I hope @littlebee1990 doesn't mind me starting a new thread as our old one was full...

Congratulations to @SK2970 who had just posted a positive test!

@nottherealslimshady Congratulations, I am sure it makes it so much more real when you see it in writing 💕.

10dpo here . Finally in double figures. 5 days until AF and testing. No symptoms to report. Have had a sore head since last night but don't think that is related.

mrswilso · 25/07/2020 09:52

Congratulations @Nottherealslimshady ✨💕
Chuffed to bits for you! Sending lots of sticky dust!

Dinosaurus86 · 25/07/2020 11:03

Ah, it’s good to see it in writing @Nottherealslimshady!

And thanks all - sorry, I was feeling quite upset last night. AF has definitely arrived early for me now. So disappointed given earlier symptoms but much the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. I’m sure something happened but has obviously failed again. I suppose at least this means I move onto the next cycle more quickly.

cd24x · 25/07/2020 11:28

Congratulations @Nottherealslimshady!!! Keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean!

Nottherealslimshady · 25/07/2020 11:48

@1992EM fingers crossed for you!

@Dinosaurus86 so sorry AF has shown :(

I'm still spotting, three days now, god I'm so anxious :/

mrswilso · 25/07/2020 11:56

Aw @Dinosaurus86 I'm so sorry 😞 x

Dinosaurus86 · 25/07/2020 12:05

From what I understand spotting is not particularly unusual @Nottherealslimshady, although very disconcerting. Is it bright red, if you don’t mind me asking? Fingers tightly crossed that all will be well.

Nottherealslimshady · 25/07/2020 12:21

@Dinosaurus86 thank you, it was very light pink but today it's brown. I dont feel particularly different, some very light cramping. I'm testing again monday with a weeks indicator and ringing the doctor if I dont start properly bleeding. It's just the idea that any second I'll feel it start and it'll be lost :(

Dinosaurus86 · 25/07/2020 12:43

@Nottherealslimshady that sounds positive. I get the worry though - mine was pink then brown and now red (and heavier), but I’ve had strong cramping too, which it sounds like you’ve escaped so that is a good sign! Hopefully it will just stop for you Flowers

Hi everyone! I just found very well organised group discussion. Well done to everyone who had a BFP!
My partner and I (same sex couple) have just finished our first cycle. Unfortunately it resulted to a chemical pregnancy and I can honestly say that IVF has been much harder emotionally than I anticipated. We are now focusing on the Skype call we will have with our doctor in 2 weeks to plan cycle 2. We keep going and stay positive! I am not what kind of experienced you received from your clinic, but I can tell you that our clinic support after embryo transfer has been non-existent, which we were quite surprised about. Obviously the Covid crisis is putting a strand on the system currently, but from what I read, it seems to be a standard issue from clinics.

Did you feel you receive good support from your clinic after embryo transfer?

Wow congrats @Nottherealslimshady !! 😊

Kalecat · 25/07/2020 13:47

Was dumb and tested with an IC this morning. I'm 10 dpo, AF due Wednesday. Not even a hint of a line. I feel so disheartened :(

@kalecat Sorry about BFN , there is nothing worse. It is still super early and today was the first day I could test at 10dpo according to the frer website. Try hold off until AF and hopefully if you are you will have a darker line 💕have you had anymore symptoms ? All mine seem to have stopped now .

@1992EM you're right, it is still early but I just thought if I did implant at 8dpo like I suspected, it would show up faintly by now.
It just sucks when you know you covered all your bases! DTD 4 days straight leading up to ov, and then DTD on ov day as well.
I really don't have any symptoms, just had more twinging late last night.

1992EM · 25/07/2020 14:00

@kalecat We are the same . This is the first month using opks so I know we did everything we possibly could. I have read you can impant until 12 dpo so trying to avoid testing till after that. What tests were you using?x

Nottherealslimshady · 25/07/2020 14:06

Thank you @Dinosaurus86 its settled down a bit now I think, haven't notice anything the last 8ish times I've peed in the past couple of hours 😂🤞

@Kalecat its still so early though! I got a BFN at 11dpo. Dont let it get you down.

Welcome @MurAn2020 sorry your first cycle didn't work out, fingers crossed for number 2 for you!

MurAn2020 · 25/07/2020 14:11

Thanks @Nottherealslimshady, fingers crossed for cycle 2. If I read this thread correctly - yours has been successful? if so, congratulations, it gives me so much hope!

1992EM · 25/07/2020 14:13

@MurAn2020 Sorry just noticed your message. Sorry it didn't work out for you this cycle. Hopefully you get you BFP next month 💕

Kalecat · 25/07/2020 14:29

@1992EM I used the fermometer cheapies, don't want to buy a FRER unless I see a line. They're super expensive where I live... $15 / £8.77 for ONE!

@Nottherealslimshady that's true, thanks for giving me a little bit of hope 😂

Fran2020 · 25/07/2020 15:02

@1992EM Thank you, so glad the doctor didn't dismiss me and will move things forward again. 💜

@Nottherealslimshady I bet it's so nice to see it written like that! Good luck for the weeks test on Monday.

@Dinosaurus86 So sorry that AF has arrived for you too 😔 This next cycle is our cycle!!! I always have spotting too (pinkish and brown) and I was so hopeful that this time it wouldn't turn in to AF but it did.

@Kalecat sorry about the test but it's still very early! Fingers crossed for next time.

1992EM · 25/07/2020 17:01

@kalecat are they sensitive tests ? I have got a couple of frers from last cycle that I am going to save until AF . Hopefully in a few days it will show a positive 💕 I will end up bankrupt if I keep buying
Frer 🤣.

@fran2020 Definitely, it will get the ball rolling for you and hopefully you get your BFP next cycle 💕

Kalecat · 25/07/2020 17:17

@1992EM no, these cheapies aren't very sensitive - they're 20 miu/mL compared to FRER which are 6.3 miu. I wish I had more patience lol.
