Am I seeing things??? 11dpo photo attached

Hello girls!

Please can someone tell me if I’m seeing things/it’s an evap line?

I’m 11dpo, period due 4 days time. Thought I’d use one of the test strips I got free with ovulation tests... I ordered some more pg ones last week but still awaiting for them to arrive. Don’t wanna go out and buy any just yet as I have wasted so much money in the past few months :(

Couple of months ago I got 2 false negatives from blue dye tests so refused to use them any more!

Please let me know if my eyes are deceiving me but be kind lol xx

I see a faint line

@CMAYF11 glad it’s not just me 🤣 I’m not getting my hopes up cos like I mentioned a couple months ago I had evap lines and it was devastating. I still think I’m coming to terms with it now xx

@ttc97 Oh my word! Two people have actually said they see a line!!! Eeeek! Last time I posted on here people were like ‘nope - Evap’ and they were right so it’s nice to not have that lol.

I am at sexual health clinic today as have suspected BV (sorry I know no one asked haha) You reckon they’d allow me a pregnancy test there? X

I can see a faint line but it doesn’t seem to have colour to it.. try again in a day or two ☺️ x

I can see quite a strong white line...

Fingers crossed it's good news for you but yes like a pp has already said try again in a couple of days.

@MrsB2019x oh I know what you mean! In person I can see slight, slight, sliiiiight pink but yes totally get you! Trying to not get my hopes up anyway.
I will be trying my best not test every hour at this rate 🤣🤣🤣 Xx

I’ve just shone my torch on the back of it and it does make it look pink, wish I could show you lol but no idea how I’d get a pic of that!

I didn’t use FMU as I got up to pee at 6am then this test was 8am when I finally got my butt out of bed (working from home making me lazy!)

I will await this delivery of tests and then stock them in the bathroom with my lil pee cup ready !! Xx

I can see a line but no colour to it. Can you hold for 4 hours and do another?

@Moandy ha ha I will try my best but don’t have the best bladder control, I’m a flipping nightmare!! Had to drink a good bit of water this morning as getting blood tests as well as swabs so I’m waiting outside the clinic about to pee my pants! Hahaha Xx

Just got back from my apt at clinic... forgot to ask for pregnancy test as was too knocked back by her offering me a HIV test I literally felt sick I have never even considered that before but she just said it’s routine! Haha not that she suspects anything... anyway, she said my cervix was ‘hiding’.. she eventually found it hahah but I was thinking WTF! Anyone had similar? She had to manoeuvre the speculum thing further up. Weird cos they found it fine at my smear last year xx

It is absolutely routine to offer an HIV test, even if you feel you might not have been at risk of contracting it.

There are many people (around 8,000?) in the U.K. living unknowingly with HIV. Some small number of women are diagnosed in pregnancy and by knowing they and their unborn babies can get the best care with the babies being born healthy and negative.

I have been with my partner 5 years and never had any issues but as soon as she mentioned HIV I thought Jesus I could’ve possibly caught it before him and had it all along!
I know that you get a test when pregnant so if I ever was to fall, I know I’d have to get one some day! Suppose it’s out the way and whatever the result it’s only for the best like you say xx

My early one steps looked like that. Currently 11 weeks!
Do one FMU tomorrow but it really looks positive. Good luck.

@Furbabymum15 ah this is good news!!! Just took another cos I’m a POAS addict and I actually am just in disbelief. Took the dog round the park and started crying hahah!

Been given antibiotics for BV and says to not take if you think you’re pregnant and speak with GP first.... all GP appts gone!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

P.S you can tell I work from home all day on my own, I need to talk to someone! Lmao xx
