CM 4DPO

Hi all,
I am 4DPO and today and yesterday I've had very strange CM, it's watery but with white clumps that are very stringy. Does anyone know what this means? I've never had this type of CM before. Been ttc DC3 for 18 months now. Thanks in advance!

Yeah. Will let you know how we get on. Cant hurt to try. Will hopefully give some indication on his sperm condition, and then how to adjust diet etc. Is this your first baby? I think I just need to chill out about it more. I'm obsessed with it all at the moment. Lol. X

@lag1986 yeah its our first...im just hoping it doesn't take months or years to get pregnant, or not be able to at all. It has definitely made me go a bit crazy and Google everything. Its got to the point where if im not in the fertile window and the husband wants sex, im like...ermmmm, but im not in the fertile window!? Haaaaaaa. Sounds awful doesnt it x

@MrsBlue1986 is this your first? My cervix is completely different to how it was pre DC so I can't use this as a reliable indicator?

@MrsBlue1986 just dtd anyway. Cant hurt. Every other day. Then you wont miss your ovulation window either. Win win. Haha. I feel sorry for my partner. Haha xx

@lag1986 haha we DTD once a day, every day for 10 days before and 3 days after my supposed ovulation day. 🙈🤣

If that doesnt work, then I dont know what will haha x

@MrsBlue1986 think my partner just wants to rest some nights. Theres me hinting and talking about ovulation. Haha. I'm on the idea that every other day gives sperm chance to build up in between. It can live for up to 5 days in your cervix haha. X

@lag1986 that is true, although i read that there is no harm in having sex every day, because sperm can replenish itself within a few hours. Haha some days he was just like....ohhh man, im not even in the mood but ok 🙄🤣 xx

@lag1986 so ive just realised i think im 8DPO, and not 7DPO. Googling all sorts!!!

Nausea for the last 4 days on and off
Cramps for the last 4 days on and off
Headaches for the last 2 days
And now a firmer cervix as of today!
Super tired
Negative test today 8dpo

@MrsBlue1986 do you have an early detection test? I'm about 10 dpo. I'm so nervous about doing it. I just want to be pregnant. And all the symptoms with my body are so confusing. I had tummy cramps last week. Had some this week. Feeling icky too. I dont normally get signs of af till night before. X

@lag1986 i have loads of cheap sensitive tests, which test up to 4 days before hand. But im only due next Sunday!!!!! So they are showing negative. and i have one FRER which i dont want to waste yet haha. Ill prob save that one until Tuesday or so xx

Early detection test are all new to me. I didnt know they existed till a few days ago. Haha. I bought first response ones. X

@LAG1986 @MrsBlue1986 check on the box for miu(I think?) strength - FRER have a detection of I think 6, whereas the cheapies I used today are 20. CB are about 25, so if you're going to test early, it's best to use FRER

@MrsBlue1986 at only 7dpo, it's probable that implantation hasn't even occurred - I think this happens around 10 - 14dpo

@Rebs1994 hey! yeah the sensitive ones ive bought are 10 mlu. Theyre the only ones iv used yet. I think im also 8dpo today too... im saving my FRER for a couple of more days as im due next Sunday x

Did my first response test tonight and got a negative. Because I'm impatient!! Cant see anywhere on the box where is says about sensitivity. Will look on their website xx

My possible AF due date is also next Sunday! (According to my cycle it can be anywhere from Wednesday to Sunday). Have you also been feeling irrationally annoyed at anything your DH does? I'm finding myself so irate at the smallest of things - never felt like this before in the lead up to AF, but now just thinking it's PMS rearing her ugly head!😂

Yes first response are 6. Disappointed at my negative, but it's not over till AF pops up. Probably would have made sense to do ot in morning. Lol. I'm due AF thursday. X

Didnt do another test this morning. Appears like af might be here 3 days early, however cramps not constant and very light and pink. So who knows. Lol. X

How are you both getting on? @LAG1986 do you think it was AF or could it have been IB? Have you had any other symptoms?

I tested this morning on a FRER and could see the faintest line but DH couldn't see anything, so I (stupidly) took the test apart and there was a pink line! He even said he could see it clear as day! After that I checked my cervix and found lots of brown CM 😭. Since then I've been checking my CM which has now completely dried up (to the point of being painful!) and done another FRER, however that was completely negative! What do you think I should do? Take the (albeit faint) test as a positive or just wait for AF to rear her ugly head?

@Rebs1994 sorry I havent replied sooner. AF didnt stick to social distancing and turned up early. But theres always next month. I'm also now 5 days smoke free!!!! Trying to get as healthy as I can while waiting for my positive.
I would wait and see if Af arrives for you too. I know its disheartening but we will drive ourselves crazy with peeing on sticks. Xx
