Hey ladies I'm sadly back. I had AF a day late on Mother's Day. I'm usually like clockwork so the fact I was a day late gave me false hope. It was only our first month trying so shouldn't be too upset.

I've bought some ovulation test strips. Waiting for them to come through. It seems super confusing how to use them though.

@Sunshinedelight1287 sorry to hear that I'm currently 2 days late and had BFNS so I wish AF would just come now as it's unlikely im pregnant gonna test again tomorrow morning if still now AF . And then I will just leave it and wait for AF to arrive xxx

@Sunshinedelight1287 hiya! How i did it was: the first month i tested every day from end af till next one at around 12pm. And recorded them all in an app called femometer. Then you roughly know when you ovulate by the stick that has the line darker than the control line. The app also sort of calculates the LH level and it gives a number.
And the following months i tested around ovulation week same time (sometimes when stick is dark i tested again at 5pm). And sort of narrow it to when you know you ovulate after that. The apps help too. 😊

It sounds like the sticks are just as complicated. I always thought I ovulated on day 14 as I notice changes in my discharge (sorry if TMI) but I think I need to check fully if I even ovulate.

So I counted how long we've been ttc and it has been 6 months and 1 day I can't believe how long it is taking us! How long has everyone else been ttc?

@NicoleR14 in April will be 1 year for us with no luck at all

@sungirl11 it feels like forever! Have you got an appointment with your gp for the 1 year mark?

@NicoleR14 i had the urine, progesterone and rubeola blood tests but now they don't want to give me the results as it's not essential neither i can have the last blood test because of the same 😔
It's frustrating honestly!
My hubs has the sperm test at home too but he has to wait until all this is over to take it to hospital to be checked.
This virus is just messing up everyones lives!
Anyway... we have to stay calm and just wait for this to be over and see.xx

@sungirl11 I think that is terrible its maybe not essential to them but it is a priority in our life's it's horrible how they treat it now a days doctors don't even take to do with your pregnancy they just push you to the side which I think is ridiculous and anything pregnancy related or ttc related they brush you off it's a terrible system they have going on even though we are in the middle of a pandemic they shouldn't ignore all the other things that's going on with people as well!

@donnat89 what cycle day are you on? I'm 11/12dpo today and dying to test but I don't want to!

@NicoleR14 this is my 11th cycle , I've never been this late never had a cycle longer than 29 days . Was all booked in to be seen until all this virus stuff happened but now have to wait . I really do not know what to do ? If AF doesn't show by end of week I will test again but it's just so odd ! I'm clearly
Not pregnant as Would of had a positive test by now ? X

@donnat89 it has happened loads of people have had bfp at 1 week late and alot of people have just had an off cycle where af doesn't arrive for days later than what it's supposed to xx

@NicoleR14 yes true Its just so frustrating , like I can't move on to next cycle until AF shows . Might just be a weird cycle well it must be as I doubt I'm pregnant . Literally just gonna have to wait x

@donnat89 I agree it is hard because all you want to do is move on to your next cycle I have longer cycles than I used to I'm on cycle day 29 and I still have 3-5 days to wait until af is due she's due on the 28th but can be the 30th 31st before she arrives I hate it

@NicoleR14 yes exactly , I wouldn't be so frustrated if I had long cycles before . Just never had one this long , and literally no sign of AF back ache has gone and cramps have gone so it's just so odd !! I'm thinking maybe my cycles have changed as that's literally the only explanation for it ! X

@donnat89 I agree it wouldn't be so bad if we had longer cycles before I always had 28/29 day cycles up and until I started contraception then they went all upsides down! And with ttc it's been worse because I wish they would go back to normal I've waited long enough to test why make me wait longer 😩😂

@NicoleR14 i know it's horrible how they treat us... it's just like they don't care at all how important this is for us. Anyway... you girls are maybe pregs or with this crazy situation you are a bit more stressed and that is why af is late? Just guessing.
I am just so frustrated i have to wait until at least mid May to get the blood test done and know if everything is ok, if this gets better, if not who knows when? But i believe it's worse for couples starting fertility treatment and all being pushed back
Can we go back to normal now? 🙄

@sungirl11 it's horrible they treat it like its not important but it is important and especially to people who are ttc! I've ordered frers on amazon they are only £6.67 for a pack of 2 I don't even know why I bothered though I think af is on the way 🙄 another month of ttc awaits!

Fingers crossed for all waiting to test o hope you get BFPS I'm putting my late AF down to stress I think . Nothing much I can do just sit tight and wait ! X

so feeling extremely emotional the only thing I've had is cramps and its making me more emotional because they've stopped can anyone make any sense out of my craziness!

@NicoleR14 I can't be much help given my
Situation but the hormones that course AF symptoms are the same hormones responsible for pregnancy hence why they are So similar literally no way to tell until a BFP or AF comes

In my case I've had neither !! X

@donnat89 it's horrible I honestly feel so lost today over it it does get you down! I hope you find out soon enough what's happening it can't be easy for you your in limbo with it!
