I know!! Really frustrating. But sometimes I think gps can't prescribe the progesterone and it has to go to a fertility clinic. @AnxiousAnnie86 I was on a Short LP thread, and heard multiple things about it. That's why I then started the vitamin B6 and vitamin C. Also started taking increase vitamin D this cycle too. (Although I do worry about taking too many things and the affect it could have)
And unfortunately I have moved house so now have a new Doctor that I've never seen before or don't know who would be the best to ask about it.

TheOrangeMonster · 11/11/2020 19:24

@Blossom428 you could tell them you're breaking through early at unpredictable times and it's annoying for your life in general.

Peony20 · 12/11/2020 07:08

I was hoping for my 3rd higher temp today but unfortunately not, no peak opk this month either so thinking I maybe out this cycle 🙄. x

Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 08:01

@TheOrangeMonster @AnxiousAnnie86 BBT has dropped this morning when I took it. So defo think AF is on her wicked way 😫😫 so frustrating isn't it, getting all the signs thinking somethings happening... and then bam, she turns up and ruins all that hope!

I may try not use anything this next cycle and try have a more relaxed approach.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 08:17

@Blossom428 I'm sorry thays so disappointing! But not out till she shows!!!!

@Peony20 are you waiting to have ovulation confirmed or did you already get a peak?

@TheOrangeMonster how you doing? Xx

TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 08:46

@Blossom428 owh, I'm sorry 😞 on to the next I guess! You're still in the land of normality in terms of length of TTC though so although this is so frustrating and I totally understand try not to let thoughts of despondency creep in. Your cumulative odds are high at this point!

@Peony20 did you ovulate yet then? Or were you waiting to confirm? I had a weird temp spike on day 18 of this cycle which lasted two days, but for me that was unfeasibly early so luckily I didn't get too excited. Perhaps you're having a longer cycle?

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm ok, 8dpo today. I did a stupid thing and peed on an OPK this morning. It came back blank (obviously - WHAT was I thinking was going to come out of that??) 😂😂😂 Every cycle I can't believe I just go through this process of thinking it might have happened, it's like my brain is a goldfish and temporarily forgets all the previous times I've gone through the exact same thought process.
I've had the standard pre-AF sore boobs for about 3 days now - nipples aren't sore though which is less usual. The tugging feeling has all but disappeared too, so that must've been something relating to ovulation. I'm not even bloated like normal, and yesterday I got an amount of CM that could have been perfectly normal. Sooo....I doubt very much we will get anywhere this time, just like all the other times. Tbh at this point let's be real - it's a problem with implantation, or DH has a sperm issue. We've timed sex pretty much right on every cycle since we started TTC, and nothing has happened yet, I'd be astounded if - if the sperm are normal - an egg hadn't been fertilised yet. Ergo it's an issue with the egg sticking, or the sperm aren't getting there. It's so frustrating that 6 weeks later DH hasn't even had a letter about his analysis.

Peony20 · 12/11/2020 08:46

Morning @AnxiousAnnie86 🙂 how are you?

Was hoping the bbt would maybe confirm ovulation, I didn’t get a peak this month and have stopped testing now xx

Peony20 · 12/11/2020 08:53

@TheOrangeMonster morning, how are you?

Nothing confirms ovulation so far, I’m on D18 now.

It’s hard not to over analyse everything and doing the testing when we want something to happen so much, we’re all with you on that one 🙂 still have everything crossed for you x

TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 09:20

@Peony20 morning! Yeah, you're right there - suddenly I'm walking around sniffing things in case my sense of smell is better 🤣 it's so stupid! I don't get why it's so difficult to reproduce. It's a bit of an evolutionary cock up really!

SarahAnne87 · 12/11/2020 09:40

Hi all, do you mind if I join this thread?

My husband and I have started TTC for baby 2 this month. I’m currently 11dpo (I think) and driving myself mad symptom spotting, I had BFN yesterday so it’s not looking likely this month but hoping this group can keep me sane!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 09:43

@Peony20 honestly, I'm feeling like total crap today, I've got such bad nausea and bloating! 😞

It's the absolute worst waiting to confirm ovulation I hate it more then the TWW!! Mine ranges anywhere from 16 -32 no idea why!

@TheOrangeMonster honestly don't count yourself out! This is just as likely to be your month with no symptoms! They do say there is nothing different then pms! I really really believe that xxx

@SarahAnne87 welcome lovely! Let the fun of TTC Commence!!!! Hopefully it won't be a long journey for you as it drives you totally and utterly bonkers!!!! X

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 09:49

@AnxiousAnnie86 sorry to hear about the nausea. 😕

@SarahAnne87 hi! Good luck with your 2nd, hopefully it'll be a quick process for you!

Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 10:02

@TheOrangeMonster yes indeed! I think last month really hit me as soooo many people announced they were pregnant.

@AnxiousAnnie86 ohh no sorry to hear nausea has hit- although I guess good signs that things are progressing well. How was the pregnancy with your first child?

Welcome @SarahAnne87 ! It's awful symptom spotting isn't it. But you aren't out untill AF shows. I'm currently spotting 11dpo but drop in BBT so know I'm out this cycle.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 10:08

@Blossom428 horrific, I was in and out of hospital with hypermesis until 25 weeks, but that must of start literally at four weeks so hoping it won't get that bad! I literally can't remember much else tbh it was 14 years ago 😂 I drank a ginger shot and put on some travel sickness bands and it seems to of eased now.

I would consider not tracking anything over the Christmas period, that was fully my intention and then to go in all guns blazing in Jan, whether or not I could of stuck to that I've no idea! X

SarahAnne87 · 12/11/2020 10:25

Thanks everyone! I have lots of symptoms but I’ve been here before lol!
Best wishes to everyone ❤️❤️

Peony20 · 12/11/2020 10:28

@TheOrangeMonster haha I know what you mean! There’s a vlogger I follow on Instagram who was ttc and said she was the same every month thinking everything was a symptom but then the month she actually fell she had no symptoms at all! Typical isn’t x

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh no, hope your taking it easy today. I’m going to finish charting until the end of this cycle and just stick with the Opk’s. x

Hi @SarahAnne87 🙂 x

Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 12:09

Ohhh gosh really @AnxiousAnnie86 . Well yes, let's hope you've avoid that this pregnancy! And this will be a smooooth once 😊
Yes think I will do as you've said, and just chill out and enjoy Christmas (as much as we can with Covid)
Then get back on it after and maybe see my doctor too if nothings happened.
I say this but I know after AF passes I may start obsessing again. It's just the sex part I think. If ovulation falls on a weekend it's fine, but when it's mid week it's tricky as we never really dtd then as OH if off to work so early and knackered when he gets in 🙈 - see already thinking about it already! Must switch off haha!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 12:26

@Blossom428 I know! I always thought you've got one job!!l you roughly ovulate at the same time don't you? Can you tell when it's gonna fall yet? X

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 12:40

@Blossom428 my DH is like that too - I have to jump on him first thing in the morning before he gets dressed or by the evening he hasn't got the energy. Though bless him he's very diligent, he will try, even after this long!

Blossom428 · 12/11/2020 13:03

Haha yeah @TheOrangeMonster !

@AnxiousAnnie86 it's roughly about cd 14/15. Has been that past 2 cycles anyways. So would be 26th/27th Nov. If AF turns up properly tomorrow. As she's just playing games with me today!
So I could just leave OPKs and try and dtd around those days and see what happens.

JayneHill · 12/11/2020 15:51

@TheOrangeMonster are you using anything like pre seed? X

TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 17:49

@JayneHill yes, have been for over 6 months now. Given the length of my journey so far (2y8m) is guessing the issue is one which will need to be looked at and solved medically. Also when taking into account my age (26), the odds of not conceiving for this long are pretty low so they do think something weird is going on.
I already have PCO, they thought it was PCOS, but now they think it's a rare genetic condition affecting 1 in 18000 people called NC-CAH (Non Classic Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia), the impacts of which on fertility are not as well understood as a lot of endocrine disorders but that apparently the treatment for is simply steroids. I'm waiting for a hospital test on 2nd December to confirm the diagnosis before they can start me on treatment, meanwhile they have referred my husband for a semen analysis.
I'm just sort of playing a waiting game with the NHS now at the worst possible time to need it 😅
In the meantime we're hoping a miracle will happen in time for Christmas!

Dunno why but today I've been super pissed off with my husband touching me - not his fault, I just find it really annoying today. It's one of those days 😖

AnxiousAnnie86 · 12/11/2020 17:54

@TheOrangeMonster 😫 I want this so badly for you! I was fifteen months and it felt like hell, it totally consumed me and I felt like it was all I thought about! I hope that the nhs reallt pull through for you on this and get sorted quickly! My friend had tried for years and years, then went for testing and she was so annoyed with herself as it was something easily fixed! X

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 12/11/2020 18:38

@AnxiousAnnie86 what happened to your friend? Do you know what it was she had in the end - did she catch quickly afterwards?
