I'm in my fertile window now but my partner has the flu 🙈 what are the chances!!

Cycle day 17, depending on which app to believe I am between 1-3dpo! First cycle of TTC, after mini pill so my hopefulness fluctuates.

Oh no @Tbug that's crap. You'll just have to treat him to going on top so he can have a rest 🤣👍🏼 x

@tbug oh no! Get him stuffed with caffeine and he'll be fiiiiiine. I'm sure DTD is an unheard of flu cure...

I'm 7dpo today. Feeling a few things but could easily be in my head. Thankfully Im pretty busy with some deadlines over today and tomorrow as well as needing to finish wrapping presents to take to England on Friday and needing to dye my hair. So, I'm hoping from now until Monday really flies and I won't catch myself POAS.

@tbug wake him up in the morning for it it will be done before he realises 😂 @BabyB19 how you getting on? I am cycle day 6 and still feeling chilled not even had urge to POAS.

I'm CD9 so just about to go into the fertile period in next few days I think, I'm really more relaxed this month though I'm just going to BD as much as poss and hope for the best ☺️

@BabyB19 I sometimes think that's the best way to do it - when your body is relaxed and you're just going with the flow.

Day 30 for me tomorrow. Flo predicted cycle of 28 days, then changed to 29!! Why does it do that!!! So annoying.

Sore..ish boobs last 2/3 days.
No cramps. Feeling strangely ok this cycle.
Too scared to poas!!! They make me feel soo sad ☹️

@BabyB19 I'm cd9 too and also feeling unusually relaxed! I'm definitely putting it down to Christmas and having nice things to do and keep me distracted ha!
I'm feeling quite hopeful and positive this month. No idea why, I'm hoping a more relaxed and stress free approach will be the secret

I agree @bluebell94 @Quiffy I'm hoping for some Bfps for us with us being a bit less manic, I'm sure we'll all be mental around testing time though!! @ShiningStarz hahah @ShiningStarz maybe we should yeah. You're the only one I know who can hold out!!

Hi all :) first month of trying to conceive and after the TWW madness has kicked in and I've been obsessed with all things research (desperate to find some symptoms pre-missed-period) I decided to join this forum as it is brilliant! It's nice to be on these forums as even DH who wants this too, just does not realise how much pressure is on me for it to "work" !!

I'm 8dpo today and trying not to stress too much nor POAS yet. AF predicted a week today so still trying to hold out for a few more days at least. @ShiningStarz I feel you on the fear! I'm scared to see a chemical or BFN it's too much isnt it?

@Newbie1992 haha that's exactly what my DH is like! I was going on about fertile windows and tracking ovulation etc and he looks at me like I've got 3 heads 😂 tbh there's a lot more to it than I thought before we started TTC, it's a minefield!!

@BabyB19 Hiya, sorry been quiet past few days. AF has come to an end.

I am away this weekend for 2 nights without DH so hoping we don't miss the boat, but hey just trying to relax and what will be will be!

Hi @Newbie1992 a chemical or CP is where the egg is fertilised but does not stick and you get your period. You might get a positive briefly if this happens which gets your hopes up and why it's best not to test until you're late. But none of us ever do because we're all crazy hormonal maniacs. You're in safe hands I promise!
Good to have you back guys @Tbug @ceebee21 make sure you BD before you leave and right when you get back to be sure and if it's only 2 days away you will be fine ☺️

@Newbie1992- totally with you on the DH obsession, no matter how supportive they are, they just simply don't get to go through all the symptoms, imaginary symptoms and stress and pressure like we do. My partner is extremely supportive, but when he said something about my chemical: "it's only a stick positive, not real pregnancy"- it got me upset for a few days... Not to even mention all the hormone surges that is happening in our bodies all the time during the conception cycle...

*not obsession , observation. However "obsession" may also be suited if you describe the sudden desire to jump on him every day during certain weeks of the month 🤣

cd 7 and no poas yet. I’m not going to do the opk and rather than bd everyday for the 3/4 days I’m going to bd every other day for longer I’ve got a funny feeling I ovulate later than I think. I haven’t been thinking about it which has done me good but just had the thought about what I’m going to get DH for Christmas and I thought imagine giving him a BFP as a present so this resulted me buying two frer which I wasn’t planning to do.

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm with you on that - really trying not to POAS, but am temping and feel like that is just what I am going to stick with at the moment.

Sort of feel ok about this month if I get a BFN - just enjoy the festive period if that is the case....but imagine the BFP as a present!!! xx

I'm exactly the same @ceebee21 @Jonesbabynumber1 I would love to give a bfp as a present he would be over the moon but if it doesn't happen I can enjoy Christmas. I think I'm more stressed that if I get a bfp, I will be super early and not want to tell people but if I say I'm not drinking they will all know anyway! X

@BabyB19 get your OH to order the same drink as you and then stealthily swap when he's drank most of it haha.

Or buy a bottle of mulled wine, empty it or get somebody to drink it first haha then fill it up with non alcoholic mulled wine 😈😂

I clearly haven't thought about this in any detail.

If you're at a party make yourself a drink and omit the alcoholic part of say a vodka and coke etc 😂
