Is anyone currently ttc and due to test the week of/up to 12thfeb according to ovia:) would love to have friends going through the same as me roll on DC2 #baby2020 fingers crossed xx

@HarrietM87 Are you just fed up of it all? This whole TTC can be very emotionally draining.

@Mc3209 yep! It is so draining. I wanted a two year age gap with my son and I feel like time is ticking away. Waste loads of time counting months and days and it just makes me feel like I’m wishing my life away! I had strong (what I thought were) implantation pains at this stage last cycle so was convinced I was pregnant, but haven’t really had that this time. Only 7dpo so still time I suppose.

@HarrietM87 Wherever I look, the advice is 'to relax, let it go and it will happen', which is impossible to do! I find work helps to take my mind off it a little, which is a welcome distraction.
Have you tried anything to distract yourself?

I can’t really distract myself very well - it’s a bit of a problem at work which is super busy at the moment! I also don’t really believe in that relaxation stuff. I was very stressed when I conceived my son - had had 3 miscarriages in 6 months (literally conceived then miscarried in alternate months 3 times) and we had one shot before DH went somewhere with work that had a zika risk (which means no ttc for 6 months) AND we were mid stressful house move...we were so lucky!

@HarrietM87 Gosh, that does sound stressful. I guess it's when the body is ready - it's ready. Me being a bit of a control freak, I struggle with this lack of control.

Can I join too please? I'm in my TWW. According to Ovia my period should be due on Sunday I did 2 tests yesterday and one today all negative but I've been getting symptoms. My nipples particularly the left one feel as if someone is stabbing hot needles into them, I've felt sick for the last few days, I'm more tired then normal even though I've had my 3 work day rests. I've had a pinching and pulling sensation in my lower left side and a niggling pain in my back. All very similar to the symptoms I had last time I was Pregnant. The only difference is my boobs don't Throb as much and I don't
Have any food aversions yet, but when I drink tea or coffee or have chocolate I can literally taste the milk inside it and my coffee tasted that disgusting I gagging trying to get it down. I've had 4 losses the last 3 within 8 months of each other. The most recent one hit us the hardest because I'd gotten further along and had scans I've also being TTC for the last 16 years. All
My Pregnancies so far have been with my new Partner. Unfortunately time is also on our side due to age so we're really really really hoping that this month is our month!! Baby dust to us all!!

I think I just got my first squinter , not saying anything to DH which I feel guilty about , going to wait a few days and test again .

Think I’m out this month! Period due today, nothing yet but having the most agonising cramps which are coming in waves. Did a test this morning negative but the test I did this afternoon looked like it had a very very faint second line on it. Keep checking every time I go to the toilet to see if my period has come. So far all I have is lots of thick clear stretchy discharge. Still feeling very sick and my boobs have been painful too.

@Lozz22 that sounds hopeful to me! Have you got a frer ready for tomorrow am?

I’ve had quite a bit of cramping on and off today (9dpo) which used to be a good sign for me, but I had it last cycle which was bfn so don’t trust my body anymore! Testing in the morning and already feeling down about it - I hate the tww but at least the hope is better than a bfn!

I don't want to get his hopes up. I'm the least emotional out of the two of us so I can deal with the disappointment if it comes to nothing.

I want to tell him if it gets stronger when I retest in a few days time.

@HarrietM87 I've got a Pregnancy Test not sure if it's a FRER though it's just a morrisons cheapie. Figured if I was gonna be disappointed there wasn't much point wasting money on expensive pregnancy tests.

BFN this morning. Have had quite a lot of cramping and still days off my period so had started to feel a bit hopeful, and now gutted! I know it’s early days but have always had a faint line at 10dpo before.

@HarrietM87 big fat negative for me this morning too! I think this is pretty much our last chance of having a Baby before the end of the year. And as silly as it sounds I also wanted to be Pregnant by May because our Baby's due date would've been the 7th of May. It's going to suck enough as it is but being Pregnant again would've eased the pain slightly

Hey can I join in? AF due this Friday 7th and the TWW is literally doing my head in!!!! TTC for 8 months for second baby.....8 years after the firstborn! Mad or stupid not sure which??!!! Baby dust to you all xx

Hello ladies. Day 19 in my cycle not sure how many dpo as I thi k I ovulated earlier this month? As previous post said about my twinges for a day do u think it would be to early just to do a quick test and see if there's a squintar or no? The temptation is Soooo Hard Lol x

@Cokezero777, put down the pee sticks and step away slowly Hold on in there, the longer you wait the more reliable the result.
