Looks like we're on the same trajectory in terms of ivf. I've said to Dh I want to get the initial consultation in dec so we're prob start in January! We could be ivf buddies 👯‍♀️

@Missgoldilocks hugs , an please rely on us to help you through a few of us have been there, a couple of times really, my sister in law was diagnosed 10 years ago, about this time of the year, the doctor said to make a big Xmas, well ob your face, still here, and my friend a few years later, but last year got the incurable diagnosis, but treatment is currently working, you’ll find a few more stories here

@Missgoldilocks so sorry to hear about your Mum, hope you get some good news next week. I know how hard it can be waiting for those results to come back.

I've just been for a 6 mile walk to keep me away from the stick, there was definitely some more spotting when I got home. Hopefully by tomorrow morning I'll know if it's spotting or AF. Although AF usually comes with no warning, as a flood 🤦🏻‍♀️

I nearly caved until I saw the spotting again and then I thought no, I'll wait.

Still, a 12 day LP will suit me just fine, thank you very much 😂

@missgoldilocks so sorry about ur mam. Please god you get good news regarding treatment. My sil is going through treatment atm.

@BellsB1 I'm on day 4 of spotting it's so annoying! Surely it's not normal to spot for so many days before AF starts? Some months it's 2 days before, sometimes 3 but not often it's as many as 4... just hurry up already 😆 want to be done with it by the weekend.

@notyetamumbuttrying I will try do a Tuesday night quiz tomorrow then to try take my mind off testing then yeah?!

@Missgoldilocks heyyyy lovely lady!! Glad you came back and it's great about holiday sex and having fun and not pressure and testing etc but so sorry to hear about your mum, listen lady - you are talking to the right person here -
Do I need to tell you my sorry tale again (or perhaps DH's sorry tale) how I met him after stage 3 spreading malignant melanoma & near death & resulting life saving massive surgeries where I was told if it came back it would kill me. It did. He proposed, (thinking he would get a younger model no doubt when I snuffed it), I started a revolutionary new chemo, we married, tumours cut out & disappeared /terminal diagnosis revoked☠️, chemo continued so we outsourced carrying our child to best mate (so don't forget I'm there for you for IVF too 🤣) DH realises he's now totally fucking stuck with me, oops, and been stable in remission since 2015, after a death sentence in dec 2014, diagnosed in 2010 at 26, I'm 36 now, 2 sets of lymph nodes, and a large bowel lighter, very scarred, but married, a 2 year old & trying for baby 2? Medicine is amazing, my brilliant immunotherapy wasn't invented even when I was first diagnosed, I had it as a trial, was one if the first in the country, now it's the standard - it's brilliant what they can do now. pm me anytime I'm happy to talk or rant or anything. And that's so good about your sister!! Please tell her to REST after egg collection and I said some weird shit when they were getting them out apparently I was hilarious 😹

By the way ladies, some interesting tv on tonight....a program called "25 siblings and me", about a guy who found out he's from a sperm donor & "me, my brother & our balls" about me fertility with some love island dude

I randomly did a opk yesterday afternoon and it was definitely peak!! Premom have it down as my biggest spike yet. I've never had the line be so dark before! I have slight cramping today and we dtd last night and again tonight. So 🤞 so I guess im in the tww again! Im alot more relaxed so not doing opks twice a day this cycle lol. Just gonna do my bbt to confirm O and thats it :)

How many more days until you are going to test @Minster2012?

@Missgoldilocks sorry to hear about your mum. My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013. They had to operate to remove the tumour and they ended up with having to remove a whole lung as there was more than they thought. He is absolutely fine now 7 years on. It is incredible what they can do for cancer patients and @Minster2012 has proved that too! Please try to keep positive for now and hopefully your mum can get through it 💕

Hello ladies
Please can I join the bus?

I was following the last couple of months and ended up having a chemical last month.

I then tracked my ovulation and seemed to ovulate late (CD19), I am usually a 28-30 day cycle.
Today I am CD32, but 13DPO.
I THINK this can be from cycle being messed up by the chemical?
So into the confusing bit...
I have got BFP on the FRER which seems to be getting stronger,
I tried a 25mu IC which gave me a faint positive I think?
And then did a clear blue which was negative.

Am I being silly getting my hopes up? Does this look like it could be another chemical as surely you'd expect stronger results by now?

You've all made me feel a lot better!! When you hear cancer you just think death!! My mums a heavy drinker and smoker has been for years, its in her colon but we just don't know the extent of it yet. Hoping for a cut and gone scenario! Death by cancer runs in our family so it's obviously really scared her..fingers crossed with the amazing treatment there is now all will be well xx

So sorry to hear about your Mum, cancer is absolutely not the sentence it once used to be. I am a children's cancer nurse and treatments are changing all the time!

@Hopeful110 yay for super spiking! See October is THE MONTH! It depends who you ask on testing...me or DH?? I'm just waiting for tests to arrive really, dr fertility says he dispatched them today...but my postie LOVES to hoard my mail so I'm hoping they get delivered tomorrow for testing weds morning? DH is around weds morning a bit then I've got time to mope in the day 😬

And I really hope our twinges mean something @Vil10- one of the ladies on the IVF thread this morning got a BFN & I asked if ppl had any twinges & she said the nurses had told her twinges are purely down to the progesterone- well thanks, way to piss on my parade of positivity I'm trying to stay positive 🤨

@Franklydear holding my hand!! 👋🏻👐🏻and I think you need to jumping on DH anyway, why not eh?! Best put his super sperm to good use! I'm recording the programs, not really DHs thing. I don't know how I would feel if I found out I was the product of super sperm with lots of siblings?!

@Minster2012 luckily, we have an spontaneous bonkfest, and I can report ewcm ( nobody really believe that I was totally chilling, right, just as much as I am capable off), dh doesn’t do that kind of program either, too much feeling I think, I have an adopted brother, and although he knows who bio parents are, is still an emotional rollercoaster, he is only 20, though I think worst is to come when he has a family of his own... I also get the funny looks, how a white 43 year old woman has a black 20 year old brother?

Just hoping on to keep up with you all.....umm if theres a FB group can I still join? 😆

I'm currently classed in the IVF world as "PUPO" (pregnant until proven otherwise!) having had my little embryo put back last weds & I'm desperately hoping the lady in the soul destroyingly boring IVF thread is wrong & sharp pains & twinges I'm having means something is going on, but she's right, it can be solely down to the dripping mess of progesterone I'm sticking up me foof every night that then spends all day SEEPING out of me 😆😩and I'm waiting for FRERs to arrive 🤦🏼‍♀️
