Hi there! I have just had my positive OPK and starting a TWW. Who would like to wait together? I think I will start testing on 5th October.
Age: 29
TTC: Second baby
Ovulation: 25 oct
AF due: 5 Oct
So far I have had a miscarriage in May, then a chemical in August. I'm taking Iron supplements, Omega, Folic acid and Primrose oil. I had all possible tests done and basically all is fine and I was just a bit misfortunate. The only thing that worries me is a quite short luteal phase. But maybe it's just how my body is.

@Nic555 and iron! With good water consumption during the day. That's what my doctor said. I have latent iron deficiency it can be a reason for short cycles

I just did a Frer with the biggest fattest negative I've ever seen. 🙈
AF due on Tues 😖

Nic555 · 03/10/2019 19:31

I haven't drank as much water this month so maybe that's why and I've been stressed the last two nights reading old threads on here which I don't think helps x

Nic555 · 03/10/2019 19:32

@Sardi28 still time for you to get your BFP not over till AF shows

Raizelrea · 03/10/2019 19:34

Hi Ladies, do you mind if I join in? I'm 11 DPO, testing tomorrow or Saturday depending on how impatient I am 😊 How is everybody feeling? Any symptoms?

Kaykay29 · 03/10/2019 19:36

@Raizelrea good luck. Have you had any symptoms yet? When is your AF due?

Kaykay29 · 03/10/2019 19:38

@Sardi28 I'd retest in a couple of days. Good luck x

Raizelrea · 03/10/2019 19:40

Thank you @Kaykay29 - AF is due Sunday though my app is predicting I will be a day late absed on ovulation. Symptom-wise I've been having nausea pretty much since ovulation which I think is normal for me but would tend to stop before AF and a weird pulsing pain in one of my breasts (really it's both of them but never both at the same time). Also normally at this point in the cycle I'd be spotting already but so far nothing. But that could just be because I may be late this month!

How about you?

Kaykay29 · 03/10/2019 20:07

@Raizelrea sounds promising! Keep us updated with your results. My breast feeling fuller and sore is always my first symptom of pregnancy and I've been pregnant 3 times 2 of which were miscarriages though and that was 3 years ago but were giving it another go so hopefully this time don't end in a miss carriage x

Whyhaveidonethis · 03/10/2019 23:39

I just tested at 11dpo on a FRER. BFN for me

Taylorrrrr · 04/10/2019 02:42

I went off the pill early August and haven’t had a period yet or BFP yet but hoping I’m just ovulating/cycling late and will see a BFP this early October!

MrssC92 · 04/10/2019 06:12

So I caved and tested at 9DPO. BFP so happy just hoping for a sticky bean 🤞

NavyBerry · 04/10/2019 06:53

@MrssC92 wow! Congratulations! ThanksThanksThanks first BFP on our thread! When are you telling your partner?

NavyBerry · 04/10/2019 06:54

It is a bfn for me so far. 9 dpo as well

MrssC92 · 04/10/2019 07:13

Thank you! I did the test then woke him up at 4.30 with the results 🙈 he was very happy though and didn't mind. I don't usually wake up that early I only did because I needed a wee
9dpo is very early. I didn't expect to see anything yet but tested anyway because I'm a POAS addict.

Raizelrea · 04/10/2019 07:26

BFN for me sadly!

Congratulations @MrssC92 that's a great line for just 9 DPO.

Nic555 · 04/10/2019 07:40

@MrssC92 congratulations that's brilliant. As a fellow cervix checker do u mind me asking if you noticed any difference?

@raizelrea sorry to hear of your BFN still time. It's not over till AF arrives x

Raizelrea · 04/10/2019 07:43

Thank you @Nic555 ! How are you feeling?

MrssC92 · 04/10/2019 08:02

Thank you both Flowers
Honestly my cervix feels the same as last month when I wasn't pregnant. I googled it last night and I think the cervix changes position at different times for different women so i think I'm going to stop touching it now.
Sorry to hear about your BFN. Like @Nic555 said though your not out until AF arrives.
Fingers crossed for you all ladies

Nic555 · 04/10/2019 08:29

@MrssC92 thanks I think I'll stop bothering checking as well. You don't gain anything just stresses me out and changes throughout the day anyway

@raizelrea I feel so down today 😭 I know I'll feel fine in a couple of days. It's never nice when your on your period even if you're not TTC. How you feeling?

Raizelrea · 04/10/2019 08:39

Thank you @MrssC92 that's kind of you!

@Nic555 I know what you mean, at least AF means it's a new cycle and you're in with another shot. But I know that doesn't help much. Be kind to yourself and take it easy over the weekend! I feel ok, I think I'm in denial still. My grandma is not well so I've been hoping to have some good news for the family but some things just can't be helped.

NavyBerry · 04/10/2019 09:30

@Nic555 just sending smiles and some positivity to you! ThanksThanksThanks it is not a bad day it's a fresh start!

@raizelrea @NavyBerry

Thanks you both for your kind words. I was tempted to leave mumsnet until the TWW like I did last month but it's lovely to have support from people in the same situation. So I'll stick around and hopefully next month will be our months x

MrsLEB · 04/10/2019 11:43

Af is here for me 😞 time to begin cycle 11

Nic555 · 04/10/2019 15:46

@MrsLEB sorry to hear Af arrived. Hope you're OK. Fingers crossed for next month x
