@TheOrangeMonster yeah that's my fear too!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 24/09/2020 08:31

@TheOrangeMonster what cycle day was that???? Maybe there's something in the air this month! X

TheOrangeMonster · 24/09/2020 09:05

@AnxiousAnnie86 cd21!
I got the sore boob that day and commented on here about it. God, I don't know if we were covered - do you think we were?
I've had NO EWCM or even watery CM this month, I've been as dry as the Sahara. It can't possibly work, can it?
Now I have to ring the Dr back and organise that blood test, I'm really nervous about the whole thing.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 24/09/2020 09:10

@TheOrangeMonster if you did it Saturday you should of done! It only takes one go! And they say the days before is ovulation is more important then they day of! I've had no ewcm either yet and I normally see that before the flashing smiley on Cb.... I think that's because I haven't taken Epo, as I read it can delay ovulation: if I do ovulate shortly the things I've done diff this month as I read can delay, is stop taking pre natal and only the take folic, with a Vit D separate x

TheOrangeMonster · 24/09/2020 09:23

@AnxiousAnnie86 well, I really hope that's made some sort of difference for you! Sometimes it feels like it comes down to tiny things doesn't it? What is going on this month!! 🤯

AnxiousAnnie86 · 24/09/2020 09:26

@TheOrangeMonster I think I will probably be in for a long wait to be honest, but I'd rather see the flashing then the blank circle saying low fertility!!! Encourages me to DTD 😂😂

Chlo2701 · 24/09/2020 13:13

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm good thanks hun. I think there is something in the air this month as I think I've already ovulated! I'm not doing CBD this month. I didn't get Ewcm either but by going by my RHR I think I have ovulated & im only CD14. Think I ovulated CD11. If you've got flashy already & it's early for you then hopefully you'll ovulate sooner aswel. God I've used the word ovulate loads in my comment🙈x

Blossom428 · 24/09/2020 13:34

Yeah I know what you mean @AnxiousAnnie86 some people do lay down for a bit after, but I do always go to the toilet. Like @TheOrangeMonster the sperm already shoots up to where it needs to go anyways!

Lots of early ovulation!! I hope mines not too early haha. I'm already usually around day 12-14.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 24/09/2020 13:47

@Chlo2701 I hope so, the earliest I've ever ovulated is Cd17 so I'd be happy with that!!! Xx

TheOrangeMonster · 24/09/2020 16:38

@Chlo2701 that's really promising if you have ovulated already - your body might not be taking a long time to get back to normal!

Day 21 (30 for me) blood test now booked in for next Thursday. That was the earliest they could do so I hope it doesn't affect the results! Now we'll see if there's a reason I haven't got pregnant so far.

Chlo2701 · 24/09/2020 17:28

@AnxiousAnnie86 I reckon that there's something in the water this month & we'll all ovulate early🙈 if you ovulate early does that mean that you won't miss it as it'll be before you go away without OH?
Also I always stay led down for at least 10mins after DTD, I was desperate to get pregnant so was willing to try anything lol!
@TheOrangeMonster ahhh I wish I could help there, but I don't understand much about the bloods, but I really hope you get some answers hun 🤞🏻x

TheOrangeMonster · 25/09/2020 14:45

This month is turning out to be a real anomaly! My chart looks like a normal person's for once!
Does anyone else get such a big difference in pre and post ovulation temperature? Usually mine's about 0.2°C but this time it's about 0.5/6!

@AnxiousAnnie86 still flashing smiley today? I've been crossing my fingers for you that you ovulate before your weekend away.

@Chlo2701 how's the RHR looking? Any more evidence of early ovulation?

Where is everyone else in their cycle now? I'm apparently 3dpo, but I'm pretty much counting myself out because we were so lax about sex this time round I feel like it crept up on us a bit.

TTC - Thread 2- a lucky one!
AnxiousAnnie86 · 25/09/2020 14:50

@TheOrangeMonster mine can vary, but normally pre ovulation is in 97.00s then after its in 98.00s

Yeah I've still got flashing! I've got a week before I go so hopefully I will!!!! X

bwfcchick88 · 25/09/2020 15:16

Hi ladies, I rang the doctor's for my urine results and they said 'normal, no further action required'. So now I'm really confused as I thought urine tests for pregnancy would be positive or negative?! I sound insane writing this, don't I? Genuinely don't think I'm pregnant but still no sign of my period so I'll do a few more tests this weekend then try and get an appointment as I'm confused as to why AF hasn't showed up. No stress, no life changes... just bloody annoying! Love to all x

TheOrangeMonster · 25/09/2020 15:32

@bwfcchick88 Sounds to me like the person who read your results didn't read the notes on their system as to what they were supposed to be telling you. BUT "normal, no action required" does sound like what they'd say if they tested for a UTI and it came back all clear, how weird!

