@NamechangeTTC oh ok. And yes you can ovulate 12-36hours after peak test but the pains can start before and last up to a few days so its possibly an indication that ovulation is impending.

I’m not sure this ov pain I’m feeling is normal 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s all across the bottom of my stomach and it feels soooo swollen, I can’t lean against the sink, I can’t press on it, I can’t sit down or stand up without agony
Not had it like this before but then I’ve never had 2 days of positive opks before
If it’s not gone tomorrow I’ll be going the doctors as this is odd and painful

Opk still positive at 5pm but the same as the control line instead of darker like it has been so I think it’ll be negative tomorrow

No I opted for the afternoon test 🤣🤣🤣 like I have a choice from a menu lol!!! And I got a negative on easy@home and indent on the femometer tests...... soooooo what I am saying is its not going too hot at the moment.

Also thinking I may need to take a step back next cycle... think with returning to work it will hopefully make me not so obsessed. I cant be testing this much honestly its starting to make me nuts.

I am seriously thinking next cycle i am going to keep my opks and give my stash of pg tests to my husband (not like there will be much left the way I am testing) and I will have to actually ask him for a test. Because I think it will make me accountable if I am asking for it because I know he knows I am testing. I also think it will make me think before I act.

@Boc86 i had those pains yesterday. My ovulation is always awfully painful. I don't get AF pain though at all which is odd.

@candycrush2298 how do you keep getting indents? 2 in 2 days, are you sure its not a positive?
I understand your thought process though and may actually help if your not stressing (thats what everyone says anyway) lol.
I'm not happy in my job at the moment so debating putting things on hold for abit if this month doesnt work out and finding a new job. I've hung on there for the last year because our maternity package is really good but as we've still have no joy i can't keep putting my life on hold.

If I was you, id just use all the tests haha!! Hubby doesn't need to know about your obsession 🤣🤣🤣

@Kaybobx can't even see this one took like 6 million photos and yeah I often get indents i put it down to my bright yellow pee from the vitamins no idea why I really get them hahaah. And if they weren't indents wouldnt every test I take have a line? You know what I mean?

Awwwww my friend did that she stayed in a job she really hated for the maternity and security but she decided she needed to get away from the stress of the job. She has been trying for over 6 years. She eventually changed jobs and now is starting the process for ivf. She has been with the new company a year now and loves her new job so think she is in a much better mental space.
Its tough when you don't really like your job, do you think you can put off ttc for a couple of months to find the new job and then get settled there first?

Yeah I am just thinking about this all the time when I need to do more me time things. I love reading and watching series which I am just not doing. Friday was the first time I pampered myself in months 100% think its time to climb out the rabbit hole I jumped down.

With me actually having to wear make up get dressed and see other humans everyday I hope it will bring some semblance of normalcy.

As for the tests lol dont think there will be much anyway 🤣🤣🤣

I just want a job i enjoy, the thought of having to get up at 4.30am tomorrow makes me feel so meh! These unsocialable shifts and feeling stressed all the time won't be doing anything for my conception.
Ive started applying for a few jobs so will just see how this month pans out.

@Snapple21 I have absolutely no idea haha! I thought i ov 2 days ago but I'm still peaking. Will see what my temperature chart does in the morning, hopefully that will give some more indication.

@snapple21 its literally just so light that the camera couldn't even pick it up and it has absolutely no colour even though it came up in the time frame. Its like grey in real life. So annoying.
But we can always have hope. So thank you lets see only a few more days and AF is due.

Thats so exciting. Do you use FMU for the monitor? How does that work when you on nightshift lol does the monitor let you test even though its not in the window you selected or do you have to change the testing time window?

@Kaybobx I don't know its only two tests this cycle the others were all negative so I am thinking there's no way some tests can be "positive" and others neg you know.
Maybe some tests I can just see where the dye is supposed to be more than other tests 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah i think your job is where you spend so much of your time that you should be happy in it. Really hope something else comes up for you. I can imagine the hours are pretty crazy and must effect you.

@candycrush2298 yeah i get you. I know exactly where the line should be on the tests so my eyes just see things. I had 2 faint lines last month (well I didn't as AF came) but i was confident they were there. Line eyes is an actual condition haha!!

My hair has been in a bun too! My hair dresser asked me to send photos of my hair earlier as i have an appointment Friday. Quite possibly the most embarrassing moment of my life. My hair looks disgusting, I've totally let myself go hahaha!

Yeah defo with the job. Hubby has been working from home alot and just listening to him ive been like, i want a job like that, i want to have that banter and relationship with people. I've been thinking about it for a year now, i just need go take the jump.

Lol are you sure yours wasn't a chemical? I mean I always sworn by FRER and felt it was the best of the best when it came to pg tests but I have just seen so many people getting false positives with them. But do you really think yours was a false positive or a chemical???

Whahahaaha omg thank goodness my hair dresser hasn't asked such horrific questions. Whahahaha. At least you will have your hair done which will make you feel like a new person on your birthday weekend what a great way to spend it feeling like a girl again lol!!

As for the job vs baby yeah I totally feel you on that hahahaha. I would want the baby too. But if you have been giving it thoughts for about a year sounds like you ready to take the jump. Let's hope that you find that dream job ASAP!! Unless you conceived this cycle then stay where you are whahaahhaa

@candycrush2298 I've not even looked at any other threads. I joined this one for the first time on mumsnet and never looked at another. Look at that for commitment haha! We all just gelled so well.

@Boc86 ive felt so swollen and pained too. I couldn't of BD last night even if i wanted to, i felt sooo sensitive. I feel ok tonight, its just moved to my lower back abit but I'm with you how painful it is.

@Boc86 oh no that really sounds terrible I dont really know all the things that could be wrong with a woman during ovulation but yeah maybe just give the gp a call for peace of mind doesnt sound normal - well to me anyway. I know everyone is different.
