Hey, currently around 8/9dpo. I had a static smiley on clear blue ovulation test Sunday 24th so assuming I ovulated the next day? No idea to be honest, it's my first month trying them. Af due on friday (6th), I am dying to test but going to hold out until friday (well try to anyway!). Been getting some cramping this morning (I get this a few days before af due though so I'm guessing I'm out this month, but trying to stay positive). Anyone else testing this week?

I know @Dollywilde my husband pointed that we must be saving loads on not buying condoms. I laughed and said I'm spending at least 3 times that much on pregnancy tests 🤣

Seriously though this monthy struggle I can't keep doing it!

At what point would you test, ladies?
I'm currently late (AF should have been here Mon/Tues)
I tested Saturday as we were going out for the evening (out out) and got a BFN... Now I'm too worried to test again!!

I had some slight spotting yesterday (which would have been 14 DPO) but nothing since... This literally never happens. I'm normally a 29 day cycle, regular as clockwork with a quick 3 day AF...

ARGHHH! What to do?!

@newlymarried2019 - three days late and spotting that's tailed off? Sounds promising! I'd test tomorrow with FMU if you have a test to hand...

I've just taken a first response which is silly for a number of reasons. It's evening for one.
But what's more silly I just spent I dont know how long, taking pictures, inverting the pictures and even taking the test a part ...seeing lines that aren't there.
My logic is if I had the slight hint of something this morning. Maybe by this even I would see something...
All kinds of silly. Definition of crazy right here.

@mrshufflepuf not silly - well, okay it is - but it’s just standard TTC stuff! I’m struggling to explain this to friends with no DC, they think it’s just this easy breezy thing. I just don’t think you understand it unless you’re here...

TMI alert - sat on the train home from a late day at work and feeling damp. Wondering if it’s early AF or CM (if CM, good sign as usually I dry up by this point...) Won’t be home until 8.20 so can’t check for half an hour. What an exciting adventure!!! Wink

Sorry @MrsHufflepuf missed your earlier one! Yep - if you add up the costs of vitamins, tests, Clearblue OPKs and the rest I reckon I’ve probably spent about £200 in the last 10 months? Fuck Blush

Anyway - I bet you can’t stay off the test until Saturday morning. Go on. Dare you!

Lol @Dollywilde I appreciate the effort but that tactic is not going to work. Even if I wake up late, I'm still testing tomorrow morning 🙈 it's like an addiction, I accept there's a problem but not ready to do anything about it lol.

That's something I've had this month too, CM for days, like I'm leaking?
Plus really vivid long dreams...
Honestly though I'm trying not to think about those symptoms... it's the fact I had spotting this month that's really driven me loopy.

I'm messaging a few of my friends, most dont have kids but one does, the one that does fell straight away... and the ones that dont just say I need to relax ...

How does one relax and "let it happen" , when you want it sooo badly?

Can I join? AF is due on Sunday I think. My cycles aren’t particularly regular and I’m pretty sure I ovulated early this month so it may appear earlier. By my calculations I’m 13dpo. I’ve been getting very weird cramping today. It feels like it’s on one side and down my right thigh. Has anyone had this before? It obviously could be completely unrelated! Not sure when to test but I’m definitely waiting until I’m late because I wasted so much money on tests last month.

I know what you mean about the symptom spotting, just checked and it’s lots of CM... ugh god I can’t let myself dream. Can’t!

Relax is such bullshit. I read something that said that women in warzones don’t have their fertility decline... sorry this is very flippant but if you can be literally in Syria and as fertile as you would be if you lived in London then I can’t see that me worrying about it is going to make a difference frankly...

Ok well if you insist on testing tomorrow let us know how you get on Smile there will be virtual Brew or Wine either way.

@12goldstars due Sunday too! Cramping is a funny one isn’t it... I’m so used to associating it with CD1 and being sad, having it in the two week wait makes me feel almost hopeful. I’m torn between testing on Sunday when AF is due or giving myself an extra day to see if she rocks up first, tricky. Is this ttc #1 for you? I’m jealous of those who have conceived before as they have symptoms to go off, but then from these threads it sounds like things differ every pregnancy so who knows! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dolly it’s actually no.3 for me. I have two wonderful dds already. I am very lucky and conceived them both very quickly but this time round I have a health condition that will make it more difficult to conceive and make miscarriage more likely. Age isn’t on my side either Sad. Although I’ve done it twice before my symptoms were very different. Dd1 a strong sense of smell and massive boobs but I didn’t test until I was 2-3 days late and it occurred to me that there might be a reason. Dd2 my head felt weird when I was looking at a computer screen. Strong positive at 9dpo. I don’t remember cm changes or cramping this early on with either and I don’t think my boobs changed with dd2. It’s actually worse because the nausea I had with both comes back when I smell certain smells, pregnant or not. It gives me a lot of false hope!

Teach it’s still so early. Fingers crossed for a positive in a few days.
Dolly no! I’m going to be strong. It’s my eldest’s birthday at the weekend and I don’t want a negative or worry overshadowing it. I will definitely test on Monday though.

Sorry to hear that af has arrived @mrshufflepuf. I'm in the same boat, I'm around 11dpo (cd25), had cramps for past 3 days now. Af due today and done a test first thing this morning and bfn! So waiting for af to appear at some point today 😔 x

I'm losing my mind here 🙁
So...
CD20... positive OPK
CD29... fresh pink when I wiped
CD30...off and on brown/old blood CM but only when wiping
CD31... wiped first thing this morning and it was pink but now back to just brown/discoloured discharge

This is now day 3 of wearing a pad and nothing ever on it.

Continual cramping, sore lower back, sore boobs haven't lifted. Been moody the last couple of days but not today.

Can AF not just show her face and be done with.

Did a test and it was negative Sad and had more brown spotting today. Just waiting for af to show now!
Think I got my hopes up too much this month.

@teachpeace tested before AF due and the test was white white white! Have another FRER which I can do tomorrow AM with FMU, but I'll go grab some cheapies tonight...and hold my pee for as long as possible.x

@wannabebump thanks. Good luck to you hope you get your bfp. I guess I'm not out until af shows but I'm just not feeling very positive after 2 years of trying it is very disheartening and hard to stay positive. Xx
