9dpo and bfn.... I'm carrying on testing....

Donnat89 · 18/03/2020 10:41

Yea still trying to be hopeful but can't say I'm Confident will test tomorrow and see what happens but fully expecting a BFN ! Xxx

Bbutterfly · 18/03/2020 11:08

Hey @NicoleR14 sorry I've been quiet my work is absolute chaos because of this virus.
I'm 4dpo now, I'm not confident this month to be honest. I'm not testing early either it just sends me nuts. @ArjaD sorry you are feeling fed up you're right this virus has taking it out of all of us I just still can't believe what's going on.
@Maidmummy well done for going strong, 18 tests in the house really made me laugh lol. At least One of us has to be lucky this month!! X

Maidmummy · 18/03/2020 11:53

@Bbutterfly at least if the country does go into lockdown I don't have to worry about not being able to get out and buy some tests 😂 I've shocked myself with my self restraint lol x

Donnat89 · 18/03/2020 15:06

My work is mad too , lots of staff working from home lots of sick , literally 2 of us in today in my department. We are trying to soldier on for as long as possible !

Just had an email from my kids school though it looks like it's closure will be coming soon as not enough staff !

Least being busy is keeping me away from symptom spotting to much , had some
Left sided cramping today and still got back ache so certain AF is on the way but too busy to dwell on it too much .

Will rest in the morning ! Xx

ArjaD · 18/03/2020 17:31

Yup, we can only do what we are told huh. It's been quiet here, it's eerie.

ArjaD · 19/03/2020 07:14

How is everyone doing? Everyone holding up OK?

NicoleR14 · 19/03/2020 07:32

@ArjaD getting there I should be 6dpo today af isn't due until the 28th so here's hoping she doesn't arrived how are you doing?

OP posts:
Donnat89 · 19/03/2020 07:48

11DPO today and a BFN ... was expecting that so not shocked oh well will take me seat on the TTC bus for another month xxx

NicoleR14 · 19/03/2020 08:07

@donnat89 sorry to hear you got another bfn but 11dpo is still very early some people don't get a bfp until they've missed their af!

OP posts:
Donnat89 · 19/03/2020 08:29

@NicoleR14 yes this is true but all my back ache etc I'm not surprised by it and don't think it will change

But of course not over until AF arrives . I won't be testing again unless AF is no show called

NicoleR14 · 19/03/2020 08:51

@donnat89 I agree I won't be testing unless af doesn't show she usually shows between cd30 - 34 so if she doesn't arrived by then I will test I'm not buying any tests what so ever unless I believe I'm pregnant!

Maidmummy · 19/03/2020 08:53

Sorry for the BFN @Donnat89 but like @NicoleR14 said it's still early, I think the average day for a BFP is 12dpo so fingers crossed x

As for me 6dpo today and yep you guessed it, still feeling completely normal so hoping it's a good sign as I had nothing with my previous pregnancies until 6 weeks. The only thing I've noticed is since yesterday sorry for the tmi but I have loads of cm which I'm guessing is caused by the increase of progesterone but me being me I'm taking it as a good sign 😂 x

ArjaD · 19/03/2020 09:51

10dpo here and haven't bothered testing anymore. I think they'll announce a lockdown very soon so I'm out passing cards with my Nr to the older folks in the estate in case they need anything. We need to all come together in this!

dizzy85 · 19/03/2020 10:53

Morning all sorry been a bit quiet, I've been trying to decide what to do, basically had a good talk with OH last night and we are thinking about giving this month a break to see how all this virus/lockdown progresses, I really don't want to put it on hold at all as times not on my side but from how we weighed things up it seems like the right thing for us to do, especially now they've put pregnant women in the high risk category and I already have a dodgy immune system🙄 I think I'd end up more worried if I fell pregnant right now and after our previous miscarriages I really don't wanna have to be worrying any extra. Just coming into the fertile week aswell so I gotta be strong to stick to it 😂. I was on the fence to carry on but my OH did seem quite concerned so I said we'll just have a break this month and see how it goes. On the plus side I'll now be stocking up on alcohol ready for the lockdown 🤷‍♀️
How's everyone doing? Got everything crossed for you and now even my legs lol.

ArjaD · 19/03/2020 11:54

Aw good luck @dizzy85. It's such an uncertain time huh. Announcement on the news At 5pm, let's see xxx

dizzy85 · 19/03/2020 12:22

@ArjaD yer I'm not happy about it but I just feel like it's the right thing for me at this time and plus I'm worried about older relatives and stuff and I wanna try keep myself feeling ok so I can help others if needed. Thankyou Hopefully it's calmed down by next month and I'll be back to it. I'll still be here though watching for all you🤞🏻. Oh is it, I wonder what they will say. It's such a weird time ay.

NicoleR14 · 19/03/2020 13:05

@dizzy85 this is what happened with me and dh last week he wants to stop trying for just now while this virus is on the go but we did dtd in my fertile week but we haven't had much luck so far so I doubt I'd fall this month I actually seen a big thing about lupus on the news and strongly advising people with health conditions like this need to self isolate for 13 weeks so we tallied it all up and decided to stop trying until it blows over it is very upsetting but we should take this time to take better care of our bodies to prepare them for pregnancy!

Jessmary94 · 19/03/2020 13:58

I got a BFN yesterday at 10dpo.. I no its still early but AF symptoms are starting so not hopeful at all.
We have also decided to wait till the virus blows over if we don't catch on this month.. Worrying times and we'd struggle if one of us was put out of work. Very fortunate were both secure at the moment. Stay safe everyone x

Donnat89 · 19/03/2020 14:30

Yes I agree I think in all honestly I would rather not fall now given everything that's going on .

I am classed as a front line worker so I really do need to keep working if I can .

I am also helping others and friends of mine who are vulnerable or less able to go to shops .

I was at Tesco at 530 this morning then straight to work .

We have all got to try help each other where possible so I will be focusing on that rather than getting pregnant I feel it's more important right now x

ArjaD · 19/03/2020 14:44

Who would have thought all this a few months ago huh. Stay safe all xx let's stay in touch here anyway!

MayDay27 · 19/03/2020 15:17

We've also decided to wait, I had the copper coil fitted on Tuesday. I was so excited to start trying but really hoping that it won't be long before things start to recover and we can start again! Like you said so weird how things change! It seems like the situation has escalated so quickly!! A week or so ago I was daydreaming about how I would tell family if we were lucky enough to be successful this month! Apparently since I've had the non hormonal coil fitted as soon as it's taken out I'll be good to go. We will get through this! Good luck to everyone trying this month xx

Sungirl11 · 19/03/2020 17:02

Hi girls! How are you? I've seen you are almost all giving it a break with this chaos going on. It's good to do as you feel, specially if you are at risk.
I've just finished af (finally)! My test results are back but again GP won't give me appointment... they never want to when i call... (even before this virus).
So i don't know... will have to fight again.
We are back on Monday, we just don't want to go back... it's all calm here, peace and quiet and full supermarkets.
No tourists and no virus. :(
My manager said to me yest: "Tough times do not last, but tough people do"

ArjaD · 19/03/2020 17:39

@Sungirl11 that is a Fab statement!!! Xxx

Jessmary94 · 19/03/2020 18:35

It is a good statement!
I don't think I'll go back onto any birth control but we won't be actively trying either so if it happens it happens x
