Anyway starting this thread for the November TTC bus , as many of us are still TTC or in 2ww.

@Highfalutinlootin and yes the amount of money I spend on pregnancy tests is criminal I think lol next month my TWW will end just a couple days before Christmas and I'm just thinking if it's another bfn how sad that would be just before the holidays

@ACNass We should just ask our husbands to get us FRERs for Christmas. Let's be real: it's the only gift (aside from pregnancy!) we really want.

I also very much relate on the isolation. I understand that many don't want to share that they are trying for fear of awkward confessions if they can't get pregnant or have a miscarriage, but the result is profound isolation. It just feels so weird not to be able to discuss such an important event, and one that I'd really like emotional support for. I also don't really have any friends who plan to have kids. In fact, my closest friend got a vasectomy the week I started TTC! Ha.

@ACNass And yep, my December TWW ends the 22nd. Going to be either fabulous or very, very hard.

@Highfalutinlootin is it too early to start a TTC December Bus? Lol

Not in my book! But as an American I feel I'm a guest on these forums, and I don't quite know the rules. Can just anyone start the bus threads? I'm ready!

I’m also out ladies and feeling very despondent 😢. AF came last night. Ready for that December bus. Unfortunately my next period is due 24th 🤦🏼‍♀️.

By the way, obvs everyone has to work out what they are comfortable with , but personally I don’t think there needs to be such a taboo around sharing when TTC. I have told several friends and family that I am trying. I think the pressure is still there whether people know or not tbh, and it’s nice to share what I am going through . I may regret telling people though if it takes too much longer 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Update: Spoken to the GP, told me not to worry. She said most people don't usually test until they're a week late and wouldn't necessarily show a positive at the moment which gives me hope. She said the cramping is normal in pregnancy if I am time will tell. Shes asked me to contact her back if I still spot which I'm not or if dont show a positive with still no AF. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and staying hopeful!

Why does the tww feel like a lifetime?! Im only 4dpo and said I would wait until AF was due before I tested but I'm already so impatient 😂

Feels longer when you havent ovulated like me 🙄 should have had a peak friday but it is still negative xx

@MgW1 sorry to hear that, how long are your cycles usually? Are you using the CB ovulation test? Got my fingers crossed its just delayed and you get your peak xx

Yes flashed for 5 days and then blank 😔 il see what happens , having December off so if still Ame in January il speak to doc. Good luck with tww its a killer!!!! Xx

@MgW1 that must be so frustrating. Dont blame you for having December off! The whole thing is so difficult, taking the tests everyday and tww i can't believe how much it takes over your life xx

8DPO today for me...stupidly took a test because I'm too impatient. Negative obviously!

@ACNass AF just arrived a day early. What day this coming cycle do you ovulate? I'm December 6, I think.

We're ttc #1 and just coming up to my fw (hopefully if my tracking is correct!)

Its only my first cycle ttc our first so I'm probably still too positive at this point! Just remember that this new cycle might be your time :) and in the mean time...have a hot bath, have an alcoholic drink, all the things you might not be able to do soon etc...before you start again!

@Highfalutinlootin seems like we're cycle buddies now :) I think I should ovulate on cycle 14/15 which will be Dec 6th or 7th. Do you use anything to help track ovulation? I started tracking my basal temps last month but it's so tedious, I'm not sure if I want to do that again

@Raffaella13 yes you're so right. It's all about perspective. I'm definitely going to enjoy some wine this week 😊😊
