Anyways I'm 2DPO! Would love to symptom share and see if anyone else is ttc around the same time as me! :)

Thank you @sohe I still don't want to get my hopes up, if I make it well past AF potentially showing up I might start to believe it more!! Sorry to see your negative (your message hadn't loaded on my app when I posted), definitely try again. I'm testing quite early, but only because I had what I thought was implantation bleeding on Thursday so I knew I should get a positive 48 hours later if it was that

octobersky19 · 16/08/2020 08:59

Congratulations @Welliedays xx

Sohe · 16/08/2020 09:05

@Welliedays yer I only tested early as I had quite painful cramping between dpo 5-7 with loads of white CM so thought if that was something maybe I would get a line today. Since day 7 I just feel normal though. It’s not over til AF arrives I guess. Trying to stay positive. I’m in a similar boat to you I think. Had an early MC in June, was confirmed by reducing HCG levels in bloods, and this was my first period since that. Doesn’t help that my partners sister announces her second pregnancy yesterday. We didn’t tell anyone about our loss so it’s so hard to keep to yourself. I’m happy for her but part of me literally felt crushed when she announced it. I just wanted to leave and cry x

Lemondropsandgumdrops · 16/08/2020 12:38

@Welliedays congratulations!! Lovely news and the first BFP for the thread 🎉

We’ve had a fun morning here. My 19 month old woke up with a temperature and coughed her way through the morning. Since my job involves going into peoples homes, and she has 2 other kids she’s with during the week, we had to take her for covid testing this morning. As she’s so little I had to do it myself to her, pretty sure she hates me right now! I did bribe her with animal biscuits and yoghurt pouches after so I think that helped a little. I’m almost certain it’s just a cold or teething but obviously have to be careful. It’s taken my mind off preg testing at least!

Welliedays · 16/08/2020 12:43

Ahh @sohe it's so hard isn't it... And friends who tell you they're thinking of having a baby and the next thing you know they're pregnant and all goes well. It's so tough and I'm sure if they knew they would be more sensitive... But you just don't want to tell them, especially when they have such happy news. I've told one friend, who I don't see very much but other than that noone knows and it is so hard

Oh no @lemondropsansgumdrops you've definitely done the right thing, I think testing will definitely increase with kids going back to school too... How common are coughs etc when they first go back 🙈 I'm sure it will be negative, and I'm sure she'll forgive you soon!!

FxBB2020 · 16/08/2020 16:10

@Welliedays huge congratulations! Such exciting news 🥳 you’re paving the way for the rest of us!

@Lemondropsandgumdrops sorry to hear your little one isn’t well-you definitely did the right thing. Hopefully she gets the all clear really quickly!

@Sohe hope is not lost for this month! You were still early testing weren’t you??

I also tested this afternoon and surprisingly could see a hint of something..appeared within 2-3 mins but is so incredibly faint...definitely wont be able to hold out until morning to retest! Really trying not to get excited but it’s proving incredibly hard!

FxBB2020 · 16/08/2020 16:13

Heres the pic!

2DPO - who's with me? :)
Welliedays · 16/08/2020 16:40

Ahh congratulations @fxbb2020 I'm sure I can see a faint line too. I'd maybe try and wait until the morning but I know it's so hard not to keep testing!!

Shinea · 16/08/2020 16:51

@FxBB2020 congrats!! even I can see a line!! How many dpo are you?

FxBB2020 · 16/08/2020 17:32

Thanks girls- I'm in total disbelief. I'm between 8 and 10 dpo. Just took a first response and it's definitely positive...totally shocked

2DPO - who's with me? :)
RMarieClaire · 16/08/2020 17:38

No doubting that. Congratulatons! @FxBB2020

Lemondropsandgumdrops · 16/08/2020 17:39

@FxBB2020 that’s definitely positive! Are you only 6DPO though?! That’s incredible if so!!!

Welliedays · 16/08/2020 17:47

Ahhh that's a really good line @fxbb2020 especially for only being between 8 and 10dpo!! 🥳🥳🥳

Welliedays · 16/08/2020 17:49

Your line looks nearly identical to mine @fxbb2020. I think I'm somewhere around 11dpo, but I actually have no idea 😂🤞🏻🤞🏻

Lemondropsandgumdrops · 16/08/2020 17:56

Oh wait no sorry I read your last post wrong! 8-10DPO is still fab for a line like that!

