I disagree with PP, I think they're positive but they are quite faint so I would worry about a chemical. As hard as it is, leave it 2 days and try again. Flowers

Binky89 · 30/01/2020 06:25

That’s what I was worried about :-( I’ll try and leave it a few days and see what happens, I’m so rubbish and waiting and seeing haha , thanks for the replies

I think it looks like a faint positive too. There's a definite line. Fingers crossed it darkens up for you. Could you have ovulated later than expected?

allthesharks · 30/01/2020 06:54

I can see lines on all of them. You said you got that clearblue from the co-op. Ask them if they have any of their own brand tests. I got a decent line on that test quite early on.

Photo attached to show the comparison to the FRER taken the same day.

Could this be positive ?
BeingATwatItsABingThing · 30/01/2020 06:59

How many DPO are you? My BFP at 9dpo wouldn’t even show on a camera and I can see yours. Also, I may be wrong but I don’t think that’s an early test. My CB earlies look like this. That test was taken at 10dpo and now I’m 7 weeks today.

Ovulation was 14th Jan according to the app I use but I guess it could have been later than that. My periods are like clockwork and was due yesterday. The clear blue test isn’t an early one , it says 25mlu on the leaflet and says “99% accurate from the day of missed period” which is technically today. I did have an early positive once in September, about 3 days before period, but then when I tested again the next day, absolutely nothing and then had a really heavy painful period so not sure if that was just a bad test or if it was maybe really early miscarriage. I need to go to and get a more sensitive one I think after work and try again in the next couple of days. It’s just horrible not knowing for sure, but then again, I shouldn’t be so impatient ! Thanks for all of the replies, it is really helpful. I have no idea what I’m doing as only been trying for 5/6 months. I’m 31 and I know that’s not old but I can’t help but think I should have started trying a lot longer ago 😩

@binky89 I can see lines on the clear blue and your strips. I’d get a FRER, I had a real squinted in IC but very clear bfp on FRER. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

R2D2abc · 30/01/2020 12:02

OP, this is my test on missed period. Looks like yours. I'm 27 weeks now.

Could this be positive ?
R2D2abc · 30/01/2020 12:02

I forgot to mention was lunchtime when I did it, my FMU were way less visible.

peachgreen · 30/01/2020 12:27

Oh I didn't realise you hadn't missed your period yet! In that case I don't think the faintness is really an issue to worry about, it's still very early. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's tests!

Binky89 · 30/01/2020 12:28

That’s promising if that’s what yours looked like, what are people’s opinions on digital ones ? My mum suggested one so no need for interpretation , I’d wait till sat morning though I think ...

It was due yesterday and no sign yet, fingers crossed ! Sorry if TMI but I have been getting a lot of watery discharge and I feel bloated and having random pains/cramps in my back and abdomen , is that anything relevant ? Thanks again

R2D2abc · 30/01/2020 12:33

I did a digital one on the same day I did that CB test and was negative. Also did with FMU following day and negative. And I was pregnant and my dates were correct. As I said I'm 27 weeks pregnant.

I would wait a couple or few days so you don't waste money. I did tons of tests( I was in disbelief I'm pregnant) and I can say IC were extremely faint even days later, Wilkos were bad too, Sainsbury were kind of ok, but not super dark, freedom one from Asda was nicely going darker, FRER were brilliant. I was nicely surprised by this CB test, also bought from coop as the only one they had. I re did it at almost 7 weeks( before early scan) to see if I was still pregnant and it got soo dark and immediately.

Binky89 · 30/01/2020 12:35

I’ll try my best to wait a few days then ! Thankyou

They all look positive to me

Get a FRER from Boots, they're by far the best in my experience

Nicecupofcoco · 30/01/2020 12:46

Hi binky! That's a faint positive test, no need to be concerned yet, I'd give it another day or two and test again! I can see your lines even without zooming in! Eeeek.... Hope this is your bfp!
I had a chemical last August but fell pregnant again the following month (they say you are more fertile after a chemical or early loss) so, not to worry you, as there is no reason to think this is a chemical as its still very early, but just wanted to let you know that if it was a chemical, it wouldn't be the end of your journey, as sad as a chemical is, there is still hope.
With this pregnancy my lines stayed faint like yours for a good 2 or three days before slowly getting darker, so please don't worry at this stage. Good luck to you!

MsChatterbox · 30/01/2020 13:25

I would still feel quite hopeful with that line! You may have implanted late.

SoonToBeMrs91 · 30/01/2020 13:29

@Blikny89 they all look faint positive to me xx try getting first response and try that.

Binky89 · 30/01/2020 13:45

I’ll keep you all updated ! Thankyou

Hi everyone. I too suffered a miscarriage back in October. Was devastating, not pregnant yet but would anyone be able to help me with my cycle? I’m awful with keeping track even though I have an App I don’t understand the ins and outs. Basically my period after my MC was the 27th of November, after that was the 25th of December. That would make my cycle around 29/30 days I counted ? This period I got was late as I got it on the 24th so a couple of days late. However my period was and always has been like clock work- to the exact hour nearly. This period wasn’t like a normal period either, light to start off with, pinkish, brownish (TMI) there was abit of red too but I just know it wasn’t a normal period. Can anyone shed some light or have any similar stories ? Period is over now but I’m still quite crampy and have some very very light brown discharge.

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 30/01/2020 15:22

I think they all look like they have faint lines. Don't want to give you false hope though. I wouldn't say they were definite negatives though which is good. Fingers crossed for you.

calimommy · 30/01/2020 15:27

@Mummy1998 it's best to start your own thread if you have a separate question, you will get more replies that way x

Re your question, after a miscarriage it can take a while for hormones to settle down again. Have you done a pregnancy test to make sure you aren't pregnant now?
