It’s our first month of vaguely trying so I’m not convinced that it will obviously happen but despite that it’s dragging so much !
AF due 13 th !!

That should be ‘ovulating tracking’ not teaching 😂

@LemonDrizzle44 I am 8dpo. No real symptoms for me. I had a metallic taste on 1dpo but I know it was too early for symptoms. No real symptoms since. TBF I never get PMS so I am not sure whether I would symptoms this early or not.

@Amy259 it is entirely possible your body is a little confused or may have a longer cycle this month. Hopefully you get your peak soon.

Please can I join in the 2ww? I’m 9dpo (I think), it’s hard to know as I had a chemical pregnancy last month. But I felt physically fine afterwards so I continued on. It was only my first month of trying.
I’ve had sore nipples, occasionally felt nauseous and had mild cramping on and off for the past 7-8 days.
I knew very little about the obstacles of trying until last month. It’s all so overwhelming and the 2 week wait is awful. It’s hard to talk to anyone close about it, I got excited last time and told 2 close friends but then felt awful when I started bleeding a few days after getting 3 positives.

@Amy259 and @Trying4one haha yes the Euros break is actually quite nice :-)

@Amy259 I forgot to say with my chemical last month I think it could have made my ovulation later, I peaked at day 15 this month (26 day cycle). Glad you’ve got the smiley.

Welcome @Autumn5 I found this group great last month (my first month ttc too) as I didn’t even tell DH when I got a positive 9dpo as it was so early. Sadly it went away and then I did tell my DH and mum and they were great. Fingers crossed for you, it’s a long old two weeks but you can vent here

Welcome @Autumn5 last month was my first month TTC and I had what looked like implantation bleeding for a couple of days. I was gutted when my period turned up. This group was really helpful and made feel less like I was on my own.
Once I do get pregnant I don't plan on telling family until closer to the 12 week point. I have one friend who knows that we are TTC so I will let her know. The rest of the family don't know we are trying as I don't want that added pressure.

@Autumn5 welcome! Sorry about your loss, a few of us had chemicals last month too - I had no idea it was this common. Hope you’re not torturing yourself too much this tww - when is af due?

@Trying4one thanks haha! Yeah I’m with you, I have one friend who knows and I don’t think I’ll even tell DH until the 5/6 week mark next time. I didn’t tell him until I knew I was having a chemical as I’d planned to surprise him and hadn’t yet, but I know he wouldn’t do well with the rollercoaster! So I think I’ll spare him until I think it’s at least past the chemical stage.

@Amy259 sorry about your loss too :( I had no idea what a chemical pregnancy was until I went through it. It’s definitely been a learning curve, I feel like I know a lot more this time round. AF is due on 9th October

Does anyone know if you count the first day of bleeding with a chemical pregnancy as the first day of your cycle?

@Amy259 I don't know how long I would be able to keep it from my husband once I get a positive test, but I also don't want to tell him if it is faint.
The urge to pee on a stick is so strong today 🤦🤣 I may just do a LH strip to lower the urge 🤣🤣

@Autumn5 Yes I think that’s right and it’s common that the bleeding starts a bit later than usual after a CP. Two days for me I think.

@Trying4one that’s so funny, I’ve told myself I won’t test this month until af is due but we’ll see how long that lasts 😂

@Autumn5 yeah I think that’s the general rule, and I think things can be a little messed up afterwards. I’m on a thread for ttc after a chemical and the general consensus is that things are a bit unpredictable the next month.

@Sionemam I am glad you agree. I feel like I am going crazy. I don't want to do a pregnancy test for a at least a couple more days. I don't think it has helped that some posted their dye stealer on FB saying it was only 6dpo. It clearly wasn't a 6dpo and at least a week or too further a long but has for some reason made me want to do one 🤦
@Amy259 i keep telling myself that I don't want to test yet but the waiting is getting to me 🤣

@Trying4one I’m on a couple of ttc Facebook pages but I’ve unfollowed them so I don’t see it on my feed because I was seeing one that caught my eye and following down a rabbit hole!
I have no doubt I will struggle to wait for af 😂 I also felt so different last month when I had the chemical, I knew I was pregnant so early on because it was so different to before af. So I reckon I’d have a fair idea if I was again..

@Amy259 I think I may end up doing that as I can see it getting too much.
I am trying to not read too much Into things as I don't want to get my hopes up but I have shakey hands today, had a spell of dizziness earlier ( though I do occasionally get that anyway as I have a dodgy ear) and now feel nauseous. Only 8dpo.

@Trying4one I stayed in them so I could have a browse when I needed to/felt like it. And I definitely felt a big difference mentally, only reading about it when I was in that headspace.

Promising signs! Do you have FRERs in the house?

For anyone who is going to go testing crazy (like me)...

I didn't get a BFP until 17 dpo and even then was super faint! Xx

@Jen8888 ah that may mean I need more tests then 😂 I haven't taken any yet and trying to hold off as long as possible so as long as I do that I shouldn't have to buy more tests 🙈 I already have 4 clear blue, 2 FRERs and 3 cheapies

@Jen8888 good to know. I did look at the cheapies on Amazon before but got put off by the claims t false positives. But it seems that could happen with any tests especially if testing early. I also wonder if people get confused between false positives and chemical pregnancy or even that some tests are more sensitive then others.

I know @Amy259 everyone makes out like 10DPO is standard for your BFP but at even 17dpo I was only 2 days late for my period.

Definitely worth waiting to test... if you can

I was so grumpy it was a BFN at 10/11/12/13/14 etc that I ordered another OPK kit in Amazon - £30 down the drain!

@Jen8888 well I am annoyed at myself as I couldn't hold off any more and I tested. BFN. I will probably test on Friday as AF is due Sunday. If BFN on Friday then I will just wait to see if AF arrives
