SEPT 2020 BPF testing/ two week wait Gals 🤞🤞

Hi girls,
Im currently in the tww and wondering if anyone is too and wants to share their journey. Im currently 8DPO and am doing my best to NOT poas though its so hard! Im literally an addict...but so far so good. Im determined this time to not test before 12DPO!
Bit about me: im 37, Have been ttc for just over a year now and in that time sadly had a MMC x 2 and more recently an ectopic requiring tube removal. So afraid that I wont be able to concieve on the side of my existing tube but ya gota have hope, right?! Hoping for a rainbow baby on this our fourth attempt.

Symptoms so far:
-Bigger boobs but not sore (yet)

• loads of rumblings going on low down
• sleepy after food
• weight loss ( though im on the large side so no harm there!)
• odd lower back pain
• VERY emotional (poor hubbie!)

Would love to chat to ladies in a similar boat to symptom share and have a laugh with in this horrible tww fiasco! Fingers crossed for baby dust for all hoping for their BFP ✨🤰🤗❤

I'm pretty sure that's the darkest test line I've ever had!

Are you testing tomorrow morning? I'm going to do a FRER tomorrow morning, I'm so excited but nervous as well.

I just want to go to sleep now so I can wake up haha!

@Imog pretty sure I did ovulate on d11 as felt it strongly and had other signs. Just got to wait to see what happens! Had my Mirena out mid May and it took a few cycles to regulate periods so this is probably cycle 2 for us.

@ChasingRainbow @Jadeb1995 those OPKs look so strong! Hopefully a positive sign for your tests tomorrow

Can I ask if you guys still continue to do the OPKs every day after you’ve ovulated?

First month using them!

@DontFadeAway Wow that's amazing weight loss. But exactly what you've already said, you're body has/is producing a gorgeous little bean so try and enjoy it 😍
It'll be lovely sharing it with your mum, someone who understands what's going on, especially when you're in work ☺️

I think I'm going to phone the midwife tomorrow just to see what they recommend. I'm sure they'll just probably take my details and book my dates for later down the line..

Also, as far as my app is concerned, we are exactly the same time wise!! It says I'm 4 weeks today 😍

@hereforallthehelp For me personally, I didn't continue, other than checking the following day to see if it had gone down again.. I don't see any harm in carrying on other than going through lots of OPKs 😂

Good idea about phoning midwife, I think I'm going to do it Friday as I've got a day off! Seems so surreal! Not sure where you're based as some practices are different.. I'm in the South East.

@DontFadeAway I'm in North Wales and my local birth centre is about 30 minutes from me. I'll more than likely be consultant led so I'll actually have my little one in Hospital which is about 30 minutes from me as well (in the other direction 🤣)

Yes 16th May too 😍 I'm sure the dates will differ slightly following scans but we certainly won't be far off each other.

I also realised today that if these dates are correct, then I'll be due almost exactly a year after we said goodbye to our little boy (18th May).. I'm a big believer in everything happening for a reason & it made me quite emotional when I saw the dates 💓

I feel good today, actually quite "normal" if there is such a thing! 😂 what about you? X

That's so amazing, it'll be lovely to keep in contact throughout, I'd love to know how you're getting on. And I totally agree, everything happens for a reason and May will be such a special month for you and your OH, for more reasons than one! I cant imagine how emotional that was for you!

Glad you're feeling good! I'm feeling a bit better today actually, thank you. A few little twinges here and there but on the whole, not too bad!

We were out with OH's family for lunch today for his nans birthday and it was SO hard not to say anything! 😂🤐🤐

Hi ladies, I couldn't resist joining this thread as it's filled with so much positivity . I'm roughly 11dpo (didn't track with OPKs) and AF is due on Wednesday. I have decided not to test until AF is late this month as seeing a BFN is a lot more painful than seeing AF.

Mumma's to be, what symptoms did you experience in the lead up to your BFP?

What brand did u use. Ive been using one step and the dye quality in it seems so crap

I'm still only 7dpo and fighting the urge to test!

Does anyone else get a tiny twinge, that could literally just be gas, and end up googling until you find someone with a similar experience where they got a BFP? 😂🙈

Im roughly about 6dpo so almost same boat as you.. how have you been feeling. I feel no change so far

In terms of symptoms, I had a lot of flutters/cramping.. A slight bit of Insomnia but not so much so that I thought I'd be pregnant.. I actually thought it would be a BFN this month, but I did have one thing that I thought might be an indication (and sorry if TMI!)... I was just about to get in the shower and noticed that my nipples had gone darker!! Honestly, I did a double take, looking down like WTF 🤣 I thought I was going mad as I'd never really noticed but clearly it's since I've been pregnant. So there you go.. 🤷‍♀️😂

Also, quick welcome to all the other ladies who are new. Sorry it's so hard to keep up but I hope you get your well deserved BFPs this month 😍

@Iloveoreos welcome ☺️ not silly at all, we're all new to different things! It stands for "First Response - Early Response" which are (arguably) the best early detection pregnancy tests X

😂😂😂 I can't say my nipples have changed much but I am definitely experiencing insomnia at night which leads to me being exhausted all day hopefully this is also a symptom for me x

@Iloveoreos I believe it's 6 days before your expected period. I used mine at 10 days post ovulation (which was quite early) and got my BFP 💓 Sometimes it can take longer though, so don't be disheartened if it's negative.. you just might have to wait a little bit longer to test. X

My main symptoms were ongoing headaches.. I had a headache for a week straight! And hot flushes, wow, I did the Tesco shop on Friday and was sweating even though Tesco has air con 😂😂 lots of little twinges and more CM than normal!

@ForeverHopeful17 we're very close then! I'm 10dpo and af is due Thursday! My symptoms so far have been very tired! Had to have a nap today lol! Had a headache today and yesterday. Did a naughty early test todya and of course it was a BFN 🙄😂

Been feeling very nauseous on and off for the past few days but I have endometriosis so could be that too 😭 really hope we get a positive this month! @Bellaashley I bet you're so happy lovely! It's so nice to see so many of you having your bfps this month. Let's hope the rest of us get ours v soon too. @Iloveoreos love your username haha! I love them too!
