Hi all,

I joined a similar thread last month and found it really supportive. It’d be great to hear from others.

We’ve been trying for number 2 for two years now and each month gets more emotionally difficult. Xx

@Cheesybiscuits01 the longest 🙄

Cheesybiscuits01 · 04/05/2020 21:56

I just want to fast forward a week. Don't know why it seems so bad this month.

Bailey93 · 04/05/2020 22:12

I guess we are all just stuck in with no distractions! It's so much harder!

Smiling124 · 04/05/2020 23:06

Hi,

I hope you don't mind me joining I am 4dpo and finding this month the hardest with no distractions! I can't help my symptom spot (I know it is too early) but defiantly a change in boob sensitivity!trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard!

babymaybeeee · 05/05/2020 01:05

@Smiling124 my nipples and a little further into the breast has been so so tender. I'm 7dpo, I didn't realise how far past ovulation I was until I've just counted on my Flo app now - fingers crossed it's a good sign for us both

babymaybeeee · 05/05/2020 01:07

I don't know if I should order tests online for next week when I can test or if I should just wait until I'm actually late if I get to that point...

SmileyT · 05/05/2020 06:03

Welcome @Smiling124 so frustrating that for the first week our bodies do the same thing pre-AF or in early pregnancy, but having said that many women do say they have a 6th sense about being pregnant so always trust yourself if you think things feel different. Fingers crossed for a BFP next week, when will you test? xx

Sussexbysea · 05/05/2020 07:27

I’m so done with symptom spotting now. They all point to Aunt Flo and the disappointment can be too much. If I’m late by a week, I’ll test. Last cycle, I was late by 3 days and in my head I had already bought a new pram.... I was convinced.

Hi @SmileyT, 14th May which seems a year away in this current climate! I have only been using an app with average cycles (not any testing for ovulation) so we will just have to wait! Fingers crossed for everyone!

Skyla01 · 05/05/2020 08:19

@Sussexbysea uh oh- not what you want to hear from your doctor! I would try not to worry. Do you have any symptoms of thyroid prob?

@Cheesybiscuits01 that was so me last tww, it took an age! Hence why I'm not tracking this month- the fixation on AF due date was horrible. Don't know when I'm due this month.

Sussexbysea · 05/05/2020 08:40

@Skyla01

I have so many symptoms but none of them would make you think you’re pregnant. I say that, but until I’ve been to the specialist I’m not sure.

My main symptoms are a racing heart, dry eye, pins and needles (but extreme pain) in my arms and hands

Hi I'm due AF on Sunday this week when would you test? Month 1 of trying so not sure, I have bought Frer but don't want to waste them Hmm

Sussexbysea · 05/05/2020 11:18

@nlm82 I would wait till you’ve missed your period. Especially as it’s difficult to get hold of tests without going to the supermarkets

OP posts:
serialplanner · 05/05/2020 11:50

@nlm82 it's so difficult not to test early but I would say it's less disappointing to get your period than a BFN (And cheaper!) Because your cycle starts again. Try and wait until you are a few days late. It's nice as well when you take the test and don't have to guess if you are pregnant etc interpreting lines x

Sussexbysea · 05/05/2020 13:00

@serialplanner line eyes!! They’re the worst

OP posts:
Skyla01 · 05/05/2020 13:05

@nlm82 I never test early. I think AF is a great negative test right there and free too! I would wait until you are late. Frer are expensive I think so I'm surprised so many ladies take lots of tests each cycle. I'm defo too cheap to do that! You can get much cheaper tests which are less sensitive, but will save you money if you are testing early.

SmileyT · 05/05/2020 13:51

@Skyla01 I'm with you, obviously each to their own but taking FRER tests at like £7 a go for the week leading up to AF is like £50, can't be doing that every month 😳

Think I'll be testing 16dpo if no sign of period and then hopefully I get an answer one way or another, I can't be squinting at a negative test for days x

beachbum85 · 05/05/2020 14:09

Totally with you @Skyla01 and @SmileyT - and I get obsessed enough with the OPKs that I can't handle another week of daily tests. But I understand that the wait can be a bit too much...

And with @serialplanner too - the one month I tested early, I was sure I felt pregnant and that BFN was much more disappointing

Skyla01 · 05/05/2020 16:35

Some people prefer BFN first to prepare them for AF. But at £7 a pop.... I don't think so!

I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated but going to give it 2 weeks from last likely ovulation day. My LP is only 12 days so likely AF will have shown by then. Would love to be pregnant this month- feels like we've been trying for so long I think we deserve a break :)

nlm82 · 06/05/2020 05:38

Thanks guys will be waiting until Sunday then. Smile

hayho87 · 06/05/2020 08:38

Hi ladies,

I think this another month of believing I have symptoms but probably haven't got any 😫 I can feel my normal monthly hormonal chin spot starting so reckon I'm out 😫 onto cycle 20 if that's the case! 🥵

Sussexbysea · 06/05/2020 09:19

@hayho87

Sorry to hear that. It’s funny how we just know isn’t it? I can feel my mood changing, so that’s how I usually know I’m out for the month. I can feel my mood dropping, but that could be because of a 3 year old who is eating all the food and just wants to play tea party all day 😂

OP posts:
SmileyT · 06/05/2020 09:47

@hayho87 when is AF due? Sorry it seems like this isn't your month... hoping AF arrives soon so you can start again next month x

lucymagoo · 06/05/2020 10:01

@hayho87 I have my monthly chin spot too! I've done some research though and this is caused by a rise in estrogen and progesterone which will happen if you're pregnant or not Smile
Don't lose hope!

hayho87 · 06/05/2020 10:11

@Sussexbysea
@smileyT
@lucymagoo

I'm 8dpo today, I still have cramps on and off throughout the day and night, still have creamy cm which is an unusual one for me as I'm normally dry. And I have occasional nausea but I reckon that's all in my head! Wishful thinking can be the devil! I know I'm not out just yet but still can't help thinking it's not my month again 😕 how are you guys? Xx
