Hello 👋🏼

I got a faint BFP yesterday at 10dpo and another one today. I'm going to keep testing over the next few days but fingers crossed it's right 🤞🏼

I've not yet told me partner as I want to be 100% certain so I'm looking for some friends to keep me sane 🤣

I'm not sure if any others will have positives for late July/August yet but I can't wait to meet you all 🥰

@jennaxc that is so cute let us know his reaction!!

AMS19 · 15/11/2020 08:53

@tedlife also have back scheme this morning, very very common! Everyone i know who is pregnant has it early on. So I'm taking it as a good sign. Today it feels more like tightening rather than cramping which is a better feeling, cramping freaks me out 😂😂 the nausea has passed for now, sure it will be back (I hope it will be in a way as it means things are progressing nicely)

jennaxc · 15/11/2020 08:59

@AMS19 @TedLife
He was so shocked he thought someone had sent him a used coronavirus test 🤣 we have both said we will celebrate properly in a few days time when AF is officially late but hes so excited 🥰

@jennaxc haha omg can you imagine?! 😆 is this baby #1 for you guys?

@AMS19 ok great to hear you're in the same boat but not that you have aches! Just willing away the first few weeks and also hoping to feel sick! Though I am a bit queasy here and there. Although with my son I had very mild symptoms so it's not always a sign of something bad - need to remember that.

Is anyone planning to have early scans or anything? Or is it too early to ask?

Spin4Gin · 15/11/2020 09:15

@jennaxc haha that's brilliant :-), such a great idea to surprise him! My partners birthday was last week but one of his gifts has been delayed and hasn't arrived yet, so when it does I think I'll give him the gift and he can have a second gift of a clear blue digital haha.

jennaxc · 15/11/2020 09:27

@TedLife yeah #1 for us! We've had a tough few years as my partner was diagnosed with cfs, we were waiting for him to start getting better but decided in the summer we could be waiting a long time so to just go for it. We're definitely due a bit of good luck 🥰 Is this your first?

@Spin4Gin aww that's cute 🥰

I think I would go for an early scan, I'm not sure I could wait 12 weeks. I'm already thinking about how we can tell family on Xmas day 🙈 I need to stop getting ahead of myself 🤣

OP posts:
AMS19 · 15/11/2020 10:05

@TedLife definitely having an early scan. My 12 week NHS scan isn't until Jan 14th so I want to have a scan just before Christmas so I can tell family Christmas day! Even though it I'll only be 10 weeks at Christmas im going to tell close family

TedLife · 15/11/2020 11:18

@Spin4Gin lovely! I'm sure that will be the very best gift of all 🥰

@jennaxc it's #2 for us, my son is 17months and wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly but we're so pleased and hopeful.

@AMS19 completely agree, I had early private scans with my last pregnancy and they offered so so much comfort. My parents are supposed to be visiting us for Xmas (lockdown permitting!) so I think we'll have to tell them early so to do that I have to have a scan. Will try time it as close to their visit as my anxiety will allow!!

AMS19 · 15/11/2020 11:27

@TedLife I think I will probably have 2. One early one at 6 weeks to make sure it is viable / not ectopic then another one at just before 10 weeks for Xmas! My 12 week scan isn't until 13 weeks so that is at least a little bit after. Christmas is a bit of a pain timing, could do with it being 2 weeks later 😂😂😂

TedLife · 16/11/2020 07:48

Anyone testing again today? I got my first proper positive on a cheapie test this morning (woohoo!) feels more real once those bastards pick it up 😂

Hope you're all doing ok x

Late July/August due date
Spin4Gin · 16/11/2020 10:13

@TedLife that's a great line! I feel the same way about them haha once they show a line then I figure that must be a good sign. I got the faintest of lines on the cheapie I used this morning, a proper squinter so will try again in a couple of days :-)

jennaxc · 16/11/2020 12:09

@TedLife that's such a dark line 😍 I did a cheapie this morning and still quite faint like you @Spin4Gin will keep testing 🤞🏼 AF due tomorrow so think once she doesn't show up I will feel better

AMS19 · 16/11/2020 14:40

@jennaxc @TedLife @spin4gin 21DPO and finally seeing progression on the cheapies!! In order from left to right, 17DPO, 19DPO and 21DPO!

