Congratulations to @SK2970 who had just posted a positive test!

(Point me in the right direction if I've missed a new thread)

So glad you’re feeling positive @1992EM I have everything crossed for you! I’m CD28 and my chart is now finally showing ovulation and it matches when I got my peak OPK.. so I’m 3DPO and AF is now due 8th August and this will be a 40 day cycle.. that chemical pregnancy surely has messed my cycle up.

How is everyone else doing? X

I’m glad this thread is still a lucky one! And @Littlebee1990 really pleased to see your cycle is getting back on track.

This weekend was really confusing for me. AF early, lighter than usual and back just to spotting now. Very painful on Saturday but none of my other symptoms that usually accompany AF. I keep having the thought sneak into my head that it could still be implantation but I know it’s very unlikely - too much of it and it turned red in the end. Trying now to look forward to the next fw. Need to get some more grapefruit juice.

I hope the doctor is helpful for you @Fran2020! Next month will be ours!

Thanks @1992EM - no, I haven’t. I feel like it’s probably a waste of money! But I’m getting some more pain at the moment so I think I might give in and do one tomorrow, partly because I’m a bit worried about an ectopic.

@Dinosaurus86 that does sound strange, I'd definitely recommend a test, you never know.

Doctors said to ring back at 6 weeks so that was underwhelming 😂

@dinosaurus86 oh I really hope it is ectopic. Best to do a test though just to put your mind at ease 💕

@nottherealslimshady oh really !?! I can't believe they don't do blood tests and stuff . They literally let you go 12 weeks without checking your pregnant 🙈 I've already told my partner we will get an early scan if I get a bfp x

@1992EM yeah it's a bit scary isn't it, 3 months thinking you're pregnant and you could find out anything. It's all so much less clear and certain than I expected.

I expect it’s just a weird period but there’s a niggle in my mind!

@Nottherealslimshady will you have a private scan early?

@nottherealslimshady It is. Especially when it is your first and have no idea what is normal or not. Then you can't really tell anyone either so you are literally left with forums and Google 🤣. I wonder if they take bloods at the first midwife appointment at 8 weeks. I have decided I am going to test tomorrow as supposed to be meeting for drinks. I will be 13dpo and will be 3 days since spotting so hopefully if I am , then it will show by then. 🙈. I have early first response ones x

@Dinosaurus86 I'm not sure yet. I've rang the early pregnancy unit now, waiting for a call back 😂 so I'll see when I get booked in, screw waiting till 6 weeks!

@Littlebee1990 glad to see your cycle is working itself out! I was never able to stick to temping, so I love seeing other people's charts!

Question - should I be concerned my tests look about the same as yesterday? I know HCG doubles every 48 hours but shouldn't it still go up gradually in the meantime? My 11 dpo and 12 dpo tests are about the same - I wanted to see them darker :(

@kalecat I definitely see an increase. Especially in the second picture. It probably wouldn't be a drastic increase overnight so I wouldn't worry about that to much so long as there is still a line and no bleeding.

Thank you . I really hope I will be joining the BFPs but will have to wait and see . The fact I have no symptoms though I am not sure. The only thing is I usually have bad acne in the week leading up to AF and I have had nothing this month. That is the only thing I generally notice around AF time until it actually arrives.

@1992EM don't stress about the symptoms! I have almost zero symptoms and still got a BFP! It's early days - probably not enough HCG in the system to have dramatic symptoms yet.
We sound very similar. I also get hormonal acne on my forehead right before AF, and it didn't come this month!

@kalecat that is good to know . My oh is like you can't be , you aren't being sold 🤣 literally only thing that will convince him I could be. I already want it to be tomorrow. 🤣 then tomorrow will come and ill debate if I should or not 🙈.

@nottherealslimshady ah that's a bit crap that you have to wait!! You've waited already so long for the BFP and want to just make it official I bet!

@dinosaurus86 I know what you mean about the ridiculous thought that maybe AF is implantation.. I'm CD4 and AF is early and really light but obviously it's AF but can't help thinking hmmm but clearly it's AF haha.

Aaah congrats @Kalecat ! 🤩 exciting to see those lines get a bit darker - I can see it!

Just tested using fmu and it's a BFN not even a bit of a line. At 13dpo I am definitely out. I am actually heartbroken. I generally thought with the spotting I might have got lucky .😭

And if a BFN wasn't bad enough AF has just arrived 2 days early 😭. She really does love to rub salt in the wound . Only to cycle 4 ttc .
