Now I finally have my BFP after a MMC and then 6 months ttc, I'm petrified that it's going to end in a CP or another MC. Anyone else wanna hang around and be anxious with me?

@ec1993 that's exactly what I've been feeling like sickly like you get when you're starving. I do feel a bit shaky today though too. I'm rebelling in it though as I think the more symptoms I have the better haha xxx

@BabyB19 exactly what I think too! I just want the next 9ish weeks to be over and a healthy pregnancy. I hate these first few weeks of worth and uncertainty xxx

Holmes1990 · 19/12/2019 11:05

I couldn't relate more to this thread!!

I had an early MC back in August but got my BFP on Monday. I'm nervous every time I go to the toilet 😂

BabyB19 · 19/12/2019 11:16

Hello friend @Holmes1990 😭🤣 we can be crazy together! It's the most nerve wracking time isn't it. I'm cradling my belly and stuff like a maniac not letting anything close! Xx

@BabyB19 Hello! Yes!! I started taking the pregnacare vitamins this time around so 🤞🏼. I'm 5+2 today. Boobs feel massive but apart from that no obvious other symptoms. How are you feeling?

BabyB19 · 19/12/2019 11:53

I'm not sure how far I am yet, I'm guessing between 4-5 weeks going from my cycle but I must say I do feel further than that! Horrible metallic taste in my mouth, headaches all the time. Weeing every 5 minutes, feeling slightly sick before I eat in the morning, and I generally feel like a tank! Must be water or something but my belly feels massive xx

@BabyB19 Wow! Lots of symptoms!!! I've been using the Flo App to track my cycles so have quite a bit of background info and expected due date in August! It's all very exciting

BabyB19 · 19/12/2019 14:06

I deleted the Flo one and went with the Fermometer one because you can upload your tests and it reads the levels on then etc, my cycles are a bit all over the place so only a scan will be able to tell me properly how far I am I think! @Holmes1990 xx

@BabyB19 Ah OK. Have you got in touch with Doctors/ Hospital yet to book an appointment? I'm waiting until after Christmas to be on the safe side. Not sure how I'm going to keep it a secret as it's usually quite a boozy one for me!!

BabyB19 · 19/12/2019 14:36

@Holmes1990 I'm at the Drs at 4pm today, I seen the nurse the other day and mentioned it and because of the MMC she wanted me to see a dr straight away so she just booked me in. Christmas is usually boozy for me too so my family are definitely going to be finding out early xx

Been to the GP and she has checked me over and is happy with how things have progressed through the week. She has just advised to do the higher dose folic acid and has done a referral to midwives stating due date not known as she isn't convinced from my cycle on a definite date, so they should see me sooner! Xxx

I can't bend as water starts pouring from my nose and I can smell everything! Apart from that, touch wood, I'm doing okay. How are you feeling xx

BabyB19 · 19/12/2019 22:26

I'm doing pretty good, I feel a bit less nervous today for some reason 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣 @ec1993 I've got a bit of heartburn today too. I seem to be having a lot of symptoms! Xx

OP posts:
ec1993 · 20/12/2019 18:31

@BabyB19 I've had nothing but a watery mouth today I don't even know if it's connected? 😂 feel like I'm going insane! Xxx

BabyB19 · 20/12/2019 18:36

Excess saliva is a symptom I had that last time ☺️ @ec1993 I've been knicker checking today I feel so 'periody' xx

OP posts:
ec1993 · 20/12/2019 19:11

Me too @BabyB19 makes it worse because I'm due on tomorrow 🥴 I also did my second FRER and it's the same darkness as my first one so I'm overloading on anxiety right now xx

BFP now Knicker checking!
BabyB19 · 20/12/2019 19:20

They say it doubles every 48-72 hours it increases don't they, as long as it's not getting lighter try not to worry too much today @ec1993 I have everything crossed! Today is the first day I haven't tested so I think that's probably why I'm worried as I've had no validation today xx

OP posts:
ec1993 · 22/12/2019 15:05

Hey @BabyB19 how are you doing xx

BabyB19 · 22/12/2019 15:30

Hi @ec1993 I'm ok thanks, well apart from the raging mood swings I'm having! How about you? Did you do any more tests?

SoonToBeMrs91 · 26/12/2019 15:45

Hi @BabyB19 hope you are doing well. I'm joining you in knicker checking now, we've got our BFP on Christmas Day. It's terrifying

BabyB19 · 26/12/2019 16:25

Congratulations @SoonToBeMrs91 how are you doing? Is this your first? Sorry if you've already told me! I'm petrified as I've been having spotting for a few days so it's been a bit of a worry over Christmas unfortunately. Testing every day and still getting strong lines though so that's good!

OP posts:
SoonToBeMrs91 · 26/12/2019 17:04

@Babyb19 if it sticks it'll be our first, we had two MC's this year. I'll be going to doctors tomorrow to have it confirmed, and if it doesn't stick we'll have some investigations, as it would be 3rd consecutive MC. I'm having everything crossed that it sticks.
Spotting is always worrying but the fact that your lines are still strong is a good sign xx
