Someone said how there heart was beating faster.. It did when i was PG though i was going to have a heart attack. You would have to take deep breaths to calm the heart..

Morning all. I feel very today - oh, how I love the first half of my cycle! Am going to stock up on grapefruit juice and cough syrup (yuck) today and go for it hammer and tongs next week (I'll leave you to visualise just how I'll be using these aids to babymaking).

I'm on cd23 so I'm the waiting stage of my cycle.

Dh said to me last night "no sex tonight, OK??" I replied "It's OK we don't have to do it anymore this month"

Can everyone guess what reaction I got -

Yep, the old - "oh well, if thats all you want - is my sperm!!!!!"

I tried to explain that from here on in it was for pleasure ONLY and we didn't HAVE to do it every day/every other day.

He took this totally the wrong way and came back with "Oh right so it didn't give you any pleasure - that's nice isn't it"

Perhaps I should give him the one thing I always refuse to do to make it up to him!!!!!

sweetheart Tell him ya using you for your sperm big deal, your getting somthing out of it too !!! Only Joking.. I keep all that away from DP as i know he would'nt rebember when ov is even though i could have told him a week agao i would have to explain again!!! He is trying though.. A nice romantic nite in with wine, nice food and your undivided attention to your DH.. That works a treat for me.. I can get what i want the next day...

Oh my goodness it has just taken me half an hour to catch up with this thread - but can i say what a great and lucky and lovely thread this is at the moment.
Minnie - i dont think you should test until 14 days post OV.
Spykid - our stats are exactly the same! My Ds's are 6 and nearly 4 and i am also 1st month of ttc no3 and aged 31! I too am worried that my fertility will have dropped since ttc the other too. Both of which i fell pg with first time!
Mommy D - for your stats list - DS's are 6 and nearly 4 and i am 31 (or twenty eleven as i like to call it!)
Bagpuss - exactly the same family situation here - my family are going to be in total shock if i get pg with no.3! NOONE and i mean NOONE in my whole family history has ever had more than 2 children!! (except for great great grandparents!) My sister is at the moment "thinking about" ttc no1 and i was very worried about stealing her thunder as she has wanted a baby for so long. She is the only person in RL that i have told we are ttc and she was totally ok about it. As she said-we cant put our plans on hold for others - it is OUR life!
Jeddah - i am on CD30 today and i also OVed around CD22. I have decided to test this time next week - which will make it 14 days po.

Yes it is MommyD - came off the mini pill on 16th September (CD1) Didnt OV until CD 22ish (i think) on CD30 now ... going to test next fri (CD36) if AF hasnt paid me a visit by then..

oh yes... i can't keep up! You did tell me yesterday.
I have really started to think I might be pg. Surely not?!!!! bbs are heavy and I never get that unless pg. I keep waking up at night feeling very hot and I'm getting lots of pains on the LHS - they normally go after ov. Who knows? Trying not to think about it too much.

What CD are you on MommyD?

Only bd cd10&11 as dh went away on cd12 for a week. First month of trying. Thought there was no way I would get pg this month. May still not be...
I said I was trying not to think about it - but here I am again, talking about it!!!

I know what you mean MommyD - part of me just "feels" like i could be and my Boobs do feel a bit weird - sometimes tingly and sometimes almost burning. I asked DH this morning if they looked any bigger because i am sure they feel it - he said "no exactly the same size" ... sure its all in my head - this time next week i will have tested - horray ..

I really think you could still be in with a chance mommyd. We actually TRIED to BD up to four days before OV and then not on OV because we wanted to give the girl swimmers a chance! This was when i was sure i oved on about CD14 so we stopped on CD10...... then i sat back thinking all the work was done for the month and on CD22 i got the Eggwhite CM!! BDed on CD23 ... dont know exactly when i Oved .. am pressuming sometime around then!?! So the fact that i BD only once around OV doesnt put me in with a great chance this month ... but thats all it took with DS 1 & 2!!!!!

TB - did you fall pg quickly with the other two?

posts crossed. I fell pg with ds2 after just one 'risk'.

MommyD - first month off the combined pill we conceived DS1. DH and i only BDed once that month due to work commitments. After DS1 was born i didnt go back on the pill we just used condoms ... i charted my OV for a few months whilst still using condoms then the month we started trying i worked out when i oved and we Bded once that month and was PG!!!!!

I came off the mini-pill in Nov00, started trying in Jan01. Fell pg month one, but had a m/c at 4 weeks and 4 days. (If I hadn't tested, I wouldn't have known) Started trying again in April01 and fell pg 3 months later. As said ds2 was conceived when ds1 was 7 month and I said to my dh that there was no way we would fall pg as it was the wrong time of the month, still b/f, had c-section and so on. He didn't believe me, but we took that one 'risk' anyway. OOOpps Found out I was pg on Christmas Eve - he just grinned and said 'Happy Christmas. I told you so!' I was !

TB I am also testing a week today so this time next week there will be sychronised weeing on sticks lol. I am getting a bit fed up already with this waiting though. I keep imagining symptoms too. Made myself a cup of tea this morning and couldn't stand the taste also last night I had a diet coke which tasted funny too. Boobs are sore but then that's nothing new at this time of the month anyway so I'm totally confused, although pretty sure it won't happen first time like the other two.
