Thought I would start the May bus as looks like not been successful this month.

Cycle 2

@Skyla01 nope no idea, this is my second cycle ttc and last month we started trying into my fertile week and never did get a positive OPK. So we have started BDing yesterday and daily OPK testing today at CD9.

Also started drinking grapefruit juice as I heard that helps with EWCM.

Hey everyone! Can I join the May bus? Never been on a bus before but finding life a bit lonely during this pandemic! On CD1 and going to begin to TTC baby no 2 this month, hope I have all the right lingo!
I’m 28 and conceived in the first month with my DD.

Hi @Katbaby, thanks so much, I feel much more apprehensive this time round but hoping for the best! I see the pill messed with your cycle, how annoying, I’ve read some threads that pregnacare can do this too not sure If you are taking that?

@CoronaBaby I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. I was taking it for a while, December and January and part of Feb.. Ive changed onto I think its called seven seas now.
I'm in an I between stage right now as I've been having slightly heavier than spotting type bleeding but then I had a faint positive yesterday afternoon so watch this space, will be testing again tomorrow 🤞🤞

Do you take any prenatal vits or recommend any?

@CoronaBaby I'm CD1 today as well! This is cycle #4 though so not as lucky as you! When are you predicted to ovulate?

@Katbaby oh excellent, you will have to report back and let us know but fingers crossed for you!
I got some in my local health shop, a methyl folate multivitamin and a prenatal DHA.
@Juno231 so glad to know that we are on CD1 together, I’m not confident on when I ovulate so I’ve got some OPKs coming, I am still breastfeeding DD so that may throw out ovulation too which I am worried about! Do you know when you are predicted to ovulate?

Girls. Omg. I am. Now on cd9... In the midst of TTC action.
Should be ovulating around cd11 or 12. My opk is still totally negative.
We have been BD every day for 4 days now and will continue, perhaps have a break one day... My husband is totally convinced its our month. That scares me obviously, I hate his disappointment... 🎀

OK @CoronaBaby well I caved and tested last night so only just over 24 hours from first test 🤔 but I can definitely see the line getting darker. My fear is that I'm still bleeding a bit. Hubby wants me to wait til Monday to test again. Really hoping this doesn't end in a chemical I've read so much about them 😬

@Katbaby Eek that is deffo a line anyway!! Are you bleeding much? Could it be implantation bleeding?

@CoronaBaby well yesterday tmi it was quite red but only when I used the bathroom it would wipe on the tissue. Fx I haven't had any this morning with a bm so hopefully it's stopped. Hopefully that's what it is, now the waiting game to see if the line professed on Monday.

@CoronaBaby I'm predicted to ovulate on the 30th as l ovulated on CD13 last cycle. I'll be using OPKs again and I use femometer to track them with as I go bonkers tracking them and interpreting them otherwise.

@katbaby bleeding is meant to be super common in early pregnancy so hopefully that's all this is! Congrats to your BFP!

@Katbaby I had light bleeding with my youngest son, and I assumed I wasn't pregnant, then it stopped and I tested a couple of days later and it was a strong positive!

Oh tell me about it! Lockdown is not helping my 2ww anxiety. What cycle day did you first test?

According to ovia it was cd 119🤣🤣 so God knows.

Thanks @popcorndiva don't know how you can drink it, grapefruit is awful hahaha, but we will try weird and wonderful things in the name of ttc!

@Katbaby I have my fingers crossed for you but it as others have said it looks positive, hopefully it was just a bit of implantation bleeding!
@Juno231 according to my period tracker app I’m not due until the 4/5 but I’m going to use the OPK to double check, I got the clear blue ones with the smiley face, quite expensive I thought, what ones do you use?

@popcorndiva I don't like the sound of grapefruit juice! How is it supposed to help? Maybe you could eat a grapefruit instead (that might be just as bad)!

@Katbaby congratulations on your bfp! Hope the line keeps getting stronger. I think it's good to leave it a few days- otherwise you might drive yourself mad.

@skyla01 thank you, not sure how long my sanity will leave it aha. May have to test again tomorrow but will be continuing to knicker check hopefully no more blood this morning is a good sign!
I think grapefruit is meant to promote regular cycles / ovulation or have I just made that up? I'm eating full fat dairy instead of low fat as that's supposedly meant to promote fertility. And tastes nicer 🤣

@Skyla01 it's meant to help ewcm. I am throwing everything at this month in the hope then I can stop stressing

@CoronaBaby ha I'm too cheap for those! Especially as I'm on cycle 4 now and god knows how long it will take so I use femometer dip stick ones. It's like £9.99 for a box of 50! 4/5 April is quite a long wait - do you normally have long cycles, as that would put you at CD17/18?

@Katbaby I had a bleed at 7 weeks last time which EPAU put down to implantation, it is nerve wracking!
@popcorndiva This is very interesting, does it come in a carton like orange juice? How does it taste?
