It’s our first month of vaguely trying so I’m not convinced that it will obviously happen but despite that it’s dragging so much !
AF due 13 th !!

@Trying4one sounds like you're testing early try and relax and skip a day if you can.

HCG doubles every 2/3 days I think so try and resist! Xx

@Jen8888 oh yeah the disappointment will stop me from testing for the rest of the week believe me 😂

@Sionemam my cycle will be 27 days. So much less time to wait compared to the 34-36 day cycles I've been having. I hope I have the patience to wait it out

@Trying4one your similar stage to me. I'm 9dpo today. Fingers crossed for you! Has the metallic taste disappeared? Otherwise sounds positive. I've had sore boobs and mild cramps like AF is on her way but far too early! I don't suffer from PMS either.

@Autumn5 welcome! 9dpo too!!! Sorry to hear about your CP but your symptoms this month sound positive too. We're made to think at school that falling pregnant is so easy but in reality it's so hard. The 2ww is awful.

@LemonDrizzle44 yeah the metallic taste disappeared last week. I have had some pains but I think they were IBS related 😂, no sore boobs. As the day goes on I am talking myself out of this cycle because I can explain away my symptoms 😩🤦

@Trying4one part of me thinks I imagine the symptoms. Because if I'm busy at work I don't notice them 😂 I'll have a better idea in 4 days time as my bbt drops 13dpo ready for AF.

I can't type it all again but I'll just quickly say thanks for the birthday wishes for Saturday everyone. I'll only be 9dpo and bound to get a bfn I don't know why I do it to myself. I'll probably test every day from 9dpo till AF!

Sorry to hear about your bfn @Trying4one. I've attached a screenshot which I found interesting. Its a study of women who took their tests from 8dpo. The results look more reliable late evening. (Look at the percentages rather than the amount of tests taken).
Welcome @Autumn5. There's a few of us here on our 2nd cycle that had chemicals last month. I counted mine as CD1 yes.

@LetsD0ThisThing oh that's good to know! Everyone always says fmu is best! I wonder if it is because HCG goes up during the day like LH does 🤔

@Trying4one yes the advice has always been fmu, but I've seen so many people on here saying they get darker lines later on. Last month I got a brn on a FRER at 10dpo, then the following evening 11dpo I used an IC and got a faint line straight away, then the next day a bfp on the FRER. Think I'll just do 2 a day to be 100% from 9dpo then 🤔🤣

@LetsD0ThisThing haha does your husband know how many pregnancy tests you get through? 😂

@Trying4one been really crampy this evening. I forgot I had really sensitive teeth this morning and yesterday evening. I saw another thread on her talking about it, she went on to get a BFP. Funnily enough I had googled it this morning. Oh how I hate the 2ww.

@Trying4one my addiction only became apparent to him after the positive because I showed him, then showed him the other 8 after that 🤣
No seriously though, I'm not that bad I bought a couple of frer and the cheap easy@home sticks off Amazon (which were just as sensitive if not more) 25 for 6 or 7 quid and it's just too tempting to poas!

@LetsD0ThisThing 😂 I think of I am not pregnant this cycle then i may get some of the easy@home tests.
@LemonDrizzle44 oh sounds positive. Ekk. I am so chilled in the run up to ovulation, I wish that would continue in the 2ww 🤦

@Trying4one the last couple of months I've ovulated around CD17-19 and as DP works away a lot i had counted myself out this month as knew I would see DP around then this cycle. Instead I've ovulated earlier when me and DP DTD so now I'm in a 2ww I wasn't prepared for

@LemonDrizzle44 I think I am getting mood swings this evening. I am getting irritable with the dog as he is being particularly whiny and I don't have the patience to deal with it 🤦 I normally only get irritable when tired.
Maybe this month will be your Month because you were prepared for a chilled one?!

How is everyone doing today?

10 DPO today. Last night I had a mixture of really, really mild cramps and a stretching sensation which started on one side then on both. My husband also commented that I have a glow on my face, he said it looks shinier then normal and asked what I had done differently in my face cleansing regime haha.

@Autumn5 my husband isn't that observant. He will ask if a jumper is new when he has already seen me wear it before 🤣 besides I have always had oily skin and the oil shone has gone up a notch since coming off the pill. I super strength make up to get it to stay all day 🤣🤦
9dpo and not feeling sick today or not yet anyway. I keep talking myself out of any symptoms I get. I just don't want to get my hopes up anymore 😔

@Trying4one Totally understandable. I find myself getting to excited every time I have a symptom, I have to remind myself that most of the symptoms are similar to the usual PMS 😕
I definitely feel better this week then last week knowing my period is due this Friday, so getting closer to knowing where I stand. That first week out of the 2ww is a tough one 😒 It’s hard not knowing where you stand.

@Autumn5 yeah the first week you can't do anything as implantation hasn't happened yet. The second week there is a chance implantation has happened but you have to wait for HCG to rise.
My period isn't until due until Sunday 🙈
I don't know why but I have this fear that the egg is getting fertilised but my body is having issues with implantation

So glad to see others going crazy! I have been lurking on these sites for so long and finllt joined! I can't bear the wait and the negative result is so hewrtbreaking. It would be my first and its about the 5th month of trying. Hope we all get our bfps!! I can't take it anymore!! Love to all xxx

Thank you!! I must be about cycle day 21 or 22 so similar to you all. My cycles are between 28-33 and I tried the clear blue ovulation test and it never gave me a smiley this month or last month!! I have heavy periods though so I definitely am ovulating. I read that sometimes the hormone surge is short so you can miss it. So I am exhausted from trying. I am really really trying not to symptom spot! Hope everyone else is coping okay today?