Sohe · 16/08/2020 19:13

@FxBB2020 congradulations. Amazing result for you xx

octobersky19 · 16/08/2020 19:43

Can anyone put my mind at ease? I've caved at 7dpo (taken an IC) and today at 8dpo took a CB early detection..

I can see a line, mostly on the CB and I'm that paranoid I took it apart to make sure I wasn't seeing things (still not convinced)

Ttc since a miscarriage in June, we've needed ivf in the past and miraculously conceived in May, so hoping we can do it again 🤞🏻

Thanks, Mel xxx

Welliedays · 16/08/2020 19:53

@octobersky19 I see a line lovely! I think congratulations are in order!!!!

octobersky19 · 16/08/2020 19:57

@Welliedays thank you! I really hope it's not a false positive and this one sticks... I'm getting all of the symptoms I had last time, DH can see a line but doesn't want to get excited until AF doesn't show and that's ages away yet

Welliedays · 16/08/2020 20:00

@octobersky19 we're the exact same... Don't want to get excited yet.. AF is due on Thursday for me.. I think if I get to Monday I'll be happy!

Lemondropsandgumdrops · 16/08/2020 20:59

I’ve just realised I use both fertility friend and Premom apps - I upload the same BBT temperatures to both and also upload my OPKs to Premom for the test/control ratio pics. However, FF has my DPO a day later than Premom. They both have the exact same temping info however Premom also has the peak OPK logged, yet FF says I’m 9DPO and Premom says I’m 8DPO. Anyone have any idea which is correct?! I had a peak OPK at 5pm on the 7th, and a BBT temp rise on the morning of the 8th?

somanystars · 17/08/2020 09:56

Morning everyone, and congrats to the BFPs!! 🥳

Sorry it's been a wee while since I commented - I find that if I miss a few messages I start to get a bit overwhelmed thinking I should reply to them all so I don't say anything at all 🤦🏻‍♀️ Plus I had family staying this weekend so was trying not to be on my phone too much.

I'm 7DPO now (possibly 6DPO but I think 7), anxiously waiting for symptoms to start. I've had a whole bunch of different kinds of twinges in my lower abdomen but I don't really trust that they're not in my head or normal for me as I wouldn't have been looking out for them before.

I have noticed that my boobs are starting to feel sensitive though which definitely doesn't usually happen at this point in my cycle. I'm concerned that I'm either imagining it or that it's just because I keep prodding them to see if they're sore but I think there's definitely something! Nipples are still sore but that's normal for me I think. Still haven't noticed the nausea/going off food type feelings that I've had in the week or so after ov on the last two cycles - can lack of sickness be a symptom?? 🤣

And finally I was so tired yesterday, like eye-wateringly tired, that I ended up going for a nap mid-afternoon despite having family over. But (because there's always something else it could be!) obviously having guests can be tiring in itself, particularly after months of basically only socialising with DH, and I'm prone to a bit of fatigue anyway.

Also I did an IC this morning and it was negative, of course!! Wasn't disappointed though because I totally expected it. Going to head out for some FRERs later today and then hang on to at least one of them until Friday. Might do the other on Wed.

Apologies that this is so long! It's all been ticking away in the back of my mind this whole weekend so had to write it all out somewhere. Hope everyone's well!

Welliedays · 17/08/2020 10:09

@somanystars don't feel bad about not replying to every message... It moves so quickly that literally a couple of hours and the whole chat has moved on! Just post whatever you're feeling anyway, we don't mind!! It does sound promising for you... 7dpo is defs super early, I'd say by Wednesday you're still pretty early as you'd be relying on quite an early implantation to get a positive then. When is AF due?

Louisa199 · 17/08/2020 10:16

@Lemondropsandgumdrops Premom predicts the O day based on the TTC results, that is why it said you are 8DPO. How does your chart look like? Anyway, the peak fertility days are the day before your LH peak, the peak day and the day after. So if you BD on 7th and 8th, Winkstill got a big chance. Fingers crossed.

somanystars · 17/08/2020 10:17

@Welliedays Thank you! It would be early, but I seem to have quite a short LP so I'm due on Saturday 😬 Meaning Wed would be 4 days before AF and might show up on a FRER. But equally might not 🤣

I must admit the short LP thing has been stressing me out a bit (it was 10 days the last two cycles, give or take). I read somewhere that your LP can be short after coming off hormonal BC and then lengthen slightly after a while so if I'm not pregnant this cycle I'm hoping that happens for me! I just keep having visions of AF arriving at 10DPO and not giving anything time to implant 😩
