@minster2012 well I know what sofa I want but not what colour and OH is now thinking we should go for a bold colour instead of neutral but the choices are freaking me out. We also found a bed we want but now I'm worried we didn't take enough measurements when at the house the other week to decide whether we can get a double or king size... (there are alcoves we'll want to add fitted wardrobes to but it's all imaginary numbers and I'm worried there won't be enough space between the bed and the alcove). Basically I'm a worrier and think way too much and it is all rather upsetting lol. What's extra annoying is that with the run up to Xmas the sofa has to be ordered by Thurs to guarantee a 2020 delivery and the bed is currently on sale so I don't want to wait and miss out /be forced to sleep on an air mattress until it arrives.

John Lewis already only has 2021 delivery dates for sofas ffs!

@Mosherchick that sounds very promising; if it stopped it could be implantation bleeding. I think your dates are about the same as mine in terms of when you're due to test so I keep paying close attention to what's going on with you. Hopefully we can be lucky together 🤞.

Okay I need your opinions. What would you do?
I'm not due to test until Saturday/Sunday based on when AF is due but I'm due to go stay with my cousin for a gin night on Friday and have a spa break with my best friend on Saturday night. I was just going to wait to test until Sunday when I get home but I know if I am pregnant (which I obviously desperately hope I am) I'll feel awful about having had a drink 2 nights in a row.
I'm tempted to test tomorrow morning (11DPO) so that it gives me time to come up with an excuse for my cousin (my best friend is less of an issue as I'd probably tell her straight away and just take lots of chocolate to make up for the lack of booze on the spa) but I'm not sure?
Any input ladies?

@Clapham4 ooh thank you, good to get another recommendation for them! So you going down ivf route then or did you just go there for your hycosy? Great that all is clear, but very frustrating that nothing is happening! I take it hubby has been for his SA?

@notyetamumbuttrying we’re going to wait until maybe March and see if anything has happened and then prob go IVF. DH did his SA over the summer and basically has super sperm and I got good results too so they don’t know why nothing has happened or why it’s taking so long. But they really are so nice and helpful at Care, and don’t make you feel like you’re asking too many q’s etc.

@Pebbleinthesand it’s a tough one! Maybe test at 11dpo and see, you can get a line that early from what I’ve seen on here, but if you don’t that won’t mean you’re out. With the gin just have lots of tonic or mixer, so it’s super diluted. I did that a few times when I was hopeful I might be, works a trick 🙌🏻 I’ve had sooo many friends drink without knowing they were preg and all had healthy pregnancy and babies, so during the TTC I’ll have drinks and try not to overthink it. Each to their own I think!

Currently cracking open a second bottle of red with DH and catching up on Gogglebox, kicking off FW tomorrow so may as well drink while I can 💃🏻

@Pebbleinthesand We do seem to be in sync. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you too! I just wish I felt remotely pregnant, instead of just normal lol. At least my noobs still hurt 😂 As for your dilemma... I don't think it would hurt to test early. But it may not give you the peace of mind you seek if it's a false negative. It's a tricky one!

@Clapham4 ooh yay for super sperm! Mine has the opposite lol, but at least we know where our issue lies. We said dec for the initial consultation, depending on outcome of second SA in Nov.

I've got 6 tests left, 3 frer and 3 ics, so only using 1 each day to check progression up to 18dpo 🙂 and then I will stop my addiction of poas 😅

I actually had ewcm and ovulation pains today 🎉, both late this afternoon actually so feeling happy with my body for once. Less so with my OH who put little one to bed tonight and fell asleep too so no 🍆 for me. We did it this morning but am now convinced that my cavernous vagina was not being the hostess with the most-est this morning and has already killed off all the swimmers so was hoping for another lot tonight as it's clearly now more of a welcoming environment for them. Let's hope tomorrow morning isn't too late.

In all seriousness, if I didn't have the ewcm this morning how long can sperm survive in a non-fertile environment? I know it can be 5 days but I read that the ewcm is like food for the sperm so guessing the 5 days is when the environment is good. Or am I overthinking this 🤣🤣 will assume today or tomorrow is ovulation anyway as I'm not testing using opks or taking my bbt this month.

So today is the day Flo predicted for my AF. I'm 10dpo, and even though I don't think I'm actually due until Sunday now, I feel like if I can get through these next few days without a period, it might be okay 😂 I know it's already been predetermined, I'm being stupid. But I can't help trying to put it off anyway.
I'm not bleeding at the moment and don't feel cramps. But I don't have any pregnancy symptoms either.

@Pebbleinthesand me personally would enjoy my two nights before testing but if you really don't want to then maybe do it Saturday morning & have one night off but if you want to test before then 11dpo is ok?

@Juno231 OMG you need to order the sofa and bed!! Eeekkkkk but I'm with OH though, I love a splash of colour. We have a bright orange tap in our kitchen and orange & bright blue tiles then loads of splashes of colour throughout our house but I'm with you on the worrying about the space I'm all about the measuring and making sure it fits!
