Space for anybody like me who's taken a test and hoping they're not imagining a line!

I'm 11dpo.... AF due Saturday 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 hoping this line gets stronger!

Thanks everyone. It is horrible. I just can't understand all the negatives I have had around the 3 faint positives, including sincr that one I posted last, on frer and ic's. I have just vowed to myself I will not test again until Tuesday, which will be day 32. I have had one cycle this year of 31 days, so that will officially be my longest length between AFs. All other cycles have been 28 days.

@BPT2019 - I have tried AMU's! And afternoon and evenings too!

It's awful isn't it? I keep getting faint positives for days which aren't darkening and haven't had AF so I'm driving myself crazy! Hope yours get darker and you get your BFP soon 😊

Hi all. I'm now CD 26, 12 dpo (this test was done yesterday afternoon at 11 dpo). Slight nausea and tiredness but no other symptoms. 2nd cycle off the pill, only dtd once in the fertile period. Period due either Tues or Wed of next week (still not sure if I'm a 28 or 29 day cycle).

My initial excitement yesterday had now changed to anxiety that this might not be a sticky one, given I'm only CD 26. I know this is a strong line but I don't want to get my hopes up. When would a positive test be definite confirmation??

Hey guys. Hope you don’t mind me joining - not sure if I can add a photo but got a BFP on FRERS, and a lighter positive with a cheapy. What I can’t understand is I got it 9 days after my period ended and a day before I was even scheduled to ovulate!!!

Can’t make head nor tale of it... my cycle is usually 28 days but if this is right then my cycle this month was 20 days??? And is it plausible to get a BFP 9 days after conception? I’m baffled

12dpo today, took this with SMU. Probably clutching at straws. What do you guys think?

@Mrschips07 that photo is hard to see. But clear blue are the least sensitive right? So I wont even touch these until another week or so!

@Mama1993 Sorry your post is a little confusing. What do you mean you're cycle was 20 days? If you're pregnant then you don't really know how long your cycle was....as it never ended (as in, your period won't come if you're pregnant). If you got a BFP 9 days after your period ended, then how long was your period? Yes it's possible to get a BFP 9 days after conception, but if you haven't ovulated yet then how do you know how many days post conception you are? I'll try to help but can you clarify what you mean as I'm a bit baffled myself 😊😊😊

My period was 4 days and had bad cramping. OH was away so didn’t get to see him until day 5 of cycle. BFP on a HPT on day 13 of cycle after

having multiple positive OPK tests... I guess I’m just wondering how possible it would be to ovulate on day 5 of my cycle, seems much too early as I always ovulate on day 14 in the past! But no other explanation makes sense either...

@Mrschips07 i can’t see anything in that photo but it’s so much harder to see from a photo! Hope you get a positive soon x

Also - AF isn’t due for another 13 days so confused about the bfp 😕

Thanks for clarifying! @Mama1993 So when you say you got a positive on day 13 of cycle after, do you mean 13 days from when your cycle began or 13 days from when your cycle ended (day 5)? If it's 13 days after your cycle ended, then technically it'd be CD 19 that you got a positive on HPT, is that correct? When did you DTD? Only on day 5? It sounds like what happened is you just ovulated very early. What made you take a HPT if you didn't think you'd even ovulated yet?
I agree it's a tricky one but I usually trust FRER's bought from a pharmacy / supermarket etc. If you bought it from eBay / Amazon however, I would try to take another bought from a store. A simple search on here will show you hundreds of women with false positive on internet bought fake FRERs.

Hey ! Sorry I mean day 1 being the first day of my period.. so 13 days from when cycle began.

I guess I was confused because all of my ovulation tests were coming back positive and after googling it , I found out it could be because I’m pregnant and turns out I am.

That’s so horrible about the fake positives! How outrageous. Mine was from boots so i trust the test, just don’t trust my body

@Mama1993 If the test was from Boots then I'd definitely trust it! I've ovulated very early and very late before, not quite as early as 5 DPO but if your test is positive then enjoy it and just wait and see about your dates when you can get a scan down. Congrats, thrilled for you!

@Mama1993 maybe what you thought was AF was in fact implantation bleeding and your actually about 6 weeks pregnant? Either way congrats on you BFP! 😊

I thought this @PinkRoseFlower ! Is the line quite prominent @Mama1993 ?

Scan went well, gestational sac visible and measuring fine for 5 weeks, which would correlate to my ovulation dates despite my LMP placing me at 6 weeks :)

Thank you @PinkRoseFlower it did cross my mind that it could be that but it was quite heavy and for a good 3-4 days. Also I took the CB digi test and it said 1-2 weeks... but I know they aren’t always accurate...

But I’m not ruling it out! Stranger things have happened! The line on the FERS Is very prominent and the one on the cheapy is faded, but if there is any line on the cheap one 13 days before next period then maybe you’re both right and it was implantation bleeding? Because it would be unlikely to get a bfp on a standard test this soon right?

A woman’s body is a very myserious thing 😅

Was that a private scan? I really want to book one too. I rang GP yesterday to say I'd had a positive test and I wanted to make an appointment to confirm and they said we don't do that, we just book you in for an 8 week check up at the end of September. I can't wait another 6 weeks to know if all is well, especially as I've has a molar pregnancy in the past. Wondering how soon I can book a private scan for reassurance...

I've just had a surge of hopefulness. I feel so weird. My usual pre AF headache has gone, and that usually always only happens with AF arrival, no proper BFP's but also no AF. I feel sick, I've been sick, the cramping is next level, everything I think about eating makes me want to throw up, and, the emotions have subsided and im now in a good mood! I feel like the hormones are getting stronger but there is still no sign of a line. What IF my previous very faint lines were actually evaps or surges and my stable bfp is yet to come... keeping up the hope friends. If anyone else is stil holding out for AF or BFP in the next 48 hours, join me! X

@BKone Thats the spirit! Sounds really promising. I'm still waiting... 12dpo today, the day where most people get a BFP! I am still getting nothing. AF is due today and no sign at all shes on her way. Boobs sore and rock hard, yellow creamy cm.

When are you testing next?

@LouJ85 no it wasn’t private, it was an NHS scan due to bleeding and one sided pain last week. They’re scanning me weekly now.

Am I seeing stuff here or is this another faint line??? It definitely looks blue in person, just v faint but well hydrated with the heat. Surely I can’t get 2 evaps days apart? 🤯🤯🤯

ahh ok. I wonder if they would do that if you have a history of miscarriage? I'll ring docs Monday I think.

@Mrschips07 I think I'm going to try and hold out until Tuesday now. That will be cd32 and the longest I've ever gone between periods. My usual length is 28, today is cd29, I've had one cycle this year (april) of 31 days but the rest have been 28. When are you testing next?
