@AnxiousAnnie86 you're keeping us all in suspense 😬 we're all routing for you! 🤞🏻
@Blossom428 did you start using the sticks this morning?
I'm going to start Wednesday morning I decided as I'll be CD14.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/06/2020 11:11

Awww congratulations @Spinksy9 amazing!!!

@Chlo2701 no I haven't yet, I usually start at 3pm. So I will hold in my wee and limit drink from lunch. Not expecting to see anything. But I am getting some cramps on my left side and don't know what they are.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/06/2020 11:31

@Blossom428 what cycle day are you? X

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 29/06/2020 12:13

CD 11 @AnxiousAnnie86
Feels like it's been forever! Haha

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/06/2020 12:49

@blossom428 I normally start about 12! Just so that I feel like things are underway 😂😂 I'm just about to press order on amazon for some clear blue Digital's, feel like AF Will come the second I do! I do have backache :(

Blossom428 · 29/06/2020 18:47

Are they next day delivery @AnxiousAnnie86 ?
My OPK was completely blank today 😑

Blossom428 · 29/06/2020 18:48

@Spinksy9 you know you test says 1-2 weeks, but does it actually mean 4 weeks when they calculate it at the doctors?

Spinksy9 · 29/06/2020 19:00

@Blossom428 well I contacted my local midwife department as we can self refer here, no need to see the DR. When speaking to the midwife I said when my last period was and we both calculated 4 weeks. The 1-2 weeks on the test is from conception. I have bought a couple more to do next week to check progress. Also bough some more cheapies to do every other day x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/06/2020 20:21

Well that was a rollercoaster, but after ordering bloody pregnancy test as predicted AF has come for me x

WaitingForEgg · 29/06/2020 20:25

Sorry @AnxiousAnnie86 that’s so typical and frustrating
@Spinksy9 congratulations!

No AF here yet. I’ve been at work and was so sure it was coming earlier then nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I’m semi convinced my cycle is a bit longer so I’m determined to hold out until the end of the Week to retest

Spinksy9 · 29/06/2020 20:37

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm so sorry AF has arrived! Fingers crossed for july! Please keep me updated!xx

Blossom428 · 29/06/2020 21:38

Ohhhh no @AnxiousAnnie86 I'm so sorry to hear this!! 😔 typicalabout ordering the test too!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 29/06/2020 22:28

@Blossom428 I just knew it! My husband must be learning a thing or too! I said I'm so so cold today and he went uh ohh is it coming! Then it did! This is the man you couldn't even say the word period too a year ago!!! X

I'm making a decision this month! I've deleted all my apps, apart from Ava, I've told my husband to hide thermometer and cheapie opks! I get so obsessive! With testing so many times a day etc! New month! Just wearing Ava during the night no logging symptoms etc, and I will test once a day only on clear blue advanced, absolutely nothing else. I think my mind needs a break from it all x

OP posts:
Blossom428 · 30/06/2020 08:49

Yeahh I think that's a good idea @AnxiousAnnie86 . The Ava bracket will do its thing anyways.
You just need to have time to focus on you more and not let this take over like you say!
We are on the July bus now, let's hope better things will come this month ✨

AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/06/2020 09:07

I'm so far behind you guys 🥺 did you start testing today @Blossom428

About 10DPO today, still getting a BFN but having some more pregnancy related symptoms yesterday/today... Headache, lower back pain and just a fullness in my lower tummy as if I'm about to come on. My Clue app is telling me that AF is due in 9 days but I had a shorter cycle last month so it could arrive as early as in the next 5-6 days. Should I try the FRER now or wait a little longer?

Spinksy9 · 30/06/2020 09:51

@AnxiousAnnie86 honestly it's the best thing to do. Dont check for anything! Not even ovulation. I've had the best month ever and ended up with a BFP.
I only did a pregnancy test because the DR wanted me to start anti inflammatories for 2 weeks! X

AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/06/2020 09:58

@Spinksy9 my issue with not checking for ovulation is it can be so random! Literally anytime from 17-32 so to not confirm it it's impossible to keep doing it every other day! :( but I'm not going to check multiple times a day desperate to catch it, I will just test first morning urine on clear blue and then not think about it, x

OP posts:
Spinksy9 · 30/06/2020 10:33

@AnxiousAnnie86 my ovulation date kept changing monthly so I ignored my app.
I had sex 3 times this month (mixed up positions) and I think only once was during fertile period. I really hope it works for you!xx

Chlo2701 · 30/06/2020 10:51

@AnxiousAnnie86 I'm so sorry that AF showed!!😣 but I completely agree with you about relaxing the next cycle. That's what I'm going to do. I'm on CD13 & have a feeling I might be ovulating early as have started with twinges. Was starting Clearblue ovulation tomorrow, only got 4sticks left, but have a feeling I might miss it this month by starting tomorrow. & we've not had sex since Sunday morning so going to make sure we DTD tonight. Then once the ovulation sticks have gone I'm switching off. I spoke to a doctor yesterday that I know, & he told me to relax & stop thinking about it & it will happen. I told him it's been a year now, & he seems to think that if I stop letting it consume me it will happen pretty soon. He said he's seen it lots in his career. So I'm going to take his advice & once this fertile window has gone I'm switching off.
Get your AF out the way & start a fresh this cycle. I'm throwing myself back into exercise to take my mind off it all. I need to focus on something else other than TTC🙈 the way I look at it is if I can't control my fertility I can at least control my mental health x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/06/2020 11:01

@Chlo2701 I was so upset last night, I saw the disappointment in my husbands face and I feel like I let him down again..... I've got to stop thinking like this. I'm the same massive focus on fitness this month. I've deleted every single thing off my phone except Ava, I'm not doing it to myself anymore! I'm going to be positive I have a lovely life I adore my husband and I'm just going to focus on getting as fit as I possibly can!

I think I will keep Mumsnet now, not for starting new threads and religiously googling but just as it's nice to speak to you ladies, this will be third month going through this together and it's nice to chat!

I am doing acupuncture and reflexology though, mainly to try and regulate cycles x

Blossom428 · 30/06/2020 15:02

I've got my first little line on my OPKs. I do feel air more relaxed this month. As I think last month was the first cycle and I was new to it all.

@AnxiousAnnie86
@Chlo2701
That's it, although I know it is hard to switch off completely when TTC, but I defo think a more relaxed approach is best. Especially for your mental health and if you've been trying for a long time. Do something enjoyable and fun this week/ weekend @AnxiousAnnie86

Would a clear blue digital work if I used it this eve? I know it says to use FMU on the packet. I've not used them before.
I need a wee now so don't know whether to just pee on it and see 😂 POAS for fun!
