Did anyone have success (or failure) with pre-seed, conceive plus etc?

Did anyone have success with either of these?

If so, how long were you TTC for before you used?

(And, out interest, did you have a boy or a girl? I read pre-seed means you’re more likely to get a boy! Wondered if - anecdotally - that might be the case...)

I used conceive plus, had been trying for 3 months and was really annoyed that it hadn't happened yet.

Likely a coincidence but the month we used it is the month I fell pregnant. With a girl though!!

Used pre seed conceived within 6 weeks and we had a girl. I'd use it again next time for sure.

I used pre-seed the month I conceived, it could have been a coincidence, but I guess I'll never know! I'm also having a girl.

Tried for nine months, used preseed and conceived two months later with a boy. Second time used it straight away and fell first time. Also a boy

I was trying for two years. Used preseed and I was pregnant after the first cycle of use. Probably just a coincidence - had a boy!

AF arrived today for us. 18 months ttc. I've been researching preseed for a few days. For some reason we're in a positive mind set despite the sadness so I'm actually feeling OK. Set a plan for the month ahead. And we'll see... I've never tried anything like preseed before!

For those that started using preseed can I ask were you using other lubricants before that weren't fertility friendly? Or do they have something in them that helps?

We had been ttc for about 4 yrs, tried pre seed by itself for 3 months while waiting for my next gynea appointment. Then pre seed with clomid for 6 months while waiting for referral to IVF clinic. Pre seed didn't work for us, but we were at a point where I felt I had to try everything possible, and it wasn't doing any harm. Good luck

@Bells3032 I've never used lubricant before and have no particular orobs with dryness. But hey ill try anything this far down the line...

Trying for four months, nothing...used preseed for three and still nothing. Had acupuncture on month eight and fell pregnant that month (with a girl). Could have just been coincidence with the acupuncture though.

That’s interesting, Malta! May also try acupuncture too. Want to try everything at this point!

We used preseed and got pregnant with 2 months - tbh I think we were just lucky (and timed dtd well). Having a girl.

We’ve been using conceive plus for the last two cycles no success yet. Still going to keep trying with it though!

I ordered it to try this month but only used it once and only a little bit at that. I thought it was just to prevent dryness/friction. Does it actually help to conceive?

It’s supposed to mimic the egg white cervical mucus, I think!

I had a ep last July and was told not to try again for 3 months. Any way being the impatient person I am, I didn't wait for three months but nothing happened on my first few cycles. Then I tried the conceive plus lubricant and acupuncture and conceived straight away! Not sure if it was one or the other or both but it worked a treat! Baby girl due 15th July 🙂

Used it for 8 months and it didn't work for 7 of those (so unlikely to be the reason I fell pregnant on 8th cycle) and I'm having a girl.

Been trying for six months (had one ectopic in that time). Just bought conceive plus last month and am now in the TWW having used it for the first time this cycle. Will let you know!

I hope yous don’t mind me joining I am on cycle 3 TTC I have bought conceive plus to try this month I have never used lube so a bit apprehensive AF finished 3 days ago so going to try and DTD every other day from now until 2WW

I've been TTC for almost 9 months now following a MC last year.

This cycle is the first I've used pre seed!

I had a positive OV test yesterday so likely to OV today and then will be starting TWW. Will update what my result is!

Agree with the applicator being huge haha! Also found it hard to get the lube into the applicator as well, I had to hold the syringe bit while DP squeezed the tube so was a bit awkward to say the least.

Really hoping it helps. As it turns out, I did notice yesterday that even though I got a positive OV test I really haven't had any EWCM at all recently so hoping that the pre seed helps!
