Negative test 6dpo

I know, I know, shouldn't have tested, prat! But now I've caved I've got a negative feeling. No symptoms at all, nada. I need some serious talking to in order to refrain from testing again until at least Thursday . Anyone else testing then too that I can handhold with?

Good luck everyone! I'm 3rd day of AF! Looking forward to starting again, glad to have first cycle out of the way and hoping I'm less of a psycho during cycle 2 TWW 😅😅 xx

@lulahloo I’ve got sore boobs and some barely noticeable cramping but they’re both pre-af usuals for me so I’m not really sure!

Well looks like AF has arrived. After all that nausea, tiredness and sore boobs for 2 weeks. So weird.

Thanks for replying. The scan on Thursday showed no free fluid but back today for repeat bloods.

@Thinkingahead8 I know what you mean. Is it possible that the egg gets fertilised but just doesn’t stick ?! Hence all the symptoms but then AF (which seems much thicker than normal) or is it just my whole imagination ?!

So AF arrived, but only lasted two days.The sore breasts, nausea and tiredness have also gone, but I have never had such a short period in my life and I have super regular cycles. What’s going on?!

@AMS19 don't think I will chart, but might take a few ovulation test things just to get more of an idea of when I actually O. I went through a phase of maybe leaving it out for this this month as I'm starting new job, moving house and it's Xmas🙈 but figured will just keep an eye, dtd when we feel like it and see what happens🤷‍♀️ and not focus too much on it (she says)😅

@Foxl2222 great stuff! Always good to go with the flow if you can. I knew I wouldnt be able to so obviously went full in with the OPKs and BBT tracking 🙄 i dont get too much ovulation pain and no EWCM so would have been clueless without!

Hey all. Just looking for some advice on OPK. Been using these since CD10, which is 6 days before ovulation is predicted according to the 2 apps I have. I haven't really been consistent with time of day but try to test twice, some time in the morning and then later in the day. According to the app today and tomorrow should be my peak with ovulation predicted for tomorrow. I know the predictions aren't always accurate, but have found the OPK results are very low, and not even gradually increasing. There's no pattern- ranging from 0.08-0.25, but not in that order! Is that normal? Or could it be that I'm not ovulating? I would have expected the results to increase as the days went on🤷‍♀️Hope everyone is keeping well :) x

Hi @Foxl2222 I didnt get any build up at all. Mine where all 0-10 then out of nowhere i peaked and back to 0 within 24 hours. So keep testing and it will happen. A peak out of nowhere is very common. Here are my tests to show you what I mean 🙂

Hi @Foxl2222 the first few time using opks can be a little confusing alright.

When you ovulate can vary - I ovulate CD 16 last month and CD13 this month, and it can vary much more than that even.

Also how the leak occurs can vary. Some people have a gradual rise and some can shoot up in a few hours.

Yes what you described sounds normal, LH levels can go up and down.

I always think opks Are a bit like pregnancy tests in that we just want them to turn positive! But like the rest of it, it’s a bit of a waiting game 🤦‍♀️ Keep testing a couple of times a day. Results between 11am-8pm are supposed to be more accurate.
