... so I need both some positive thoughts and also strength to help me avoid testing before the weekend.

I am in danger of getting my hopes up and I know I shouldn't.

So I must resist the urge to do a test.

before the weekend.

Clearblue already have waaay too much of my money.

oh arse .. shall we be menstruation buddies then (am presently ripping the head off anyone who comes within 2 feet of me)

I have to say that 2 months is an incredibly short time for any supplement to work anyway

RosyBelle · 30/09/2007 19:55

So sorry Wannabe - have been watching your posts with interest... we have secondary infertility (have a 4 yr old DD). We were diagnosed with v low sperm count (sound familiar so far??) & I also have PCOS. After 2 long years of treatment (including 2 failed cycles of ICSI) we got a natural BFP in August. Conceived 2 weeks after IVF failed. However just lost that one & had an erpc on Tuesday .
My DH has been taking a supplement called Sperm-a-max (honestly!!) which gives him diahrea.
We have now given up ttc (can't afford any more IVF & TBH wouldn't want to go through it again anyway) & are hopefully getting a puppy soon (sound even more familiar?)

Shall we re-name the thread "name the puppy?"... we are hoping to get a yellow labrador (had a black one who we lost when I was pregnant with DD). So far my DD likes "Sparkle" but DH is not keen.... can't think why??
I like Rohann (Lord of the Rings, Honey & Willow...

Keep your chin up
Rosy

Rosybelle sorry to hear of what you have been through . We too had accepted quite a while back that it wasn't going to happen but then come times like this when I let my guard down and get my hopes up.

In all reality dh would probably have a corinary if I came home with another dog, considering we already have two, but I have wanted a parrot all my life so am angling for one of those instead .

Twig we'll be menstruation buddies instead then

Aw Wanabee - so sorry. I expect you have tried everything but have you tried acupuncture? I only ask because I have a friend who had all sorts of gynae comlications and then had 3 months of acupuncture and a bfp - the practitioner knew before she did!

Hulababy · 01/10/2007 08:28

Ah, really sorry

I have infertility problems too - DD is 5yo and it took quite a long time with her too. My c section left me with further problems though. Currently having treatment for Asherman's Syndrome, and hopefully the cervical stenosis issue will be solved with the ops too, and I guess it is giving me a bit of hope for the future, although the age gap is growing all the time.

Hope you are okay, and heres to looking to the future.

So sorry wannabe. Just one idea but have you had husband checked recently? My dp got one bad result a while back which depressed both of us. Anyway, we then got referred to a specialist a few month later and he had to do another test (none too pleased!!!) and, hey presto, his result was absolutely fine. We had no big change in our life, no idea why it improved so much on the second test. May be worth having another test if you have just had one, it made us feel much better.
I am also doing accupuncture, for about 4 months now, and I have my bfp after trying for 2 years.
Just throwing ideas at you but wish you loads of luck.
