Hi, to anyone else who would like to join. 👋👋
I am on Cycle 2 TTC and on CD15 following SMEP plan this month, tracking BBT and using OPKs xx

@VP91x @Doughnut100 I got The Vida Cup but DP accidentally ordered me a large size and turns out I'm smaller than I thought. I can get it in (definitely understand the self-fisting reference 😂) it's just it won't unfold when it's in however much I try and wiggle it, I spent about 30mins in the shower trying to make it work. I did leave it in and hope it was fine but it obviously wasn't suctioned in place as it leaked - luckily I was wearing a pad 🙈 Hope this is a bit of light relief from TTC chat and you're not completely grossed out by me 🤣🤣 Can't wait to get back to Poas x

@SmileyT hah we all like a bit of diverted chat some times whether its orgasms or period cups haha. I'm interested.. although for DTD purposes rather than for AF . I get on alright with the tampons ... but the only thing is I can only insert tampons with the applicators on them I've never been able to master a tampon without an applicator .. do you think I'd struggle with a cup ?
If were not lucky this month I'd maybe like to consider the cup for after DTD .. @smileyT will you be using a cup for that too ?? Xx

@VP91x I think I may have ovulated already😳 my hubby just reminded me that I did a cheapie Walgreens opk on Friday and it was quite dark, but I haven't used those in a long time and thought that something must be wrong with it. My pregmate OPKs have been much darker than what they were this morning. And I did another Walgreens opk just now which is showing a considerably lighter line than Friday. Also, for the past two days, temp has been at 97.2. Previously, temps have been 96.6 -96.8 after period.

Now I'm even more confused than before😂🤣 I think I have to wait and see, if my temp continues to rise tomorrow morning then I think I may have already ovulated.

@Rainbowhope11 it sounds possible you have already ovulated . I would continue temping and seeing how that goes to know for sure

I feel crap today, constant headache and feeling nauseated. runny nose, sneezing and stingy eyes, twinges on either side of my pelvis . Trying so hard not to get my hopes up but I remember having all this these thing the last two times I was pregnant but noticed them more at around 12dpo not 6/7dpo. These next few days are gonna take forever to go in. Dunno whether to start testing for the crack of it from tomorrow I’ve like 20 cheap Femometer pregnancy tests

@2020wish yeah I think I'll just continue temping, and still dtd to make sure.

Aww I'm sorry you're not feeling good today, but hopefully it's good news 😊 those are all good signs, I also remember having a few of those as well just before my bfp last time. If you can, I would hold out a couple of days so that you can be certain of your results. I have fingers, toes, everything crossed for you hun!!

What is the sensitivity level on those fermometer tests?

Yeah different sizes and I don't mind tampons at all but was thinking about the environment and thought I could use it after sex aswell to keep the swimmers in (it's not as efficient as a conception cup as think it sits lower) but thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. I also ordered what I thought was the Bluetooth femometer thermometer but ordered a normal one so now I just have two normal ones - note to self don't put an order in when you've had a bottle of wine (and no it wasn't a mini one 😂)

Feeling super motivated this month again and really hoping we get some BFPs over the next few weeks feel like we deserve some in this group... maybe you'll kick us off next week @2020wish 🤞

@VP91 Imso happy u got ur peak.. told u it can come on so quickly ur cb this afternoon def would have gone to peak !! Happy dtd 😘

@Rainbowhope11 oh!! That does sound like you have. Hopefully your temp goes up and you can confirm it. Did you manage to DTD around the time of your dark OPK?

@2020wish are they 20ml/sensitivity the ones that come in the femometer pack. Maybe try and hold out otherwise you might get BFN on them. But your symptoms sound promising 🙏🙏 xxx

@SmileyT oh no that's annoying are you going to return it and get your BT one?

Yeah, the ferti-lily one I have is more of like a little dome shape as opposed to the cup shape. But, they would certainly keep everything up there which is the most important thing. Xx

@VP91x I did thankfully! Have been dtd every day. I really hope that I have in fact ovulated because I was beginning to get really discouraged. Xx

@VP91x not sure of the sensitivity, it is the fermometer ones that come in the pack of 50 LH strips and 20 hcg? Is that the ones ur talking off?

I also have to early response clear blue but trying to keep them x

Bodoes are soooo confusing!! Am 7dpo and 5days away from potential AF. My boobs are definitely getting more achey/tender by the day, and I’ve been a bit light headed today - BUT - my normally boobs hurt a day or 2 before af, and I have spent all day painting in my new house (fumes and going up/down stepstools etc!) My forst week on the tww went ok - I feel this next one isn’t lol! Especially as I started spotting 4days before af last cycle (never had that before mc) so boobs could be hurting because I’m about to start spotting. I may have to learn a new skill this week just to make it pass quickly lol!

@VP91x nah i can't be bothered to return it now, I'll just keep it... DP said he'll buy the Bluetooth one next month if we don't catch. Always good to get some treats around AF to focus on 😂 and yeah even if the cup just stops the mess on my sheets I'll be happy 🙈

Girls iv put my temp in this morning and its moved my ovulation day to friday 😂 obv iv put that i got my postive ovualtion test last monday ... nc is starting to confuse me.. my temp went up quite a bit today from 36.67 yest to 36.82 today but no way i ovulated friday as i got my peak on monday and logged it...why has it changed it? 😏

@SmileyT @Renna I have a question about using cups after sex actually. So after sex there is semen all over the inside of your vagina, not just at the cervix. If you put a soft cup in that goes around your cervix, surely you are keeping the rest of the semen AWAY from your cervix? Maybe a menstrual cup is better because it sits lower and just makes sure the semen doesn't fall out? Just a thought. I don't have any soft cups but in the past I've used my menstrual cup after morning sex when I have to get up.

@Renna I would say yes you might have trouble with a cup if you have trouble with tampons. But if you practice you could get it.

@SmileyT that's a drag if it won't open up properly inside you. You should get a small or it'll leak on your sheets. Shame it's not exactly the kind of thing you can try out and then return 😂

Is it because of that temp reading thats on the cover line looks like the start of a temp rise? Surly natural cycles should use the fact that iv confirmed positive ovulation test on the Monday more substantial than a temp ? 😏

Iv got the ferti lily cup and read all the instructions and watched the video and you turn it inside out and push the sperm towards ur cervix and then pull it into the cup shape once its by ur cervix and nothing falls out and it keeps the sperm really close xx ☺️

@Doughnut100 yeah that's a point about semen being all in the vagina and stopping some ... ultimately I think either way the main sperm that are gonna make it to the egg is the ones that head straight on up there after DH ejaculates because of the force it's gone up there and its unlikely to be the sperm that's still hanging round your cervix any way whether you use the cup or not. But people have had success with it so it may work or may just be coincidence like all the other TTC tricks and tips 😂🤷‍♀️
Might not be for me then if I'm gonna struggle 😂 guess we got pg without it before and like you say who knows if itll help or not .. and dont wanna stress about trying to get it in when I'm struggling 😂🙄 but I may get it if I practice some more before ... I'll see how I feel about giving it a try next cycle if I have no luck with AF turning up 😓 xxx
Also I didnt realise menstrual cups are different to the conception ones .. 👌 xx
