Hi thought I would come over here too.

TTC 3
3rd cycle.

Af due Thursday but I've just a feeling it isn't my month!!

💕

Elenor1010 · 14/04/2020 06:39

Hey, TTC 1st time, 4th cycle and 1st bus.

MrsLBear · 14/04/2020 08:05

Hi ladies.
Jumping on the bus. Been TTC 2 years in June. Had a mmc Feb 2019. Af due 6/7th May.

Interesting to read some of you experienced longer cycles taking pregnacare. I was taking the boots equivalent and I stopped taking them after my miscarriage. And then last month tried again and went from a 30 day cycle to 41/42. Ive been convinced for ages it does that to my cycles which is so annoying when you're TTC. You don't want to add more time 🥴

I bought some more clear blue digital ovulation sticks again as I have real trouble identifying O day with IC!
Baby dust to you all!!

Hi all, jumping on the may bus as af showed up like clockwork this morning.

Adrianoska · 14/04/2020 10:04

Hello 👋🏻Welcome on board 🎀

I am now on 4cd. AF due to finish today and my fertile week starts in a couple of days. Apparently.

I am feeling the pressure... My husband's mother and his sisters (all living in Egypt)are telling me now to do this or to do that...
He demands I neglect any "harder" sports.
Omg I so want to get pregnant.
❤️

HopefulRobertsons66202 · 14/04/2020 11:06

So here is my plan. We are trying the SMEP idea. With Preseed and I've been taking Alani Nu Balance which is a hormone balancer. It helps with fertility and quality of eggs that are released from the ovaries. I have a friend who was not trying that got pregnant in her first month of taking Balance so I thought I'd give it a trying! I stopped taking the pill in December and had periods all over the place and now I'm regular! Plus it helps with your mood which is wonderful!

Aimy1 · 14/04/2020 11:13

@serialplanner will have to keep updating each other!

Is anyone else testing towards the end of this month?
It's horrible being on lockdown and not being able to occupy my mind with anything other than getting pregnant!

Minster2012 · 14/04/2020 11:13

@Adrianoska what kind of harder sports? To be fair they do say lay off things like hardcore work outs so maybe why not, what hardcore spirts can you do in lockdown! I’m still doing Pilates & the joe wicks PE & lots of walking to get exercise! Don’t listen to his family, it will come

@HopefulRobertsons66202 will look at that! Thanks, others on another thread have recommended taking B6 too so looking into that, I’m currently only taking folic acid & when I got pregnant in Feb on our IVF that’s all I took

HopefulRobertsons66202 · 14/04/2020 11:17

Here's some information about what in the Balance

@Littlebump2018 I used clearblue advanced digital opk. Expensive but very easy to use (test with fmu) and very clear to read. I always got a peak. Stopped using after a few cycles as I'm regular so kinda know when ovulation will be now. And they stressed me out a little. Worth a try for a cycle or two though!

@Aimy1 I am definitely struggling more with ttc due to lack of distractions currently. It's annoying because the last few months I was doing ok. On the up side enjoying DTD with more time & energy than usual!

Only cd4 here so a while to go yet until the fun part ;)

Aimy1 · 14/04/2020 13:56

@skyla01 I'm cd 3 so just behind you! My app says I'm due on on the 23rd this month. So fingers crossed. I've been tracking my cervical position the last couple of months and it has stayed high since my fertile window so I'm hoping that's it! But I'm obsessing over the smallest thing. Yes it's nice being able to DTD as much as we can but with 2 kids, it's not so easier but sort of enjoyable trying to not get caught, we are like teenagers again 😂

popcorndiva · 14/04/2020 13:56

I am taking folic acid once a day, vital dha twice a day and cq10 twice. It's meant to help if like me you are over 35

Minster2012 · 14/04/2020 14:38

CD2 for me! I get so confused by the vitamins! I’m 35 now, 36 in July I just don’t know what to take. I have a phone call with my lovely female GP in 20 mins or so, I don’t think she knows about the MC so going to ask her as I suffer from vitiligo so I want to ask if I need vitamin D as I have to have factor 50 on constantly

Minster2012 · 14/04/2020 16:24

I’m also keen to know what vitamins others have taken that aren’t pregnacare, my doctor has just suggested I really need the vitamin D & probably vitamin B & iron maybe too(she said get pregnacare but I’m loathed too if ppl think it lengthens cycles) she said there’s no way it can as no hormonal element but still 🤷‍♀️What separate ones do ppl take?

RobinRose · 14/04/2020 16:55

I am taking Cytoplan pregna-plan, doesn’t appear to have affected my cycle yet! Not the nicest tasting or smallest pill in the world though!

Minster2012 · 14/04/2020 17:07

Thank you @RobinRose have you taken it for long?

Fisher1008 · 14/04/2020 20:08

I’m on CD5 here and want to do the SMEP plan, I have long cycles almost always 33-34. Should I start DTD on the recommend CD8 or a little later?

My LP is always 16 days so it’ll likely I will ovulate 28-30th of this month.

Anyone in a similar situation or have any advice?

popcorndiva · 14/04/2020 20:17

I downloaded the book so will check what it says for you @Fisher1008

@Minster2012 I know people say it doesnt affect your cycle, but if you have a quick google the stories are crazy.

Ive never been on any contraception (old school pull out and condoms) and always been regular. I started taking pregnecare plus last month while TTC, it made me a week late, I was so angry lol.

so now im taking simple folic acid, and will start up the pregnecare again when I fall pregnant.

myhappystreak · 14/04/2020 20:30

@popcorndiva I'm trying the SMEP plan this month, currenty CD5 and looking forward to cracking on on Thursday!

Where did you download the book from? I've been looking at the example plan on the website

popcorndiva · 14/04/2020 20:32

Amazon kindle

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 14/04/2020 20:40

@myhappystreak thank you yes I’m going to avoid definitely then, I think I’m just going to stay on folic acid for a couple of months then reevaluate
I’m just a bit worried as we had to do IVF as I was on chemo & when looking at my egg levels they are very low for my age (which is 35, nearing 36) so they said “oh you would’ve ended up here anyway I’m afraid” & when we used a frozen embryo in Feb my womb lining was a bit thin but it still worked (For a few weeks) so now I’m worried about all bits 😕 but I should try & relax a bit first

Fisher1008 · 14/04/2020 20:42

@popcorndiva thank you! That makes more sense!

@myhappystreak I’m on CD5 too, going to try SMEP for the first time. Going to start on Saturday as I have longer cycles 🤞🏻

HopefulRobertsons66202 · 14/04/2020 20:56

AF HAS LEFT THE BUILDING! 😁😁😁
