Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

I'm not a symptom spotter as you can tell but I did have the worst stabby fanny pain about 3 days ago, to the point it stopped me in my tracks, lasted about 10 min, I dismissed it as nothing when my husband asked. That's the only sign of anything I've had. I felt a bit like my period was coming this afternoon but I had that the other times I was pregnant once I was past the point my period should be. Quite weird it sinking in, a family of 5 with 3 under 5 😆 crazy!!

I hope everyone else on here gets their bfp soon, if you are feeling different things to what is normal for you I'm sure it's a good sign, lack of what I normally feel seems to be a thing for me. My mum is one of them people that knew they were pregnant before taking the test, I'm deffo not!

Dimosaur · 17/04/2020 19:15

I think I'm only about 2 or 3 dpo... But I feel so sick today when I eat . Couldn't finish my dinner!
And Im exhausted.
Feels like my first pregnancy
Surely I can't be having symptoms already?!

DontStandSoClose · 17/04/2020 19:41

Some people do say they have symptoms vv early, I wouldn’t have thought it would be possible before hcg is produced which is a day or 2 after a fertilised egg is implanted. If you had it with your first pregnancy though it’s a good sign, fingers crossed!!

Dimosaur · 17/04/2020 19:48

@dontstandsoclose fingers crossed.
My first pregnancy I felt ill like this from about 7dpo, bfp 10dpo on Frer.
Ds 18 months now!

KSI88 · 17/04/2020 20:17

@DontStandSoClose Congratulations!!

@DontStandSoClose congratulations x

My sore boobs seem to have reverted to normal so maybe I was just imagining things. Even though it's still early, I'm starting to feel like it won't be this month.

ChattyMum86 · 17/04/2020 23:46

Amazing news!! So excited for you ❤️

My delivery from Asda with my HPT will arrive tomorrow between 9 and 10am. Hoping for a similar outcome ❤️ xxx

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 07:55

Exciting @chattymum86, I use the asda own tests (not the 99p freedom ones they once gave me a false positive when we weren't trying and caused quite a bit of stress, have a look at the reviews so many women with false positives so avoid), the £3.50 for 2 ones have always been accurate though which is what I use.

I've retested this morning and the line looks a little darker (I tested in the middle of the afternoon after holding my wee for 2 hours yesterday), I've never quite been able to believe I'm pregnant until I see it in writing so will get a digital next time we go to the shop, I'll stop testing after that as long as my period stays away!

Was so hard yesterday when it got to 7pm and I wanted a glass a wine (I have a 4 and 2 year old so it's needed!!). I also drink tea like a fish so I'll have to get some decaf teabags, I've always had 1 normal brew in the morning then decaf for my other 50 cups.

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 07:56

I can't upload any pics (I've been a member for years) no idea why, I did try in that post

ChattyMum86 · 18/04/2020 09:53

@DontStandSoClose well it is been a BFN this morning but to be honest I am probably testing a bit too early 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🙈 I will try again nearer to the first day of my missed period (if it doesn't come) wishful thinking over here!
I have two wee ones at the moment (ages 4 and 7). I hope you managed to get decaf teabags? 🙏🏼 ☕️ and are feeling ok? Xx

GinIsTheOnlyTonic · 18/04/2020 10:06

Congrats @DontStandSoClose is that the first BFP of the thread? First of many I hope! Anyone else due to test soon?

KSI88 · 18/04/2020 10:14

I'm either 6 or 7dpo today. My Ovia app is recommending I test in 5 days. 5 long days! 🙈

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 10:17

You might just be testing a little early like you say, I wouldn't be too disheartened just yet. I think your age gaps are probably a little more manageable than ours (4 and 2)!

I feel fine thanks, completely normal don't feel anything yet, I think I need to see words to believe it really.

I've been feeling a bit Confused reading things on here this morning, mumsnet really doesn't like people trying to get pregnant at the moment "irresponsible" is what I've read on other threads it was aibu though to be fair aka come rip me to shreds! I have to admit I won't be sharing our news at 12 weeks as we normally would, I think we'll hold off as long as possible, I haven't looked pregnant until 20+ weeks before.

heybb · 18/04/2020 10:20

@DontStandSoClose Congratulations! Hopefully the digi will help sink it in 😃

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic Fx for lots more bfps in here! Little early for me still.. Af is due 25th and am trying to hold out till 22nd at least. When are you testing?

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 10:22

@KSI88 lock your tests in the boot of your car or put them in your garage, stop yourself testing early! If they aren't to hand you can't pee on them Grin

KSI88 · 18/04/2020 10:30

@DontStandSoClose My hubby has said he's going to hide them 😁 Lockdown isn't helping. I think I'll potter about in the garden today to keep myself busy!

OP posts:
DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 10:39

@KSI88 even better if you don't know where they are!

MissAR · 18/04/2020 11:23

I will be testing tomorrow at 10dpo...I just can't wait anymore.Today I woke up angry, everything around annoys me so I think that's AF letting me know she's coming.
Anybody testing this weekend?

MissAR · 18/04/2020 11:34

@Aluasen did you manage to take another test?😍

sakuramiyagi · 18/04/2020 11:36

AF was due today but has not appeared yet, which puts me at 13DPO. Tested yesterday as per Ovia recommendation and got a BFN (on cheapie strip test and an FRER).

Tested today with a cheapie and it was a BFN again.

I'm pretty certain that I am out this month but a tiny part of me is still clinging to the hope that I will get a BFP tomorrow.

MissAR · 18/04/2020 11:42

@sakuramiyagi so sorry😞 it's annoying when AF decide to play with your mind and show up late. But you know what they say 'you're not out until af arrives' have my fingers crossed for a late bfp🤞🏻💕

Aluasen · 18/04/2020 12:14

@MissAR yeah, I took another free today and it is the faintest of lines, more faint that the one I took yesterday so I don't know what is going on 😂 I'll wait a couple days until I get to 14dpo and try again

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 13:58

I've fingers crossed for you all!! Incidentally when I was having my second child (he was the result of sex the day my period was due and was a little sooner than we intended!!) I tested a few days after my period was due as it hadn't appeared but it was negative. Two weeks late I tested again I think a combination of friends telling me to and I think I'd felt sick maybe or something, anyway it was positive.

So it is possible to get a late positive but I wasn't tracking ovulation and didn't realise I'd ovulated 2 weeks late. It wasn't until I had my scan and the date was moved back 2 weeks that we realised.

gingerglitter4ever · 18/04/2020 16:56

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic I may test tomorrow, but maybe not because I do t have any FRERs at home, so I feel like I may be wasting the test if I do it too early 😐 we’ll see if I can hold off until Tuesday or Wednesday (AF due Tuesday)

Maybe I’ll order some FRERs ? 🙈

Dimosaur · 18/04/2020 18:27

My OH keeps asking if I've missed a period yet... Bless him, he's quite excited about this time, I don't think he was so sure the First time round!

Wishing luck for anyone testing this weekend!
I can't test til next weekend really! THts ages away!
