Who is getting a BFP early October?

Hi there! I have just had my positive OPK and starting a TWW. Who would like to wait together? I think I will start testing on 5th October.
Age: 29
TTC: Second baby
Ovulation: 25 oct
AF due: 5 Oct
So far I have had a miscarriage in May, then a chemical in August. I'm taking Iron supplements, Omega, Folic acid and Primrose oil. I had all possible tests done and basically all is fine and I was just a bit misfortunate. The only thing that worries me is a quite short luteal phase. But maybe it's just how my body is.

@Nic555 how are you feeling now? What CD are you? Any plan for this month ?? Xx

@Sardi28 do you usually spot before AF? I have positive vibes for you 😊 sounds promising but I know it's hard not to get your hopes up.

I'm treating today as CD2 as Thursday and Friday was just a couple of spots.

I'm feeling positive. This feels like my first proper period since ending BC in June. My last 2 AF were barely anything. So in my head I'm treating this as cycle 1 not cycle 4 and hoping to ovulate even earlier than last cycle. Just praying I don't get a long cycle like cycle 2 which is still at the back of my mind.

I think I'm going to try and BD every other day from day 10 a bit like SMEP. I'm also going to make sure I BD the day after my flashing smiley as that's the day last cycle that I noticed loads of EWCM. Going to drink lots of water and try not to think too much about it till after I've ovulated.

Will you do anything differently if u don't get your BFP? How old is your son?

No never had spotting before , ever. Very weird. I don’t have any tests in the house, and in my Pjs , otherwise I think I’d have cracked by now 🙈😂

By about CD 4 ish I start to perk up again too, another chance! What BC were you using? I used to get longer Cycles when TTC the first time. Up to 35 days and it drove me mad because some months would be 28. This time it’s been 28 like clockwork, dunno if that’s good or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

I might try a bit of Opks this month if nothing happens. Just curious to pin point ovulation. I’ve always just used an app. My Son is 3 😊 having a cozy day with him, but he has also just had a melt down!! So escaped upstairs to “change the beds” whilst secretly on here 😉

@Sardi28 ah it must be awful waiting with all the signs and having no tests. I've never got to the stage of having to test yet. Always started Af 12 DPO and this month started spotting at 10 DPO. I was just on the pill. Finished it in June after we got married had my withdrawal bleed then a 37 day cycle, 44 day cycle and this last one was 32 days. Having the 44 day cycle was awful as was panicking I wouldn't ovulate then when AF arrived the thought of waiting another 40 odd days to test again was awful. Was so pleased this last cycle was shorter.

28 days is perfect. How long did it take you to conceive your little boy?

I can't imagine ever getting a positive at the moment but apparently that's quite common all my friends felt the same.

I've had a lovely afternoon drinking prosseco and watching our wedding dvd 😊 xx

Well I poas , but it was an Opk!! 😂😂😂 no strong line so it’s given me doubts . I’m gonna have to stock up on ics. I’m a poas addict 😬

Took us 10 months on DS. Not to bad but my SIL was pregnant so it was hard sometimes. I felt like you , that the BFP would never come. But it did ☺️

@Sardi28 haha did you. I nearly did that on Thursday but AF beat me to it. I haven't tested once yet. The witch keeps arriving early. I have tests this month though so may end up caving in. Are you testing tomorrow? X

@NavyBerry I love that you don't believe in Evaps !! I'm out shopping at the mo, and cinema. So I'll have to get a FRER I think. Or might just wait a few days . I can't build my hopes yet. AF due today xx

Looks like i am out this month. Line never got any darker and dot have any signs now. Have to jump to November bus now. :(
Using Flo and Clue to track my ovulation. Any other recommendations?? X

Just did another test today. Checking this, there’s a faint line but i have no symptoms at the moment. What you guys think?? False positive?

@Linaaaaa that's a lovely strong BFP! Congratulations and don't worry about symptoms. I didn't have any with my DD until week 7.

I still can’t believe that could be true,i have about 6 test left and going to use all of them 😬

So just went to gp, and did a test there and she said it is negative, i drank quite a lot of water though before the test , do you think it might have effected the result?
I showed my tests but she said they are commercial ones so cant say if they are showing the real result or not. I will get those digital ones tomorrow.

I’m 20 years old, recently had a miscarriage with our first baby (planned) in July and was heartbroken. Started trying again after my period early September and now I’m on day 35 of my cycle and still no period! Negative pregnancy tests though going to wait a few more days as I think I ovulated late. @linaaaaa so sorry to hear about the doctors must be awful for you the unknown. Maybe the test she did is too sensitive and you're too early for it to show. I'd test again with your own over the next couple of days.

@chlosavxox sorry to hear about your MC. Positive vibes that your cycle returns to normal soon. You may even get your BFP in the next few days 😊

@Linaaaaa good luck! Make sure you keep us all updated. Ps drinking water defiantly effects the result - try and do it with your first wee of the morning as that’s most reliable! With my last pregnancy I didn’t get a positive until I was almost 6 weeks pregnant sometimes it takes a while for the hormones to build up, such agonising wait though 😩

@Nic555 AF arrived on Monday. Back to the drawing board for me. Still I'm next fertile on my birthday so that will be fun at least!!

I’m not sure what to think. Had a couple of symptoms this week - nausea, tiredness and a bit light-headed and thought we may have succeeded. AF due this Saturday but yesterday I started getting spotting and getting cramps.

So did this test today, I don’t care what gp says. This is a definite BFP :)
