It’s our first month of vaguely trying so I’m not convinced that it will obviously happen but despite that it’s dragging so much !
AF due 13 th !!

@Unicornsparklez hopefully it happen for you soon.
It will happen, you just got to believe in it.

I think I know when I ovulate as I normally get pains but started using ovulation strips today just to make sure I am actually right and I am not basing it on some random pain 🤣

Amy259 · 17/09/2020 08:49

I caved and tested this morning, even fainter again - looks like it’s a chemical for me this month 🙁 feeling very gutted! No bleeding yet but can’t be far away.

LetsD0ThisThing · 17/09/2020 09:49

@Amy259 I'm so sorry to hear this. Same for me, I tested again this morning and the line is the faintest its been yet, barely visible at all. So definitely a chemical for me too. Like you, still no bleeding but I've been having lots of cramping so I'm sure it won't be too long. I just want af to arrive so I can move on to next month now. Had a good cry last night, I'd got my hopes up too much even though I said I wasn't going to, easier said than done though isn't it. Fingers crossed for our bfp next month. Hope you're ok Flowers

Amy259 · 17/09/2020 09:57

@LetsD0ThisThing yeah I definitely got my hopes up too much - but it’s hard not to when you see that second line. I keep thinking I shouldn’t have tested early but I felt completely different to how I normally feel before af this month so I knew, and will definitely be able to spot it again in the future so I’m not sure how to stop feeling/knowing if I’m in the early stages again. Plus I’m now 2/3 days late so I definitely would’ve known. I’ve had a bit of a cry this morning and probably will again when I chat to DH about it this evening. Feeling a bit too sad just now but hopefully once af arrives I’m sure I’ll pick myself up!

Trying4one · 17/09/2020 10:10

@LetsD0ThisThing @Amy259 so sad to hear this ☹️ big virtual hug for the both of you. Hopefully your AF will turn up soon x

Waiting4another · 17/09/2020 13:23

@Helenh19, I had my implant out on 1 September and now ttc my second. With my first, I had my implanon out after 15 years back to back then conceived 45 days later with no AF in between. I was waiting for AF and not really trying so it was a bit of a shock. This time I know it is possible to conceive straight away so it is like the ttw multiplied. The suggestion is to take a test 3 weeks after removal and then one test weekly after that until you get your AF back. I am worried this time though as I am still breastfeeding and who knows if my cycle will even return...

Waiting4another · 17/09/2020 13:38

@LetsD0ThisThing @Amy259 it isn’t over until AF arrives - with my first I was so sure that AF was coming due to cramps that I had a drink, then found out I was pregnant a few days later. I actually tested a few days before, but the line was SO so faint I was sure it was an indent or evap, so when I got really bad cramps later I was sure it was AF showing up...

LetsD0ThisThing · 17/09/2020 13:47

@Waiting4another thanks, I knew this was going to result in a chemical as soon as my lines started getting dramatically lighter. I have previously had a mmc at 13 weeks and a chemical at 5 weeks, so I just felt I knew. This was my first cycle ttc, I had my implant out mid af at the end of August, af returned a few months ago as my implant was 6 months over the recommend 3 years due to covid. I was shocked but also really happy that I'd got my bfp this month, so I shouldn't feel how I do, but I really can't help it. AF has just arrived so I am definitely out. But on the positive side I can now put this behind me and concentrate on next month.

Amy259 · 17/09/2020 14:01

@Waiting4another thanks for the kind words. My test lines have all but disappeared now so I’m pretty sure it’s chemical.

@LetsD0ThisThing sorry to hear about your previous losses. Definitely good to look at the positives with af arriving. Is that on time for you or late? I’m 3 days late now and hope I don’t have to wait too much longer. The positive I’m trying to focus on is that we did get pregnant, so we can hopefully do it again.

Waiting4another · 17/09/2020 14:14

@LetsD0ThisThing @Amy259 So sorry to hear it. I so hope you both get a sticky BFP soon. And with regular cycles you can try again soon.
I am going crazy from the post removal hormone rollercoaster and wondering if my AF will show up. I wanted my implant removed earlier too, but COVID...

