Well done sexyandhappy....... The ov kits pick up the peak level of hormone that results in ovulation...... but aswell as sweetheart I too have been using them....only 3 months and I am not preggers yet..........but I guess our bodies don't work out of books or follow instructions.

Just had a bath and applied fake tan! my dh just come in bathroom and thinks that we should stop temps and ov kits and just go for it for a while!....Feels really strange not temping and testing and not knowing when I am ov but I guess he has a point!..........I have been sharting for 10 months now so I least I know a kind of trend........

i think we will need a new thread soon. i got my hsg test tomorrow. right now, iam stuck in my "after af blues", too early to do some bd, and just expecting the worse for this month again. does anyone get these blues, in the middle here? when last month's try is over, you can't be pegnant, and seems like ovulation is so far off. every month i think it gets worse. it's starting to really affect me. i pray this month will be the one, but i doubt it. what a great x-mas gift it would be for all us gals, if the af witch disappears within the next 2 months! lots of hugs and prayers to you all!!

Nasty old flo arrived this afternoon . She was early - 2 days! I reckon I ov on cd13 when I would normally ov on cd14/15 so I suppose her turning up early might have been expected!
Good news is
1 I'm onto the chocolate
2 I'm on cd1 so don't have to wait any more!
3 As SHE turned up early and checking dates, dh might actually be around at the right time this cycle
Bad news - never have sore bbs around AF time - only when pg. Had very sore bbs this cycle, so if I do get pg, won't have a clue about it!

CD14 here No temp change yet though and CM not indicating OV either. OV date was CD18 according to FF last month.

MommyD, better luck next month and enjoy the chocolate . Just looked at my persona monitor and m symbol is flashing - I'm so excited and nervous now. Had to resist the urge to buy first response test with my groceries on line earlier, although there is a chemist just over the road from me so tomorrow we'll see....

hi guys. i never seem to get that real fertile cm at any point in my cycle. i get "wet" at times, but no stretchy stuff. anyone else in my boat there? my gyn said if i dont have any of that, i may need insemination. is that true? every other aspect of my cycle is totally normal, but i just don't produce that egg white stuff. i heard robitussin can help, but i dont know if that is just a wive's tale or not. please advise. thanks ladies baby dust to all

My friend Tessiebear has asked me to post a message 4 her, as she is house sitting & thier pc has crashed!
Basically, she did not get her cm until cd22 & is now on day 35 (I think?!), so was leaving the testing till later.
Anyway, she did a hpt today & got a BFN.
Could she have still tested 2 early?
Also, she claims 2 have had some thick, gooey cm today, which she describes as kind of cloudy.
It is obviously 2 late 4 fertile cm, so what can it be?
I'm afraid that I couln't help her on this 1, but told her that 1 of u lot will probably have more of an idea.
She will not be able 2 get back on her pc until Thursday, so has asked me 2 post 4 her!

Shely, robitussin or drinking lots of fresh grapefruit juice apparently but I have never tried either.

BT, the creamy lotion like type of cm is what you get after the fertile stuff until it dries up pretty much towards the end of the cycle. Please let Tessiebear know that I'm sorry about the BFN but if she hasn't got af yet then she may still be in with a chance!

GM, it just means that af is due to start shortly, that is unless she has gone on her hols!!

From what she was describing, the cm sounded similar 2 the fertile mucus (as in it was stretchy etc), but she had her proper egg white stuff on day 22.
She is a bit confused about it & I am no help atall, as both my ds's were little accidents!

blueteddy, just to let you know that I am on a website that analysers fertility charts and I went and had a look at the gallery, where there are loads of womens charts and loads that did not get a bfp until.......15-18dpo!!!!!!!!!!!!! so there is hope for us yet.... please pass message on to tessiebear! I tested today too Iam 10/11 dpo and got a bfn....so testing at the weekend still holds!

bit of advice for everyone!

my dh thinks that trying to predict ov in order to time bd........is the hard way to do it

He says that if we all have bd every 2 days all cycle.......there will be loads of BFP all over the place.

he would say this as he is a man!. However..........girls he has got a point! I have been predicting trying for 10 months and a big fat nothing!.........at work I hear millions of stories,,,,about when couples stop predicting and just go for it and something happens.......so there is proof in the pudding....what does everyone think??????

dpo= days past ovulation

yeah that's OK if you haven't got kids already.... too knackered to do BD every other night

.....also forgot to mention that is ti better for the sperm to be there already when ov rather than ov then having sperm there...if you know what I mean?????

I know what you mean, those of us without kids also get knackered!!! especially at 41yrs!.......but its not forever
