@Robbo93 @Gems7 I just realised that I've been off contraception for 11 months, but 'officially' trying for 6 months (tracking and doing opks but we was dtd in fertile week too prior) I've got a doctors appointment today and I'm going to say that to her, hopefully they can start some tests. I know I'm definitely ovulating that's not the issue so let's seeeee

I am cd10 and entering fertile week I think, not doing OPKs this month, just going to DTD every 2 days and potentially every other day this weekend when I am "supposed" to ovulate

@Ellsbells112 fingers crossed for you for this month! And yeah deffo good to see the doctors if its approaching a year. Not really sure how to class our ttc length as We have technically been been trying for 5 cycles. Took 4 cycles (June- september) to conceive than was pregnant september - November, then miscarriage and a month off so it's only been 1 cycle this time but overall been 8 months since we first started haha

@Ellsbells112 I'm in the same boat as you are. I think I'm definitely ovulating, I'm getting all the signs that I am, my cycles are regular aswell so that's not the issue for me either (I don't think)
We will try one more cycle this month and then going back to the GP to demand some tests.

@Gems7 well I'm really happy because she took me dead serious. She said the average time to get pregnant is 8 months, I told her my history and she said there could be possible scarring causing issues. From what I told her she said she knows I'm ovulating (all the tracking) but she just wants me to get a day 21 blood done and my partners sperm checked and then if that is all okay she can refer me to have my tubes checked which literally makes me so happy. I won't be stuck in limbo anymore thinking have I effed myself or is it his sperm etc Ahhh I'm super happy with this!! I get the 21 day blood done on 2nd march! Signing my partner up at the docs and getting a sperm analysis done! Whoop xx
How are you feeling now? I'm getting af pains but think that's normal, I'll be due Sunday or Monday.

You, I'm trying to have the same, scan/tubes checked etc, but waiting for OH's GP to do the sperm sample. At least things are moving along for you, that's all you can ask for really isn't it. It's the "not knowing" that's difficult. Just having to wonder every month why it's not happening.. is there a problem or not?

I feel bloated and crampy and irritable and ugly today. I've had "twinges" in the left tube area that I can only describe as somebody gently pinching a nerve on and off with tweezers or something 😂 it doesn't hurt and I'm pretty sure I've experienced it before so I know in my heart it will be AF getting herself ready! Xx

@Gems7 awww thanks xx I know, literally now if I don't get a bfp this month or next month etc I know that things are in motion to get looked at and that's literally all I can ask for!

@Ellsbells112 hopefully we are wrong as they say pregnancy cramps are similar to AF cramps, but I'm doubtful. At least we all have each other to vent to. I'd go mad if i had to bottle

@Ellsbells112 I don't have tests in the house because I know what I'm like and I just can't face that disappointment 😭 I'm so sorry you have a BFN, it's just shit!! It is still early though like @Anny27 said.. when is AF due for you?

I know AF is on the way for me.. yesterday I was extremely bloated and crampy all day and night it was awful. Woke up this morning with a spot on my chin which is another classic AF sign for me. Boobs still don't hurt which is strange but I'm not reading too much into it because all the other signs are there. So I feel crap. 10 or 11 DPO today.. AF due Saturday and then on to another month we go ☹️

Anyone know which vitamins/supplements are recommended for helping sperm motility etc? OH has agreed to try something this month xx

I feel like we are both in a similar position. With an older child with a previous partner and both struggling to conceive with a partner who has no children. I want to be able to give him a baby so badly, it makes me feel so shit at this time of the month when I know we've failed again and AF is coming.
So yeah I'll probs do the same as you and stuff my face full of food, then when AF arrives on Sat I'll drown my sorrows further in a bottle of wine with a straw! 👌🏻 maybe 2! 🤪 xx

@Gems7 😂😂😂😂 we've got a friends birthday to go to on Saturday evening so if I'm on then or feel it coming the day after I will definitely be knocking back some nice whiskey 😂🥃.
I know we are aren't we lol, but then maybe it is safe to say it's them? 🤦‍♀️ Not in a bad way, I mean I'm sitting here saying to myself what if my womb scarred from abortions and then my friend tells me her friend had like 4 and still went on to have 3 healthy pregnancies. Me and OH was talking last night and he actually said, you know what El it's probably me. Bless him, I said we won't know till tests are done it could be either of us.
I've booked the doctors app for Wednesday next week so yayyyy we will find out in the next few weeks if his sperm is okay or not. I don't actually know what I would prefer? Knowing that hes got low sperm so we have to do it less and wait for it to happen, or wait however long it takes to have a look at my tubes and the rectify the issue!! 😩 At least the process has started though! I just pray that is something that can be fixed! Xxx

It's so hard isn't it, because nobody in the relationship is to "blame" if there's an issue, it's life, shit happens!.. I love my OH to pieces and it wouldn't change a thing in our relationship if one of us had an issue that was preventing us from conceiving.. I would just hope (like you do) that it was something that had a solution, because we are both so desperate for a baby. We are on the right track to getting answers though!!
There's so much they can do medically these days isn't there.. but I know (if it got that far) that we wouldn't be suitable candidates for IVF because I already have a child with somebody else.
Doesn't help that my sister had announced her pregnancy.. it's making my ovaries ache! 😭

@Gems7 awww yeah I know!! 🤗🤗 Sooo many people are having babies right now 😩😩. Yeah same as me, it would have to be paid for and I've heard the success rate for ivf is better in other countries and cheaper too. There is iui I think it's called where they wash the sperm etc and inseminate or something like that, just sounds so bloody cold doesn't it!! Af cramps full on came for me today, literally went and bought a fat choc peanut Butter slice haha and now I just want to sleep (especially after last night OH came back from a business trip and showed me how much he missed mr😂 not complaining at alllll)
Definitely no one to blame but yeah just hope there's an easy solution in place for us (all of us) ! Xx

I started spotting this afternoon right on cue! 😒 AF will hit full force tomorrow! Home from work ten mins ago, bath running, bottle of Prosecco poured! I'm out.

@Gems7 ahh I'm sorry hun!! I'm waiting for full flow, yesterday evening couldn't even call it spotting was just a tiny dot on the tissue, same as now. Having little cramps but just waiting for a proper flow, which will come I'm pretty sure of it. Maybe the medication I took has messed with my flow too? Anyway I'm so hungover jesus 😂😂 unreal right now
