At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

So happy to come back after a weekend at the PILs and find all the BFP's Every one makes it feel more likely that I'll have one too. We are indeed a lucky thread.

Want to dance in baby dust for the next week. I'm so far away from testing, it just feels like FOREVER, but I quite like the not knowing. It's certainly much more exciting than CDs 1-7, I'm quite enjoying the mystery and the drama of it all. DH says it must make me feel special, and I guess it does, although I denied it at the time

Feeling very guilty today because I stayed up drinking with DH and FIL until 8am on Saturday night. If there is a little bean in there, I might even have killed it . I'm really not very good at this not drinking business - I fully intended to have about 2 drinks, but it turned into more like 2 bottles of wine over about 12 hours!!!

However, I've had a sort of metallic taste in my mouth since about Friday night. It's really weird and still with me, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I've felt sick most of today, but even I can't kid myself that's anything but a hangover. Really bad hangover that seems disproportionate to the amount I drank, really. No, that's not true - I was trolleyed and couldn't get into bed by the time I got there! Tried to go to sleep on the floor, but wasn't allowed! Everything feels like a sign of pregnancy - oh look, my eyes are green AND I fancy a yoghurt - must mean I'm pregnant!

I was exactly the same last night. Only meant to have a glass of wine with my meal.
I ended up in the pub reasoning, to a bemused DH, that it doesn't really mattter if it doesn't happen this month, it will happen when it is menat to etc etc
All just so I could have another glass of wine, and the rest!!

wow - can't believe there've been so many BFPs this weekend! Huge congrats ladies. Great way to get the October ball rolling!

excitable I love how you get excited about everything - even hangovers!

So despite my false positive opk on Wednesday I got a on my CBD opk on Friday. So I FINALLY got my egg! Having a weekend away certainly helped get us in the mood for twice a day BD'ing!

CD23 and 1dpo. It's taken a long old time to get here, but am going to enjoy this 2ww a lot more than last month (which turned out to be a 4ww).

Tell me about it Excitable, feel really poo.

My cycles are so erratic at the mo, I wish I could get a smiley face on a CBD opk, but I would have no idea when to test.
Just have to rely on EWCM and bonking DH every couple of days. Don't imagine he will complain though

well 1st October already, not got much to report here still a bit about the BFN but as you've all said I did test mega early so am hoping it will turn into a BFP by the end of the week.

I think I'll be testing tomorrow or Wednesday - thought I'd had a 28 day cycle last month but when I checked this morning it was only 27 so I'm due tomorrow.
