@TheOrangeMonster it's definitely something to consider! They seem to of regulated my cycles to 35 days on average, they could last up to 90 before!!! It just makes it all a bit more bearable
This is my third cycle on them, I think I will ovulate in the next few days! I will pop some info below,

You take Soy Isoflavones, like Clomid, on either CD (cycle day) 1-5 , 2-6, 3-7 , 4-8 or 5-9.
If you take soy Isoflavones during the later time bracket, for example CD5-9, you shall strengthen the egg that has already started growing producing a healthier egg. The earlier in your cycle you take It, the higher your chance of releasing multiple eggs but these eggs will not be as mature as the eggs grown from taking Soya later.
A lot of women will choose the middle cycle (3 -7) allowing time for a strong and healthy egg to develop without erasing the chance of a second egg being developed and released.

1-5 = you produce more eggs, and ovulate sooner, with a stronger ovulation.

2-6 = you produce more eggs that usual, but not as many as taking it 1-5. Eggs may be more mature, and ovulation will be slightly more strong than 1-5.

3-7 = The best of both worlds, a few more eggs, and all eggs will be strong & mature, and ovulation will be alot stronger than 1-5.

4-8 = No more eggs will be produced, but the ones already there, will be matured alot more than usual, and ovulation will be very strong. Ovulation may only be brought forward a teeny bit.

5-9 = You'll have one very mature strong egg, from the ones you already produced on your own. Ovulation will either happen when it usually does, or a few days later, but your egg will be of great quality.

The dose is really down to you but you should always use the lowest amount that works for you.
With Clomid the starting dose is 100mg. Soya Isoflavones are said to be half the strength of Clomid, so it makes sense for the starting dose to be 100mg.
The trouble with 100mg of soya is that the capsules tend to come as 40mg. So you have a choice of starting at 80mg.
Some women change the dose on different days. So they may start at 120mg for the first 3 days then give an extra boost for the last 2 days with 160mg or 200mg.

Thanks @AnxiousAnnie86 I will definitely try that. I’ve read some clinics studies this afternoon and it seems there are some documented benefits for some of the primary concerns of PCOS. Thank you so much for bringing it to my notice! 🙂

Chlo2701 · 22/08/2020 18:00

I've just written a massive post and lost it!!! FFS!!

Chlo2701 · 22/08/2020 18:07

I'm not going to write it all again!🙈 but @AnxiousAnnie86 I've just been to the toilet & had a fair bit of EWCM, so looks like I'm on track to ovulate tomorrow or Monday! Will be nice for us to be in the TWW together. I will jump OH tonight if he doesn't fall asleep🤦‍♀️ & we normally have a quickie Sunday morning so I should be covered, & then I'll try & do it Monday aswel 😆 I'm due on around fri 4th sept, as my LP normally stays the same.
@TheOrangeMonster I feel your pain hun, my last child took me 2 yrs to conceive & that was 11yrs ago, so I'm feeling it's going to take that long if not longer this time. It's been over a year now trying to conceive my third child, & I'm 35 so worried that my eggs are abit shit. If your cycles are all whack then you should definitely look into the soy the @AnxiousAnnie86 is telling you about. I've read some positive stories about them.
Right ladies I'm feeling abit moody today so time for some drinks so I can relax & get in the mood to seduce the OH, might have to start with a blow job 🤣🤣🤣🤣x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 22/08/2020 18:45

@TheOrangeMonster you are welcome, I really think it may help you! If nothing else it gives you the feeling of I'm trying something different! Which always gives me a little boost! If you have any questions about it just let me know, I'm on month three of taking but researched it so so much before starting to take it x

@Chlo2701 my ewcm has gone!! It's watery now which I do tend to get in the day or two before, I did buy pressed but worried about using it in case it feels awful 🙈🙈 I feel so so moody today too! Going to have to snap out of it! X

Chlo2701 · 22/08/2020 19:02

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm glad you've mentioned the pre seed! You've just reminded me that I have some sort of fertility gel that my cousin gave to me months ago! So I'm going to use that tonight if I remember! I've never used anything like that before, as heard mixed reviews that it can kill sperm, but the way I look at it is it's something new so why not?! I've bonked all around my ovulation before & it's not worked lol so I might aswel introduce something new this cycle. If you're ewcm has gone then surely you're going to ovulate in the next day or so! X

Chlo2701 · 22/08/2020 19:03

@AnxiousAnnie86 let's use the gel together lol £ we can compare!!

TheOrangeMonster · 22/08/2020 19:29

@AnxiousAnnie86 @Chlo2701 I’ve used Preseed a lot because I rarely get EWCM, it’s fine (but I always find it cold!) it’s a bit watery though, I always get it everywhere....
It’s designed not to kill sperm.

Annie I get what you mean about trying something new - sometimes it gives you back a bit of control.

TheOrangeMonster · 22/08/2020 20:18

Also does anyone here know anything about cervices? I’ve only paid any attention to mine over the last 3 cycles and I’ve noticed that when I’m approaching Ovulation it goes way up where I can barely reach it, and really soft. Then, after, it comes back down and goes really hard. Well, it’s come back down, but it’s still really soft. Should I think anything of it?

AnxiousAnnie86 · 22/08/2020 20:20

@TheOrangeMonster sorry I don't know anything about that.... not something I've ever tracked:(

Does preseed actually help though? Or is it just a good option of lubricant is required?! X

Chlo2701 · 22/08/2020 20:20

@TheOrangeMonster I've read so many threads where ladies say to not take any notice of it all, it means nothing x

TheOrangeMonster · 22/08/2020 21:24

Thanks both. I’m glad about that, it seemed like something that could just add to the confusion. @AnxiousAnnie86 I think there is an opinion that it can help if you have no natural lubricant. I use it because I get very dry (sorry tmi) and normal lube does kill/impede sperm. Obviously nothing is better if you have adequate CM/arousal fluid.

