Jumping on - so after my mmc looks like I finally ovulated and am now in the tww - I hope anyway, I hope it lh it’s picked up and not any remaining hcg 🤞🏻 Let the fun begin again. I’m on holiday next weekend just to a cottage in Shropshire but that will hopefully keep my mind off things and away from the test sticks. Af due around the 24th August but think I’ll try and ride it out and not test until the very end of August if it hasn’t come along due to miscarriage.

Hello guys I hope you are doing well, I can't remember who said they were the bbt expert on here, I'm wondering if someone can help me out figuring out when I've ovulated. For starters I'm confused as to whether you ovulate on the dip or after it? I know it's not all of my cycle yet but I'm hoping I've caught the most important part. I know I should take my temp at the same time every morning but with a 13 month old it's not always possible and obviously there is broken sleep so it's not going to be a perfect chart. Advice welcome 😁

@Busybee143 hi - I think you may need another couple of temps to confirm but think you may have ovulated either at CD15 or 16. Depends on how accurate your temp is on CD16? I think the dip on 15 might be it but I'd feel more comfortable saying that if 16 was a bit higher! I think your odd temp at CD10 might throw a spanner in the works for the algorithm to pick up your ovulation later on - so watch out for that!

Can I hop on? Currently in my fertile window (🥵 - anyone else having a very sweaty FW in this heatwave) so should be testing on the 22!

Very confused by my OPKs though. Anyone ovulated without getting even nearly a positive on ICs? I have a peak on CB digital but my ICs are really weak. 🤷‍♀️

Can I join you guys? First time TTC and first cycle. I think I ovulated today based on peak OPKs yesterday on IC and clear blue static smiley and today them being just high but who knows. This is a whole new world!
AF due on 23rd according to my apps.

@Busybee143 the rule of thumb is to have three consecutive high temps after ovulation day, that are higher than the previous 6. Ovulation often has a little or big dip but it's not required.

So your little dip looks promising but your temp the day after looks about the same as the temp the day before. So potentially the dip is misleading and you actually ovulated on CD16, which we'd have to wait for another two high temps to confirm.

Additionally that giant spike on cd10 probably means your three temps won't be higher than the previous six but I think it's an anomalous temp so probably can be ignored.

It's important to look at the whole picture though as OPKs and ewcm might help indicate something else entirely. All a bit tricky!

Thank you, I think I had my LH surge on CD 14 so would that fit then? I had a lot of ewcm around that time and I felt like it was fertile week ha! I've had thicker discharge today so I'm assuming I'm 'drying up' for the month 😂 thank you so much for your guidence
