I am definitely being more patient this month and really trying to take a step back, I got upset last week when AF came and he said I have to 'make like Gary, and have a little patienceeee' 😭🤣 he's daft but it did make me lighten up a bit 🤷🏽‍♀️ xx

I'm back!!! I haven't had a chance to go see my doctor yet as I work long days and they shut at 1800.. but the day of my second more clear bfp I started spotting nothing bad, by the next day it's pretty heavy had 2 x 5 cent piece size clots. No more clots since that, still fairly heavy.. I have had absolutely no cramping no pain anything, and I have no symptoms of PMS and we'll the test was positive. I will try to get to the doctors this week but feeling like this night not be good..

I feel like I’ll be right at home here, I am 1dpo And I swear if I had tests in the house today I’d have done one, knowing full well it would be a BFN of course! So before I’ve even POAS, I can tell I’m going to be a bit of a POAS addict.

I totally agree there’s something about Christmas and getting a BFP and wrapping it up as gift I’ve literally been thinking that for the last 2 weeks. It is also my first cycle TTC so I don’t think you could get more perfect first month TTC and BFP at Christmas! I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up but I can’t help it!!

@dizzy85 I have dd who is 22 months today and then I came off my pill in October ttc so not long at all really...

@MrsCl19 I have been trying for a little while, last year 4 months then had a little break then this year 6 months we got pregnant but unfortunately ended in a mmc and now this is the second month trying again after that.
Hopefully we all get lucky this cycle 😊

@Blondeandbroody Hello! It's so hard isnt it? I even bought a card that, although is blank, id love to give to my parents with a pic of a positive test in on Christmas day. So easy to get lost in the fantasy. Fingers crossed though!

@Starlight69 the clots don't sound so good. How are you doing today?

I'm 6pdo today and got some bad cramping. Not sure if that's good/bad/in my head. AF due 12th so going to try my best to hold out until then for a test. Although, full confession, I did use a OPK today as I had to pee on something...

@Quiffy feel great I've had no cramps or pain at all bleeding gotten lighten today normal cycle is 5 days of hell -_-

@Quiffy oh thank god I am not the only one who thinks about stuff like that.

We have this thing about not telling anybody until we have the scan picture but if I were to get a BFP this cycle I would be around 14 weeks for my dads birthday so should have had a scan and I keep thinking I could wait and give him a birthday card saying grandad with a scan picture inside haha why do we do this to ourselves!!

I think it’s harmless as long as I also know it may very well not happen that way, it won’t stop me feeling disappointed when it doesn’t, but at least I’m not going into it all blind!

@quiffy you’re right on that one, I think it’s just our way of connecting to the circumstances we find ourselves in at any given moment on our TTC journey.

I just have to keep bringing myself back to earth every now and then and remind myself of the likelihood.

If it doesn’t happen this month then maybe the month after and then I can come up with all new fantasys to make my peace with the situation.

I am back ladies, been quiet for a little while, getting over my tantrum about AF arriving when I had a BFP before it. So AF is gone now and my POAS times are back ( OPK ). My sister today told me- you should test before AF due or even until it's 1 week overdue... Yeah... daaaahhh.... 🙉 Easily said that followed! I have already ordered a bunch of FRER and simple strips ... 🤩

Hi everyone, hope you all doing ok today.
I bought the FR tests today! £6 in Superdrug!! AF due date tomo (my app thinks I’ll have a 28 cycle!)
Boobs started to get sore today, so odd, they should have been sore a week ago if I’m due tomo, maybe ovulation was late!! Must get the ovulation tests for next month. I’m already predicting a BFN!! Why did I even buy the tests?!😩

I also think about who’s birthday or anniversary or whatever card giving reason it might be if I had a scan pic, I’m crazzzy too!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

So I tested lol! But I think I peed on the wrong side! I always use CB tests but thought I’d try the FRER this time as they were half the price!
I peed on the pad with the side of the 4 windows (not the results window)?!!
It was bfn but unsure if I’m using the test right!!

@ShiningStarz I dip mine in a pee pot. I always kill tests using the stream - I think both sides of the bottom bit are okay though?

@ShiningStarz did you buy the early first response test or the rapid response? I usually just pee in a pot and dip them coz I'm rubbish at aiming on the stick too.

@ShiningStarz are you sure if FRER test? They usually have such an end that it can be used from any side ( looks like a huge white paintbrush end ). Never seen a FRER with four windows.
@Blondeandbroody @Quiffy I used fortune cookies with secret message inside during our home cooked Japanese dinner to tell my partner... Was amazing until it turned out a chemical.. No more big announcements for me. My partner keeps joking that I shouldn't tell him until the 9 months are up after our upsetting experience 😂 I used to spend days researching of how to tell my parents or my partner. Now it's very easy- as long as the pregnancy sticks and is developing well- I don't want to even think of telling anyone at all!

Hi Everyone, sorry been quiet I've been mad busy these last few days. I'm loving this Christmas period as it's really chilling me out. Today I couldn't even tell you without looking at the app what CD I'm on! And that is unheard of! I'm sorry we've had a CP, and I hope that everyone is holding up. I've just bought a Philips Lumea hair removal machine so I'm hoping that even if not pregnant I'll be hair free for Christmas! X

Hope everyone is doing well,
Haven’t been on all week as little one had a fall and broke her arm. She is doing very well though and is in great form, loving the cast!

Had a delivery yesterday of opks and frer. Honestly the temptation to poas even though I’m on cd 6 is ridiculous 😂.

Plan this cycle is regular bd throughout and am also trying acupuncture on Thursday.

Shall we try for making a list of our stats so we know who’s coming up to testing etc? Be handy to know who needs a hand hold for testing.

I'm on CD 28 today. App predicts today as AF start date!!
I feel so rotten, full blown cold and cough, boobs barely even sore. I'm not going to test as I'm pretty sure AF will show up in next few days😩 will keep you all posted.
