... so I need both some positive thoughts and also strength to help me avoid testing before the weekend.

I am in danger of getting my hopes up and I know I shouldn't.

So I must resist the urge to do a test.

before the weekend.

Clearblue already have waaay too much of my money.

Am keeping everything crossed for you wannabe. Don't go and buy that puppy just yet!

Twiglett · 25/09/2007 20:51

look wannabe .. I'm not being funny but I had secondary infertility .. conceived DS in 2 months, couldn't conceive 2nd time. Its shit it really is. Consultant made me write down when period started, when I ovulated, when we had sex for 3 months .. went in with charts .. she said luteal phase defect (length between ovulation and next period was less than 10 days) take clomid .. 1 month later pregnant with DD

funnypeculiar · 25/09/2007 20:54

sorry it wasn't good news for you this time, wannabe

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 20:54

Aw sorry it wasn't the result you were expecting

Have you seen the GP about it?

wannaBe · 25/09/2007 21:01

dh was diagnosed with low sperm count just over a year ago twig, hence why taking the supplements to try and improve things for him.

Ovulatin is usually fairly easy for me to pinpoint as have pains/ewcm around that time and usually come on two weeks to the day after.

But even if I had an ovulatory issue dh' sperm count would most likely go against me anyway, and am not keen on going down the route of IVF/assisted conception.

But had just not gone back on contraception and for the most part have pretty much accepted that ds is the only child I'm likely to have. Haven't had a "pregnant" moment for ages now.

coggy · 26/09/2007 12:48

Just seen all this wannaBe.......sorry that the test said bfn....and I also know what you are now going through with the test could be wrong couldn't it???
I hope you get your answer one way or another very soon (of course the BFP would be FANTASTIC!!!!)
X

katendmom · 27/09/2007 15:35

Just wanted to add one more "good luck" to tip the scale to the BFP for you

wannaBe · 27/09/2007 18:37

still no af.

Am hoping that posting on here will bring it on .

usually doing a pg test brings on af within hours but alas not this time .

OP posts:
NAB3 · 27/09/2007 18:42

Oooooooooooo good luck then

coggy · 27/09/2007 18:58

Funnily enough I was just thinking the same before I came on here....now that wannaBe's done a hpt her AF is bound to have arrived!!!

That's how it usually works isn't it??!!

I'm fine thanks.
Resigned myself to the fact that nothing would happen this month as I have had no jabs and my own hormones must have forgotten how to work on their own...but my CBFM says that I apparently Ovd a couple of days ago....interestingly on CD23 when my cycles are normally 27/28 days??!!

So I shall be (annoyingly) like you this month.....knowing what the outcome will be....but desperately hoping that it will be the freak month and a bfp.

Don't want to get your hopes up in any way....but......have you got another day in mind for using your second test?
(I know I would have!!!)

Janus · 27/09/2007 19:40

oh wannabe, just found this thread and my heart aches for you. What a fantastic husband you have and I still have my fingers crossed for you.
Just to say I had my bfp a few weeks ago after trying for 2 years. I have 2 other children that I conceived within a month or so of trying so I know how hard it is to get problems when you once did nothing and it happened so easily. I have no idea why my bfp came this month, did nothing different except on holiday in August and it rained alot!!!
I resisted testing until 6 days late, don't know what an earlier test would have showed so you may still be in there. Will keep looking for you. Take care.

wannaBe · 28/09/2007 10:39

coggy

it's so frustrating isn't it when our bodies don't do what we want them to be doing?

I think of you often and often talk about you to my dh .

Will keep fingers crossed that your af doesn't arrive for the right reasons.

well still no af here.

On cd35 now.

wtf is my body playing at?

OP posts:
katendmom · 28/09/2007 12:51

CD 35? not to push you over the edge but maybe you should retest?

coggy · 28/09/2007 18:21

And when (and if) you do re-test make sure EVERYTHING is right so you can't be left wondering still!!!

Make sure it's the first wee of the day etc. etc.

I had some interesting cranial oseopathy today (by accident!!!)....may be useful???

We'll see.....

I shall be checking here often for you.
X
