Hello everyone!! Please may I join the party, I'm losing my mind here! Does anyone know ...I stupidly just did a FRER test at 9:30pm, big fat negative. I'm due on Period tomorrow. Is testing so late at night pointless or would it still show a positive??

@Constantlurker hello, welcome! I think everyone is different really, when I got my bfp last time I did a frer at about 6 in the evening the day before af due. But some people don't get it until later. Wishing you luck. How long have you been trying?

Thanks dizzy85. Have been trying for about 4 months, miscarried last month sadly after 1 month. I ovulate really late, I only ovulated 5 days ago but AF due tomorrow. So far I've only gone as far as ovulation sticks but I'm starting to think about what else I can do to increase chances.

@Constantlurker I'm sorry for your loss, I had a missed miscarriage in July at almost 3 months is hard to go through. Hopefully af doesn't show for you. I only use ovulation sticks but this month I've chilled out on them as i was getting too obsessed. You could try temping, some people get on well with it. Do you normally ovulate late and then come on not long after?

I love the name @Constantlurker I wouldn't know when to test OV 5 days before AF is due!
I'm a drinker too so it will be very obvious if I'm not drinking over Christmas but then don't want to tear after Christmas and risk drinking if I am!
@Jonesbabynumber1 I booked a holiday in September thinking 'oh it will be Sod's law I'll get caught this month before I go' but I didn't so I say book away, just pay the deposit so it's not much to lose if you do catch 🤷🏽‍♀️

And I was thinking that today too, I bet I'm already like 4 months pregnant and it's just not showing on the test!

Me too @Cheetos and im completely exhausted I really struggled to get out of bed today, had road rage all the way to work and have sat in a huff eating crisps all morning. To say I'm only just past OV I feel terribly hormonal like AF is on her way! Not due for 2 weeks! X

Oh no I have started on the OPK's... still a flashing smiley on Clearblue - CD 15 I think? But not sure when to count CD1 as, AF arrived on Wednesday 27th pm, but pretty much disappeared until the next day!

Oh no @ceebee21 do you think it's possible you've missed the peak and now this is the levels reducing again giving the flashing smilie? Or is it you that has the shorter lutheul periods? I can never remember how to spell that 🤦🏽‍♀️😭🤣 x

I have no idea, but I haven't had a spike in bbt, which I am tracking at the moment!

God knows, will just have to go with it and see what happens. Not very hopeful this month anyway due to being away, so guess I can just enjoy Christmas and have a fresh new year

Maybe take @Jonesbabynumber1 approach and BD every other day when you can and have a rest from the opk's/temping, that way you know whenever it happens you are covered. I'm aiming to do that too just incase there's any chance I've not OV when I thought I did x

I feel really crappy today so tired and grumpy. Surely if I've only OV some point from Monday it would be way to early for either pg/af symptoms? My boobs are enormous too 🤦🏽‍♀️😭 @ceebee21

Yeah way too early for either @BabyB19. Implantation doesn't occur until around 9 DPO, and you have to wait for Progesterone to drop before AF... it is probably just your hormones playing tricks on you.

Try not to read too much into it, that is the only thing you can do.

I think we convince ourselves we are pregnant each month that comes around. I do lol x

I'm not thinking it could be pg really I'm more concerned that af will show up and throw my cycle right off track just when it seems to be settling 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm doing a qualification through work and have 4 back to back study days this week which is hard going so maybe it's just that making me knackered 🤦🏽‍♀️ x

@BabyB19 the thought of wrapping our baby presents next Christmas made me smile ☺️ I really hope it comes true. I've been shopping for my 6month old little niece and omg it's making me so excited..little tiny baby clothes and shoes are soooo cute 🥰

I almost bought a little pair of baby converse booties tonight just to wrap up with a positive test to give oh for Christmas to share the news if I get a bfp but chickened our as I didn't want to jinx it 🤦🏽‍♀️ @dizzy85 @ceebee21

@BabyB19 I have a dd who's nearly 2 and I nearly bought a big sister tshirt for when I eventually get a bfp but also chickened our 🤣🤣
