Thanks all. I’m confused about the consistent positive OPKs. I’m pretty sure I ovulated earlier this month as I had ewcm and cramps etc, and I think it’s unlikely I’d be ovulating this late (cd45 today). Going to DTD in case though. I’m trying to remind myself that this negative means we can spend Christmas with my family overseas, which is why we planned to take a break this month... humph.

And re the cock rings- using a bullet whilst DTD has changed my life 😂 try it people.

@Newbie0818 so sorry it’s BFN how very confusing and so weird for you, but good for the trip though. Heading off to look up bullets now. Hope no one looks at my internet history, they would think it’s very very odd!! 😂

@Newbie0818 I had a positive OPK before AF last month, apparently it's common to have a surge in hormones before AF arrives. Confusing as lots of others get positive OPK when pregnant too. I peed on an OPK for the same reason as you last month and got the same outcome sadly.

@Minster2012 yes I was sure I'd heard of it, but after some googling this morning, seems its quite a positive one so fingers crossed.

Yes @paintfairy I think it's just super late ovulation... I'm still doing opk and still DTD every 2-3days. Although I didn't do an opk yesterday because I forgot and then was too hydrated so my wee was far too dilute... I feel so frustrated with my body, like WTF are you playing at, just ovulate already!!!
How's your cycle going? Remind me where you're at in your TTC journey? Xx

@newbie0818 ohhh no I'm so sorry - maybe you had a LH surge earlier in the month but didn't ovulate and this is the body trying again 🤞🏻 for you... Xx

And yes @paintfairy I definitely blame corona virus for this delay. Stupid worldwide pandemic & super high anxiety 😫

@Newbie0818 so sorry for bfn. Yes defo DTD tonight if you can. Wouldn't hurt to! And I totally agree about the bullet. Game changer haha. We couldn't get on with the cock ring.

@Newbie0818 I have to use a bullet every time. 😂 Nothing else works for me. The only problem is I struggle with limited positions then. Either doggy or him on his side behind. Unless you have any other suggestions? 😂

Quick recap. Usually have a 26/27 day cycle. We were having April off so using contraception. Currently on day 39.
I can't work out if I ovulated late or at all. Although my temp is high enough to have done. I thought I likely ovulated day 17 but FF changed it to 20 this morning. We did have unprotected sex day 21. But negative frer 2 days ago. So really no clue. I was looking forward to cracking on but I'm in limbo. I'm doing daily OPK in case I've just completely missed a period and will go on to ovulate.

@Sausage1990 and @Newbie0818 do you track your temps? Was there a rise anywhere? If this is a regular thing, checking temps should help to see when (or if) you've actually ovulated (if there's no rise, it might be an anovolulatary month which is a ginormous pain).

All - I've been on Mumsnet for less than 24 hours and a vibrating c*ck ring was ordered last night, I'll provide reviews on receipt 😂😂😂

@newbie0818 - sorry sweetie 😞 although I have heard women can ovulate twice in a cycle on rare occasions so maybe that's what's happening here?

@Sausage1990 @paintfairy I agree with the Rona messing up our cycles! Mine have been all over the place since late Feb! They're usually clockwork.

@paintfairy @Newbie0818 bullet every time gurls! paintfairy I also use it before/after or when on top? Oh and missionary but with him upright if that makes sense? Extra nice if you pop a pillow under your butt!

Otherwise... CD14 today and still no positive OPK. Haven't DTD since Tuesday now as OH declined last night due to being too tired... I hope we haven't messed up our chances!

What I love about these threads is that there are ladies at diff stages so we can keep each going when we are down or bored, I’m CD9 & no sniff of anything but 0 on OPK& I’m doing clear blue in mornings too to try & find OV day as no idea. I think I drink too much water during the day to maybe get the truck of the OPKS anyway but we’ll see as they are stark white but it’s early.

I sent my DH a pic of me after doing the joe wicks PE & he said “good you need to keep that butt looking good for all this DTD” I said Takes two to make a baby!
I’ve just been sent this, needs to stay in the Yellow area me thinks 😂

Still no positive opk even though ovulation is predicted today. Dtd last night and going to do it tonight as well.

@Popcorndiva what OPK are you using?

Clearblue and now wondfu. Going to do it again at 4pm, but my rhr has plataued the last 4 days

@GingerBaby89 I don't temp at all, tbh I find the opk a bit too much the loner I do it so I'm just going to leave the temping for now. I've tracked my cm for years before ttc so i do have a good understanding of my body but it hasn't behaved recently...

@Sausage1990 - I’m not as far as you I’m cd28. Been doing opk from cd 10. OPKs all negative like ridiculously negative which is very disappointing. Still DTD every 2days but feeling like what’s the point atm. No sign of ovulating through CM either so who knows

So these are my cycle lengths... The long 86 day cycle is actually when I went on the pill for a short while over my wedding & honeymoon as I was due af the day before the wedding and I didn't want to deal with it on the day or in honeymoon.
The Nov-Jan cycle was a chemical miscarriage so that's why that's longer but the last cycle and this cycle are just out of sync. My cycles before were always 30-35days..

Am I just being to hard on myself? My body is probably still getting back on track after the pill and the chemical & with all the covid-19 stress & anxiety... Its just hard sometimes to remember all of that when I feel so broody & am so ready for babies.

I don't know what point of this post is I just needed to speak about it because its been whizzing around my head. Xx

@runnergirl1 I don't have any fertile cm worth speaking of either. What is happening?!
I think DTD is still a good idea because it could be that ovulation happens but you miss it. It would be a shame to miss it after all this waiting and tracking.
Are you getting any symptoms of pre ovulation or anything? Xx

@Sausage1990 oh bless you, I think you're definitely being hard on yourself! Your body's been through a lot over the last few months with the pill and the MMC.

You almost need to put this month to one side, have loads of me/chill/naughty time and let your body work itself out for the next couple of weeks. I completely get your frustration.

Sorry to hear several peeps are having long/ unusual cycles. Maybe it's all down to corona stress.