Late July/August due date
jennaxc · 16/11/2020 15:24

@AMS19 yayyyy 🎉 it's looking lots darker!! I can't wait to see this on mine

OP posts:
jennaxc · 16/11/2020 16:08

Is anyone else feeling any symptoms? I feel so queasy today but I'm not sure if it's excitement/nerves or I'm actually queasy 🤣

OP posts:
Spin4Gin · 16/11/2020 16:47

@AMS19 they look great! Lovely dark lines :-).

Spin4Gin · 17/11/2020 05:44

Hey ladies! So now 16dpo and I'm getting some progression on FRER but still getting nothing on the cheapies and only the hint of a line on clear blue. Are the FRER tests really that much more sensitive? I dunno if I maybe ovulated late and therefore I'm not actually late for AF yet, so it is maybe a bit earlier than I thought

Late July/August due date
AMS19 · 17/11/2020 07:30

@Spin4Gin it might be you ovulated later or implanted later? I would have expected by 16DPO to see a hint of a line. I did my CB digital at 15DPO and got 2-3 weeks and started ICs on 17DPO and definitely had lines. Sounds like you ovulated later to me!

Spin4Gin · 17/11/2020 07:38

@AMS19 I think you are right, I think it was a bit later and therefore I'm maybe not quite late for AF yet. Good excuse to keep POAS haha. I got a very faint line on a Superdrug test this morning which I didn't yesterday so they seem to be picking it up now which is encouraging Smile. My poor bank account is taking a hammering with all of the FRER tests I keep ordering haha

AMS19 · 17/11/2020 08:12

@Spin4Gin Haha! I know that feeling. If possible I would really try and only test every 2 days. I know it is tempting but given HCG levels only double every 2 days you are literally wasting every other one you use! Plus much easier to see the progression then!

jennaxc · 17/11/2020 08:42

@Spin4Gin I do think the frer tests are very sensitive because you can see on mine how dark the 15th was compared to some cheapies over the past couple of days.

AF due today so fingers crossed she stays away, I think that will make things feel a bit more real 🤞🏼

Late July/August due date
OP posts:
Spin4Gin · 17/11/2020 10:08

@jennaxc Fingers crossed she stays away! Those are great lines on your FRER tests :-). I got a faint line on a cheapie this morning so saving the digital test I have for tomorrow as I know they aren't quite as sensitive as the FRER ones.

How is everyone feeling? I can't decide if I'm nauseous due to hormones or because I'm so nervous about everything haha

TedLife · 17/11/2020 10:19

@AMS19 that 21DPO line is perfection!! Congrats!

@Spin4Gin I think I definitely ovulated later that I expected, I wasn't testing but my app predicted a Friday and although we did dtd it wasn't til the Monday that I started to feel the symptoms of ovulation so I made sure we continued to dtd! I also had some spotting last Friday and my first positive the following day which was 2 days before AF was due. This is new ground for me too because I'm usually so so regular with my periods, they're like clockwork!

I'm really worried that because of this, when I go for a scan I'll measure 'behind' but will try really hard to keep things in perspective and not freak out.

Symptom-wise I'm definitely queasy a lot but it comes and goes. Also very very tired but my little one kept me up til after 2am last night 😴

TedLife · 17/11/2020 10:28

@jennaxc Hope AF stays away for you! You should start to see some stronger lines from tomorrow hopefully x

jennaxc · 17/11/2020 10:39

@Spin4Gin I have a digital one too I'm holding off using it until I get some darker lines.

I'm feeling a bit queasy but like you have no idea if I'm just nervous and excited.. I definitely feel different though!

Thanks @TedLife I hope you're feeling ok it must be hard with a little one