Try not to worry about the delayed period. Honestly, it happens to people all the time, I know it's frustrating but the more you worry about it the more you'll probably put it off. You probably haven't ovulated yet since your last period (or so recently that it's not time yet). My mum told me she once went six months without a period then they just randomly came back, two weeks after she went to the doctor to see what was up.

It sounds unhelpful to say this but the best advice I can give you is wait, and try not to worry. If it gets to day 90, the doctor will give you something to induce a bleed. Before then they'll just tell you to wait! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. 🤞🏻it comes back soon!

TheOrangeMonster · 25/09/2020 15:33

Sorry @bwfcchick88 should have said - what they told you over the phone didn't sound like the wording of a pregnancy test result.

bwfcchick88 · 25/09/2020 16:04

Thanks @TheOrangeMonster, no I don't think it was the wording of a pregnancy test result either! It's just annoying because this has never happened to me before at all - plus I've had symptoms which I reckon is probably my body taking the p*ss! I'll just see what happens and stay calm - bizarre that it happened to your mum but I'm glad they came back... Have a lovely weekend and thanks for your support xx

Chlo2701 · 25/09/2020 16:16

@TheOrangeMonster I dont temp so I can't help there, I just track my resting heart rate, & my RHR is always at its lowest when I'm bleeding, so it's very similar to BBT. I'm so confused this month though because of the early loss the other week.
I thought I ovulated early (on Monday) going by my RHR, but I've been getting AF pains the last few days & feeling abit wet. If my cycle goes back to normal this month then I'd be due to ovulate sun/mon this wk. So I caved earlier & just bought Boots own ovulation strips & did one a couple hours ago. There control line was definitely a fair bit darker than the test line. So I'm not in an LH surge. But my question is.... if I've ovulated already would I still get a pink line? Or would it be blank with only a control line? I don't know how the test strips work🙈
If I have already ovulated then I'd be 4DPO today. Everything is up in the air this month because I never used the Clearblue digital ovulation stick as I didn't know when I'd ovulate so didn't want to waste loads of sticks🙉
So next week you'll be looking for an implantation dip for yourself 🤞🏻
@bwfcchick88 sorry you're still in limbo, such a pain in the ass for you!😣
@Blossom428 @AnxiousAnnie86 hope you ladies are all good xx

Chlo2701 · 25/09/2020 16:19

This was my ovulation strip x

TTC - Thread 2- a lucky one!
Blossom428 · 25/09/2020 16:33

That's strange you've got the line on opk, mine usually goes back to blank again after I have ovulated @Chlo2701 .... sometimes you do get another estrogen surge through the LP though, so it could be that.
Unless like you say, you haven't actually ovulated yet.
Maybe just DTD over the time you thought you may ovulate too, to cover basis.
And like you say don't put too much pressure on yourself .

I'm on cd5 now. AF come to an end. Not predicted to hit my FW untill next weds ish... so will probs start OPKs from Monday just to be safe, with all these early ovulations haha

OP posts:
Chlo2701 · 25/09/2020 16:44

@Blossom428 haha! Yes well seems people are having early ovulations this month. But then maybe I haven't ovulated & I will ovulate in the next few days then. Like I said I can't be sure as didn't use my CB this month, only went by my RHR. Well if yours goes blank after ovulation I don't think I have ovulated yet then, so I'll get bonking this wknd🤣x

TheOrangeMonster · 25/09/2020 17:45

@Chlo2701 some ladies can have very trace levels of LH present all month which are high enough for the OPKs to pick up, it's not particularly unusual. If I did one on cd3 I'd have a faint line!

@Blossom428 yeah - I would with the rest of us all popping them out early! Just in case 🤣🤣🤣

Trying4one · 26/09/2020 14:17

Looks like I have finally got my surge. I suspected my body would do this rather then go up gradually 🤣🤦

TTC - Thread 2- a lucky one!
TheOrangeMonster · 26/09/2020 16:18

@Trying4one great news - that's very normal actually - see graph of typical LH surge - so good news. Get bonking!

TTC - Thread 2- a lucky one!
Trying4one · 26/09/2020 16:27

@TheOrangeMonster I am just relieved that I am ovulating ok to be honest. There was part of me that worried that I didnt ovulate every month as I sometimes get cues and sometimes I don't from my body
