How many months of ttc did it take you and how old were you?

I conceived first month with ds and I was 34 I'm now nearly 37 and am having no luck. Just wondered how everyone else did as I'm starting to worry my eggs may be fried!

3 months with ds

just once with this one. Was 27 now 29

6 months with each girl. I was 31 when I conceived the first one - 32 when she was born. And 34 with the second.

fertility does decline with age, but not that drastically between 34 and 37, I don't think. It's a bit of a lottery. There is an average 25% of pregnancy per cycle ttc, I think. I have always got pg very easily indeed, but have also mc three times, with the result that between 27 and 30 I have been pg 5 times.

How long have you been trying? A friend of mine took 4 years (between 30 and 34) to conceive her ds, then conceived her imminently due dc2 at 36, unplanned, in a drunken NYE situation

I was 37 and it took 2 months - I was very lucky

with dd i was 17 and on the pill and using condoms with ds i was 19 an it took 6 months (both were concieved in february of each year so im guessing i have a fertile time of year!0

It took me 4 months to conceive my dd at the age of 30.

DS1, 2 months, aged 33. DS2, 3 months, following early m/c, aged 35. DS3, 1 month (!), aged 38.

1st month each with the dds (aged 29 and 30) and 6 months for ds (37 by the time he was born)

8 months faffing then 8 months trying for 1st Preg - m/c 28/29yrs, 4 months for ds 29yrs, 1 month for dd1 31yrs and 2 months for dd2 34yrs.

I was 27 when ds 1 was born and we had been ttc for about 33 cycles.

Ds 2 we ttc straight away when fertility returned at 6 months- that took 3 months.

ds 3 we ttc immediately after a surprise m/c (we were planning waiting a bit longer b4 ttc dc 3) and that also took 3 months.

i was 24 just and it took 2 cycles

I was 29 when conceived ds and it took 6 cycles. Am 34 now and am pregnant with second and it took 8 cycles. Good luck

about two years (but lots of faffing) with dd, was 33 when go pg; not intentionally been trying not to conceive since she was born but soming up on two years again (again with lots of faffing, though have been serious for three cycles) and still waiting

BTW will soon be 38

3 months with ds & about 6 months with dd.

I was 19 & 24.

I was 38 and it took me 9 cycles, although TBH I was poorly for one of them and away on business for another, so probably more like 7 cycles.

DD1 (I was 28) 9 months
DD2 (29) 1 month
Also had mc which took 1 month to conceive that baby as well at age 31

3 months with DD1 (age 26)
two weeks with dd2 (age 28)
2 months with pregnancy no.3 miscarriage (age 30)

2 months aged 21

3 months age 42 - really lucky!

1st month with ds1 age 37 and 1st month again when I was 39, but m/c. I know younger women who have had probelms and older ones who have conceived straight away, so I wonder if the relationship with age is quite as staight forward as we're lead to believe

age 25, conceived at first attempt.
