I was thinking of testing tomorrow at 11 DPO but now I’m getting the negative fear. Anyone else feeling they want to wait extra days so not to be disappointed sooner or is it just me?

@RMusic12 thanks sorry youve not got BFP yet but it’s still early! Are you testing every day now? Do you think evening urine would be ok? I don’t fancy rushing a test half asleep in the morning and having to go to work straight after!

@karenkeys I bought the pack of 20 strips from amazon so I have plenty plus 3 digital tests 😂😂😂

I'm going to test every day for the next week I think....

Can anyone help me? I’ve started using ovulation test strips which I’m finding extremely confusing, I’ve had a test line darker than control line which I believe is positive and the LH surge has begun but is it normal for it to still be quite dark after 24 hours Since LH surge (peak)? I’m very confused as I’ve been told after LH surge 12-24 I should be ovulating but then I’ve been told 48 hours until ovulation now I’m struggling to know what day I’m actually ovulating?! Any help? :(

@RMusic12 only got one test left going to go for it on Friday morning and hoping it’s not so faint so it feels more real! I hope you have some luck too but it is the first month. I think I’ve lucked out having not been able to take the contraceptive pill, so I’ve not had to give my body time to adjust back to normal. Fingers crossed!

Thanks @EmbarrassingMama! Still can’t quite believe it. I’m sure come the weekend when AF was due it will seem more real. Also if tomorrow mornings test is darker

@RMusic12 do you think your symptoms might be related to coming off the pill? Assuming you haven’t had a BFP in the last few days.

Guys I took another test this morning and it’s fainter than before. Might not be my month after all? I think I got less urine on the stick but you’d think the morning urine would be stronger days later. How is your testing going?

Did you pee in a pot? I'm crap at actually peeing on the stick. And was it first morning pee?

Same type of test the FRER. I peed on the stick directly. Admittedly I was half asleep so maybe wasn’t a full 5 seconds but the test end was looking pretty wet when I put the cap back on. At 13 DPO on a morning I would have assumed it would be more than barely there! It might be a chemical? I’m due AF this weekend.

@RMusic12 sorry yours is still negative. I’m hoping we are both still just trying these too early! When are you due your period? Mines vary in length so could be tomorrow, Sunday or Monday.

I’ve just peed and wiped some spotting which happens the day or so before periods for me :( definitely a bad sign!

Thanks! I’m trying not to get too upset. I think I’ve learned my lesson to not bother to test early again. I think it’s better to wait until the missed period as otherwise it’s false hope and upsetting.

Does anyone know if this is a chemical pregnancy, can you try again the next month?
