Space for anybody like me who's taken a test and hoping they're not imagining a line!

I'm 11dpo.... AF due Saturday 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 hoping this line gets stronger!

13dpo today and I have no tests left, AF was due yesterday but no signs yet. To make matters harder my DS is unwell and showing covid symptoms so we all have to isolate til we get his test results back! Not sure when I'll get to test now 😅

@Teapotdespot tbh that would make more sense than anything else right now! My GP had no insight but I might call back up tomorrow and ask to be referred to a midwife.

I only have one cb digi in the house which I won't waste. I've continued to have negatives. Im on 13dpo today, I plan to use the digital on Tuesday morning and then if I dont get anything I will book a drs appt. I am now 3 days late for AF and I am never late. I am a little worried about ectopic preg, because I have been getting random faint positives and all.negatives around it and i have right side cramping and keep throwing up. My mum had an ectopic and lost a tube, so it does make me alert. To be honest I think the sickness is just anxiety, this whole experience has made me feel so anxious. Im usually so level headed but since I got that fain positive at 7/8dpo I have just been frantically hoping to see it again. It was a cruel trick of the tests to show me a faint line again on 11dpo, then nothing again since.

@BKone I can definitely understand why you are anxious. I've also had glimmers and faint positives, it's crap. If it was all BFN I think I would be more relaxed. My pain is left sided but it really feels like cyst pain which I always get on this side.

If you are concerned AT ALL I would call your doctor, it is better to be safe than sorry especially if you have been sick. Have you got a temperature at all?

I started bleeding today :-( day17 of cycle... still just as confused... gonna try and hold off from doing another test for a few days but I think I already know what the result will be tbf

@mrschips07 thank you. 14 dpo today, still no sign of AF, tempted to hack my tits off with a kitchen knife, they have never been so sore! I think AF might come today. If not by Wednesday, I'll go to the doctors and ask for a checkup for this right sided pain.

How are you getting on?

@BKone I'm pretty much identical to you. No AF yet and still very sore boobs. They've definitely never been this sore before (apart from when pregnant) but I've been getting tummy pains but they feel like muscular aches, kind of high up closer to my ribs. If I had tests right now I'd definitely be testing!

@Mrschips07 are muscular pains a preg symptom? I had the same today in the shower. I've also weed 7 times already today. I am actually starting to wonder if I might have developed a UTI from the anxiety because when I need to go, I need to go quite urgently and not much comes out. x

Weeing more often is definitely a thing. I'm sick of the site of my downstairs bathroom door!

@BKone Not sure, but I think they can be. I remember having a weird tense feeling in my stomach with my first before I got a positive test - back then I knew 100% I was pregnant. I'm not sure why the lack of confidence this time! Prob all the faint lines!

Hello ladies. Have started to get some pink when I wipe, so i think this is the start of AF. Just went back to bed for a bit to have a bit of indulgent sobbing, feeling better for allowing myself to feel sad and disappointed. For anyone reading this thread in the future....firstly, back away from the piss sticks. They cause nothing but anxiety. Let it be. Secondly, after you've likely ignored point 1, if you don't get the outcome you're hoping for, make sure you make a bit of space for some sadness, even if just a good cry on your own, before mentally moving onto the next cycle, to really start a fresh. x

if you don't hear from me again, you can assume It was 100% AF. Next cycle I am going thermometer, lh test and forum free i think. Just need to have a month of not feeling crazy. X

@BKone I'm so sorry to hear that. It never gets easier when AF arrives, especially when you had a real glimmer of hope that this may be your month. I used to try to remind myself that every month when AF arrived, it meant it wasn't long until we could start trying again. Your turn will come, I've no doubt. Be kind to yourself and I agree, a month without thinking about it and reading forums filled with people getting their BFPs isn't a bad thing. Don't ever be afraid to feel and be upset, at the end of the day it's shit and you're allowed to think it's shit and feel really bloody sorry for yourself. The journey is tough there's no denying it, but it's worth it in the end so don't lose faith as before you know it it'll be your turn and you'll wonder why you worried so much!

@BKone I'm so sorry to hear that AF caught up with you love. It's such a rocky ride this TTC business. Just echoing what @mrsmummy1111 so elequently put, just be kind to yourself for a bit, chocolate, takeaway and some distraction always helps me. We'll be here if you need us.

@mrsmummy1111- thanks for your kind words. I'll get there eventually. Even if you can't see why sometimes, the things that come along always do at the exact right time I think. I've learned a lot of lessons from this time on what not to do in the tww! Thanks again for the support.

Ive been getting really strong positives and got 2-3 weeks on CB digi 2 days ago.

I did a boots test last night, test line was darker than the control line so i was happy.

Stupidly did a test today FRER and the whole test is fainter, including the control line. I used another (probably same batch as picked up 2 as the same time) and this was the same.
The test line probably isnt any fainter than the control line, but its got me worried its another chemical (ive had 2, 4 losses in total).

What do you think? Im hoping the dye quantity is less but im worried

First pic is FRER and boots on top were yesterday, the bottom 2 are todays (and what is making me worry)

Second pic is FRER at top was yesterdays and the bottom was today

Hello, looking at the test I would say there is less dye in the test that you are worried about. Try not to worry as those are still really strong lines. The only other thing it could be (if not yet it may happen) is the hook effect x

Hi everyone! Congratulations to all with BFP!

Can you help me? 8dpo and been getting almost positive OPKs so decided to do a HCG test. Can anybody see a faint line?

A very obvious line @mumof23188 ! Mine was the exact same at 8DPO and I got a digital BFP at 9DPO!

Hi @Bearsmum15, huge congrats on the BFP!
I've said this before and I really hope you take this in the (reassuring) tone it's meant, but please step away from the sticks.
Line progression is as far away as it's possible to get from an accurate science. With all due respect, it sounds as though your body is giving you absolutely no reason to suspect that anything is untoward. No bleeding or severe cramping??
The only thing continually taking pregnancy tests is going to do is make you stressed and worried, two things that are proven to be detrimental in conceiving and early pregnancy.
Your period is late, you've got a positive pregnancy test, you're pregnant.
My advice is to take a step back and try to enjoy your pregnancy until you're body gives you a reason not to.

We are all guilty of taking pregnancy tests before a missed period (myself included!!!) but FRER have a lot to answer for, as before tests like this people simply didn't know about CP.

The best thing for you and your baby is to not give yourself unnecessary stress and anxiety worrying about what may or may not happen, and your pregnancy will or won't progress regardless of what these tests say. Try to stay positive and relaxed, and out the sticks down.

I also needed to read this - thank you for posting.
I got BFP on Friday at 11dpo with CB early test, tested again at 12dpo and same strength of line, tested at 13dpo and it was fainter. So I did a digital one on same day and it showed 2-3 weeks pregnant.
I've now stepped away from the tests as its driving me insane. Period would have been due today and no show, so I'm going to accept that until my body tells me otherwise, I am in fact pregnant.
I just wish I could switch off that worry and just relax and enjoy what should be a special time!

@mrsmummy1111 thank you for confirming I am not crazy!! I’ve never tested this early before! Will test again in the morning!