LetsD0ThisThing · 17/09/2020 14:15

@Amy259 AF was due yesterday so only 1 day late. I do have 2 DS (11 and 7) so I know that I am very lucky whatever my outcome. I really do hope you get your bfp very soon though. When you eventually do, and you have your baby in your arms, I promise, all of this heartache will be worth it.

LynzP85 · 17/09/2020 14:16

I've taken 2 FRER between yesterday and today (DPO11 today) - both are negative at the moment. I got the faintest line with my previous pregnancy at DPO11 on a strip test - I'm praying I get a positive in the next day or two!

LetsD0ThisThing · 17/09/2020 14:16

@Waiting4another thank you so much. Fingers crossed for you too.

Amy259 · 17/09/2020 14:18

@LetsD0ThisThing thank you, what a lovely thing to say ♥️ I’ll keep everything crossed number 3 comes along soon!

@Waiting4another thank you - fingers crossed. What kind of coil did you have? I had the mirena removed on 11th June, af took 5 weeks to arrive and my PMS symptoms were horrible before it! Not sure if if ov or not before af, as I wasn’t tracking.

Waiting4another · 17/09/2020 14:29

@Amy259 I had nexplanon - I read that for 90% of women ovulation returns within 3 weeks, but mine obviously took longer last time (6.5 weeks) and this time I just have a sinking feeling that with breastfeeding my AF is never showing up...

LetsD0ThisThing · 18/09/2020 12:00

@Amy259 how are you today?

LetsD0ThisThing · 18/09/2020 12:01

@LynzP85 have you taken a test today?

Alrowley · 18/09/2020 12:10

Hey, I'm just jumping in here, hope it's okay!

I'm Amy, 34, TTC number 2 for the last 4 months. Tried ovulation strips and timing it right, and nada haha.

Last month I had a very very weird and light period of 1 day and tested the next and BFN. Did not test again, tried again and AF seemed to have showed again today 13DPO. Again no blood, or whatever, have not tested again but feel so sick and so damn tired. Anybody have anything similar at all?

xx

Alrowley · 18/09/2020 12:13

Sorry, it meant to say very little blood, it was brown and stringy and little bits when I wipe but the pads virtually have nothing on. I'm convincing myself I'm going into the change hahah

Amy259 · 18/09/2020 12:21

@Alrowley how weird! Were on contraception before TTC this time round?

@LetsD0ThisThing feel a bit rotten today, still knackered, sore boobs and queasy and still no bleeding. I wish it would hurry up so I can move on to the next cycle now, I feel like I’ll feel better once af is here and this cycle is done with? Now 4 days late.. How are you doing?

Alrowley · 18/09/2020 12:25

No, I have never been on any kind of contraception in my life. My little girl is 3.5 years and I had a pregnancy in 2019 that could not be continued. Both got got pregnant first time TTC, so this is very strange to me!

Periods have always been on the lighter side but last 2 months have been so strange, 1-2 days and brown and/or faint red but 2 tests so BFN...

So maybe this is the end of my TWW this this time :)

LetsD0ThisThing · 18/09/2020 12:28

@Amy259 I felt exactly the same yesterday, I eas just glad for AF to arrive so I could get on with the next cycle. AF is very heavy, using tampons and pads and having to change both hourly. Also a lot more cramping than usual. I remember my last cp being like this though. Hope you're not waiting too much longer now.

Amy259 · 18/09/2020 12:34

@Alrowley maybe af is just letting you off lightly haha. Are you tracking ovulation?

@LetsD0ThisThing fingers crossed it comes over the weekend. This is the longest cycle ever, I’m now on day 35! I’ve heard pregnacare can lengthen cycles and I took it for the first time this month, so I’m wondering if that coupled with the cp is dragging it out. I’m just questioning everything at this point haha, feel like I’m going nuts. I have read that af is often heavier so I’m not looking forward to that! Hopefully it doesn’t last too long for you.

Trying4one · 18/09/2020 12:48

I am hoping for some help from you lovely ladies. I have started testing my ovulation this month. I am only on cd6 but wondering if these levels look really low? I do drink a lot of water every day so don't know if that is watering the results down?

Anyone on 2ww going crazy 😂
Alrowley · 18/09/2020 12:59

Yes, I use Pre-nom and also the ovulation strips :)

I have bought the digital ones this month as they were on sale, 20 for £20 so gone for those :)

Maybe AF is just being light haha
