Hi guys 7th month TTC 9DPO today. I have just taken a test and don't know if it's my eyes or if I can see a faint line. Help what do you think ?? I've attached a pic 😊

Hi. I see it! I had a faint line on a cheapie at 9dpo a week ago. Took a FRER and it was strong and a digital confirmed 1 to 2 weeks. Unfortunately mine appears to be a chemical but definitely get a FRER. However I wouldn't recommend testing until AF is due personally, due to what I'm currently going through. Fingers crossed all works out!

@Spinksy9 Our time will come girly! Until then let’s make a promise that though shall not POAS until AF is royally late... saying that I was told to test when the bleeding stopped so will POAS tomorrow to confirm (even though I 100% know it’ll be negative) been thinking of you x

@Littlebee1990 I was told to POAS a week after bleeding. However I tested yesterday stupidly even though I'm still bleeding and it was darker than the morning before! But not testing until at least a week after the bleeding stops x

As AF has gone I think I'll start opks tomorrow so I can see the difference on the cheaper tests. Does it matter what time of day you test?

@1992EM I always tested my LH midday and afternoon. My morning ones were never that dark for some reason!

Hey girls, sorry for the radio silence had a busy week at work and then been binging Selling Sunset this evening I didn’t even realise how late it is!

I am CD7 today and so going to start OPK and SMEP tomorrow. AF due on the 29th July so going to hold off until august until I test. This is only my third cycle of TTC but I am literally trying everything this month really hoping we get lucky. Last month I used the CB digital OPK which was super helpful as my ovulation dates were different to what I expected. We only DTD twice last month as we were both working late and then at my parents when I got my peak which made it difficult, but this time round I’m definitely going to stick to SMEP. I’ve also brought some cheapos OPKs to do some extra tests once I get a high reading on my CB. I tried one out tonight and I can’t work out how to pee in a pot without peeing on my hand!! Please tell me there is a knack to it 🤣 also got my thermometer by my bed ready to do some temping tomorrow morning. I pulled out the instructions which were literally size A0 it made me actually LOL. What’s people’s views on temping? Is there any point to it if I’m doing OPKs?

No AF this morning...CD36. Feel nauseous. Still too nervous too test in case BFN. If AF is coming wish she’d hurry up.

@kate123cl thank you, I have just tested just now but still waiting for results. I won't be ovulating as one 1 day after AF has stopped, so just wanted to try it out. It will be much easier at night time as I didn't realise you have to wait 10 mins for results. This is also when we will be dtd so probably more accurate. I may start testing twice when it gets darker. I assume it has to be the same darkness as the test strip?

@mylittlebean2019 I am also on my 3rd cycle and due AF on the 30th but only CD5 . I did a cheap opks this morning to just try it out. I plan to go all out this cycle too . I am off work so would be the perfect month to fall pregnant.

Sorry, me again . The opks has a faint line , obviously not ovulating but how quickly does a faint line get darker?

@1992EM I test morning and afternoon. I can get a high reading in the morning, feel ovulation happening then get peak in the afternoon.

@mylittlebean2019 hello, I pee into a glass as they have a smaller circumference, just wedge it up close I temped for my last pregnancy and it was brilliant, clearly showed ovulation and implantation dip. I cant temp now as sleep patterns are way too inconsistent/ you need 4 hours solid sleep before waking and temping or results all over the place.

@beepbeep42 Sorry to hear AF has arrived. Thank you for the advice. I'm going to use the cheap opks until both lines are darker then use both that and the CB ones at different times in the day.
I haven't tried temping but my sleep is all over the place and often wake up in the middle of the night so not sure it would work for me .

@beepbeep42 thank you, I'm settling in for the long haul as it took many cycles last time.
I love a CB OPK but to be fair when you eject the stick they look like a cheapie I'm trying to think how long until they get darker.. I can get results for up for 7 days before I get peak so I dont bother testing until CD12 onwards.
Aye, I would say if you have disruptive sleep temping will just serve to confuse and frustrate. As if TTC wasn't frustrating enough!

@beepbeep42 Thanks, I'll probably do that once I know when I ovulate. The last 2 months I just guessed 😂🙈.

OPKs are confusing the life out of me. So I'm still getting a flashing face meaning high but I think the line is getting paler? Haven't had eggwhite yet. I'm on CD 11 today and last month guessed I ovulated CD 12.

@mylittlebean2019 I’ve just started on the Femometer OPK strips, day three and I’m starting to get the pee in a cup bit down after a few mishaps 🤣
@nottherealslimshady I’m absolutely clueless myself if I’m honest...I started testing on CD4 out of excitement that the strips had arrived and got a high reading in the app so I’ve continued twice daily since then. I’m still getting high readings but my lines were lighter yesterday. After doing a bit of reading I think it can fluctuate in some people as their bodies prepare to ovulate and it can progress neatly or go straight from low to peak in others...hope this helps!
I’ve been testing at the same time morning and evening but I’m off work today and haven’t had a second pee yet so I’ll probably test early afternoon today...how do the experienced OPKers handle change of routine on days off? Do you stick to your usual testing times or test earlier?

@Nottherealslimshady OPKs baffle my brain, I use the CB ones which just give you a Static smiley if it’s a peak.. no flashing or anything just a smile on your peak as then I don’t need to look at anything else or worry about anything else other than just getting the one static smile. I also temped last month which confirmed I ovulated the day after static smiley

Just checked my cervix and there was some brown discharge so think AF well on her way. Absolutely gutted tbh

Just feel as if I’ve been trolled because had AF came on time I’d be halfway through it by now and closer to FW. But because my cycles have been so f’ing long since the chemical my apps predict I won’t ovulate until the 23rd. Just so gutted. Will do a test tonight anyway because otherwise I know I’ll be up at 3am thinking “Some women have had bleeding and still been PG!”
