Hello! Hope I can join in on here after reading for a few months. Tried without tracking anything for the past few months (As everyone told me how easy it is and to just let it happen) but nothing did! So I ordered OPKs and Clearblue Ovulation tracker and got a static smiley this morning - just so happy to see that at this moment in time! Fingers crossed!

@hereforallthehelp welcome!! Exciting news on the static! I was so happy when I first saw mine!! I think we can all confirm, it ain't that easy! X

@TheOrangeMonster shit I'm so sorry love!! Completely understand that you're devastated & gutted!! Like you said take some time off for yourself. Really hope it happens for you soon whatever route you decide to go down. Sending you big hugs. TTC is probably one of the worst most stressful things is women go through.
@AnxiousAnnie86 you definitely can't count yourself out yet, but I get why you feel like that, after trying for so long & it not being successful it's just easier to think negatively sometimes, it's as though thinking like that almost won't make it feel as gutting when AF comes
@WaitingForEgg sounds like you're just as confused as I am! After saying I don't have the brown CM in my knickers I've had a tiny bit this afternoon. It's like my body is playing tricks on me! If it's AF starting I just wish it would hurry up & put me out my misery! As this never happens, I normally just go straight into AF, which is why this cycle I'm now clinging onto that little bit of hope, but no doubt this will be the cycle where everything is different & AF will still come. I just find it hard to believe that I could possibly be pregnant this month
after over a year of disappointment 🤷‍♀️
When are you thinking of testing then or you just going to see if the bitch arrives?

@Chlo2701 think I’m just going to wait. My last cycle was 35 days so I think I’d wait til at least then. Currently cd27 so I “shouldn’t” have AF yet but so much cramping!

@AnxiousAnnie86 honestly weirdly happy about it. I’ve only done 6 days of OPKs and they were all low so I had a high this morning and then did the clearblue to confirm! It’s really not as easy as everyone makes out - two friends literally fell pregnant on their first try and kept saying how easy it was etc etc.

@Chlo2701 Haha that made me laugh - I’ve text him to start doing his lunges in preparation. 😉Although I’m feeling weirdly anxious now I know I’m due to ovulate that if it doesn’t happen I’ll 100% think something is wrong. Atleast I had the ‘not knowing when I’m ovulating’ excuse before? If that makes any sense at all?

@WaitingForEgg they say you can get AF like cramping but it's actually implantation cramping, so fingers crossed for you that it's that🤞🏻 but the cramping shouldn't be as strong as AF cramps. I'm still getting the niggly pain today, & went on the treadmill earlier & couldn't do it properly as felt like I kept getting this stitch like pain on my left side, it's all just so weird. It's messing with my head this cycle🙉
@hereforallthehelp hope he's doing his lunges & warming up for you😉 don't worry if it doesn't happen this time, & please don't think something is wrong if it doesn't happen, I've used OPKS quite a few times so i definitely know that I've DTD at the right time & it's still not happened, so please don't be hard on yourself if it doesn't work. The statistics are something like only a 20% - 25% of it actually working & the sperm meeting the egg even when everything is timed right if that makes sense x

@hereforallthehelp no don't worry about something being wrong even if you timed it right! We have done opks for 11 months and 💯 always cover all over bases over ovulation and I've still had no luck! X

@Chlo2701 I don’t remember getting it with my last pregnancy. But I was on holiday, totally distracted and wasn’t date watching whatsoever 🙈. It almost feels like my uterus is bloated. But I think it’s likely just AF. It’s just it’s been going on for 3 days now and no bleeding 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am a mum of 1 ( 7 ) and trying to conceive number 2 had a chemical pregnancy and now actively trying.
But DD wasn’t planned so didn’t have all this last time round !
I am 29 and have regular 26 day periods. I have just been using basic calculator to see when I might ovulate so not hopeful that our weekend of trying has done anything !

@Longestride25 hi👋🏼 is definitely recommend ovulation tests & not going by an app or anything as they're normally quite a few days out with predicting ovulation x

Well I was right! Just knew AF was coming so let the OH have sex with me tonight, as knew that would bring it on & put me out my misery. & bang just like I predicted she arrived immediately 🙈 another short cycle for me again 2 months in a row only 25 days so getting worried now! X

@Chlo2701 oh nooo I'm so so sorry!! 😩😩 is it your LP thats gotten shorter? X

@Longestride25 it's nothing to worry about if you ovulate say CD14 or before as then your LP is 11/12 days, so gives the egg chance to implant. My problem is I ovulate CD17 roughly which is only giving me an LP of 8 days, & that's not good as my womb lining is shedding, so if I did have a fertilised egg then it's getting washed away by my period & not getting chance to implant. Ideally women need an LP of 10 days or more. Having a short LP can be a sign of low progesterone & can be easily fixed by progesterone cream or suppositories. Hope I've explained it ok for you. & if you don't know what LP is it's your luteal phase, which is the time frame from ovulation until first day of your period.

@AnxiousAnnie86 yes🙉 normally a CD28 girl with a 11 day LP, but last month it came CD23 & this month CD25🤦‍♀️ but still ovulating around CD16/17! So not good. BUT..... this morning nothing so far on my pad. I had uncomfortable cramps last night & this morning but it's just not coming. The sex last night just brought down what was inside that brown pale pink stuff, & obviously looked quite abit & pretty slimy because of OH cum! Sorry lol! This has just never happened before & I don't know who to talk to. It's not bright red like my period is. I normally just go straight into AF. This will be my 3rd day today of thick pinky brown discharge if AF doesn't come. I've just checked my RHR again & it's gone up again not down🤷‍♀️x

@Chlo2701 this is so helpful! I didn’t know any of this - I’m ovulating day 19/20 and period due on 13/14th Sept so that’s quite late in the cycle isn’t it? Premom app said my ovulation should be a week before but I was just low?

@hereforallthehelp I never ovulate before cd22 and always have a 14 day LP, just my ovulation date that changes! Are your periods always regular x