Mamainmaking1 · 22/08/2020 23:59

How is everyone doing?

I am around 5dpo over here, nothing much going on but I have just started procieve vitamins and I took my first asprin tonight and I have upped my own levothryoxine dose as it being low is apparently one of the biggest causes of MC and gp isn't repeating it for 3 months after saying it was put of whack 🙈. Got pure pomegranate juice also to start tomorrow so throwing everything at it this month and keeping my fingers crossed.

Only dtd for the two days before peak and day of peak, didn't do it day of ovulation or day after which I usually would which I'm kicking myself for now.

What stage is everyone else at?

WaitingForEgg · 23/08/2020 00:42

I’m currently cd18 and not ovulating yet. I think I should around cd21 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Thing is my sticks get darker but I don’t know if I definitely ovulate

Blossom428 · 23/08/2020 07:59

Hi all,

Gosh 1 day off and lots of exciting things to catch up on haha.

I'm 8dpo! And temp is still up which is amazing for me.

@AnxiousAnnie86 soooo happy you got your flashing!! Have you had a other this morning?

@Chlo2701 hope you are somewhere near too! Have you had A flashy this morning? I keep wondering about the presseed and whether to try it. Never normally use lube, but then I sometimes struggle to see/find ewcm.

@WaitingForEgg do you temp? Hopefully you will peak soon!

@TheOrangeMonster Hi, welcome!! Yes I'm 8dpo now, is opposite to you, I have very short cycles. Ovulated on cd12 this month, and I have a v short luteal phase usually lasting 8/9 days, started taking vit b6 to try push it back a bit so I'm hoping this cycle it has- especially if my temp is still up today.
Have you had any symptoms? My boobs are a little sore and I have had weird twinges below my hips- but I'm just sick of thinking things because PMS is so similar and likes to play tricks on me!! I'm also like you (although only came off the pill in April) but I've not had a vvfl or tbh even got to the stage where I can test because of my short LP. So hoping this maybe the month.

Blossom428 · 23/08/2020 08:00

@Mamainmaking1 it sounds like you've defo covered your FW with when you did DTD so I wouldn't worry!! I hate the first week of the 2WW, so boring HHaha

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/08/2020 08:46

@Blossom428 yes another flashing this morn, my ava and premom are predicting I will ovulate Tuesday so if that's correct I will get static tomorrow.... I'm not sure though I have a feeling after all this waiting for a flashing I'm going to end up seeing a lot of them! I'm back to getting lots ewcm now too!

8dpo!!! You are soooooo close!!! Is it two days till (hopefully not) Af?! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/08/2020 08:47

@Mamainmaking1 I think doing it before actual ovulation is better as there is sperm there ready and waiting for the egg?! Fingers crossed for you!!! X

Blossom428 · 23/08/2020 09:17

I hope Ava has predicted right, then it will be so good to go off for next time! @AnxiousAnnie86

Well last cycle I started spotting 9dpo- so would be tomorrow, then AF came in full swing on 10dpo.
Even if AF turned up on tues/ weds I would be happy knowing the b6 has increase my LP for future!
Boobs are feeling more sore today- but not my nipples that some people say are more sensitive. Still a high temp is a good sign for me though.

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/08/2020 09:27

@Blossom428 I think it differs, when I was pregnant the first time it was my nipples they were agony and my armpits! then the second it was my boobs they were so painful and rock hard!!! X I think I won't symptom spot for anything apart from sickness as when I've been pregnant before i have genuinely felt sick from a week before period due x horrific unbearable sickness

Chlo2701 · 23/08/2020 10:13

Ahhhh ladies help!!!!!!!! So..... we didn't DTD last night as he did fall asleep while watching a film🙄 but we did do it this morning, but I'm now worried I've missed it🤦‍♀️ so yesterday I had blank circle & had EWCM, but this morning CB OPK was peak! So for all I know I could of ovulated in the night, in which case the sperms not there to meet the egg😣
When you get EWCM isn't that the day you ovulate? I've just got this bad feeling I've missed it, & would it be peak if I ovulated in the night? I'm so confused. Also here's my RHR chart & I don't know what I'm really for so can you ladies shed any light please?

TTC - Thread 2- a lucky one!
Chlo2701 · 23/08/2020 10:15

@Blossom428 I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you don't start spotting🤞🏻 @AnxiousAnnie86 hows you RHR looking? X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/08/2020 10:25

@Chlo2701 I don't think you'd of gotten a peak yest aft and ovulated in the night? I think it's most likely you will ovulate at some point in the next day! I get ewcm for like a week before I ovulate..... think it's hard to tell from resting heart rate until about a week after and can see a pattern.... mines been down last two days from what it has been, I think if you dtd this morning then you will be fine, I would try to again tonight or tomorrow morning and I think you'll more then cover it xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 23/08/2020 10:26

@Chlo2701 this is mine, pulse rate is same as hearttate on ava I think I will hopefully get peak tomorrow x

TTC - Thread 2- a lucky one!
Blossom428 · 23/08/2020 11:15

@Chlo2701 that's exactly what happened with me this month! So I just dtd that morning and then the following morning! The egg does stick around for 12-24 hrs so I'm sure it will cover.

@AnxiousAnnie86 Yeahh.. I'm trying not to symptom spot. This month I'm doing quite well at not getting my hopes up and going with the flow. So we shall see. Hopefully no spotting tomorrow 🤞🏽🤞🏽
